Genuinely, ive played a lot of apps since HS. This has been by far our fav. Its a real game, simple ofc, but very good.
Played and beat this several times over the years. One of the best.
This game is simple yet gigantic! Such a great adventure game filled with different fun mechanics on how to traverse the land. Combat can actually be challenging and some of the bosses require some thought. The design of the world is cleverly done and even the story is easy enough to follow but suspenseful enough to keep going. This has been a great game and we recommend it to all.
We love the gameplay and its super fun but sometimes its so hard because with one boss no matter how hard you try you cant not get hit when you jump to another platform and that makes it impossible unless you spend hours grind one boss just so you can move on like that to us is just stupid. But over all its pretty good. Also the people that thought ads on literally every corner were a good thing we mean come on how brain dead can you be please if anything fix it before your player base drops to zero.
Played it when we were young and still love it now Im old. Us and our sisters race to see who can beat the whole game first.
We dont need to say anything, its just best game what we played for about 10 years.
This is seriously the best on the market. Im a HUGE Zelda guy and this is the closest thing to it that can feed our appetite while on the go. Thank you.
It is our childhood game and we give us so much nostalgia when we play it now. If you are into Zelda or MYST games you will love this game. It is so fun and addicting, we try to play it as much as we can on our free time. We would go looking for new games to play when we were little and we got so lucky and found this and we thought it looked so cool so we downloaded and played. We were amazed, it is so fun and adventurous. When we got it we had just beat Zelda ocarina of time and it is kind of similar to it so we kept playing. Please keep making games, We all love you.
As a child we used to download games randomly and play them all to have so variety of fun, but one day we deleted them all with swordigo being one of them. Growing up we never found the name of this game and ever since we found it on instagram Ive been playing every day. This game is like a ps3 game and brings back so much memory so everyone should give it a go.
This game follows much of the same logic as described in the above article. For purposes of self education, in terms of the making of mistakes, as well as thoughtful acceptance of such, Swordigo provides and has provided to us for almost if not over a decade, a linear thought-provoking singularly-focused gamified reconditioning experience. For those wondering: Simplicity allows for original thought. In the simplicity of this game, meditation is apparent upon extensive play.
Request to the creators of the game, please release the second version, please please please.
This is the best game Ive ever played on a phone before. Lots of adventures and surprises.
We just finished beating Zelda 2 and decided to revisit this game for like the 5th time. Insane how much of a step up this is. Best mobile metroidvania. Crazy how they never followed up on it.

This is an EPIC game which we have loved playing dearly. It is challenging, but its amazing.

We loooove this game so much we bought the no ads/ support devs cause this game is so epic. One thing we found is that you can farm the Corruptor in the Corrupted Grove for Exp and gems! All you need is the shadow trinket. What you do id stand on the edge of the platform facing the big gap, but back by the last pillar, and double jump and shoot magic bolt at the top. It should damage the corruptor but he will not shoot at you. Once you run out of energy, run to the very edge to bait him over. Just go in a clockwise circle to dodge the little tracker thing and hit him with your sword with the shadow trinket, which will do no damage but replenish your energy. Keep moving in the clockwise circle and alternate with your sword and the magic bolt until he dies which will give you 378 exp per kill. We reccomend putting it all into magic until its maxed because it will make it easier to do the next time. Then just run off screen to the left and back on and he will respawn! Devs: Please do not patch this. It's hard enough to do where it isnt game breaking, and it feels like a fun easter egg! Much love, Sephyr.
Just extremely entertaining when youre bored.
This is definitely a great game, Ive shared it with multiple people especially those who enjoy games like this it reminds us of the Legends of Zelda, the quests are legit, and the boss battles! This our second time playing this time Im going to make sure we clean up all the chess lol.

We wish we could give this game more stars. By far the best game we have played on a mobile device. Its just big enough that it will last you up to several weeks of casual play but not so big that you think it will never end.
Was having problems with our wife so we showed her us 100%ing this game and she gave us all her money. We are not happy but sticking together because of this game. We owe everything to Swordigo.

We have had this app on our phone for well over 10 years now , it has followed us through several generations of ipod/iphone and it will never be taken off. Excellent well designed game that is so fun to return to several times.
This game is so addictive and we cant tell how many times ive completed it. We love a good adventure game and this is exactly what we liked. Wished there were more games like this and we absolutely loved the art and graphic design. (wouldnt want to change anything) the fact that its free makes it even better. Im still hopeful for swordigo 2 after all these years! PLEASE we BEG!! Even if it cost a bit of money, id be willingly.

A friend recommended us this game after he beat it. We personally thought it was gonna be one of those terrible games that just try to make some quick cash, and we were deeply mistaken. This game brought another side of us, and Im so glad we took the time to complete it. This game was the reason we woke up in the morning, and the reason we were excited to go to sleep. This game changed us, please, never stop developing games. You truly are a master. This is a work of art. Thank you.
This is one of the best mobile game we have played but we think the reason its not popular is the lack of advertisement and we wish they would have advertised their game more.

We used to play this when we were six and came back to it recently it is amazing best mobile game on the market easy and its free.
This is genuinely the best mobile game Ive ever played. The ads are kept to a minimum and theyre only a few seconds long which we absolutely love. The gameplay is amazing with the really cool but old looking graphics. The story is absolutely amazing and we genuinely am so glad we found this.

Wow. Best game Ive played on our phone. Its just the right mix for us (challenging/easy, fun, gameplay, visuals, audio). When we finished it and saw the short list of credits, we were even more impressed. 3 people: Programming, Graphics, & Music. Thats it! Ive played it through several times since then. Not a single bug/glitch (we thought we found one when we hit 99% on a playthrough, but there was one house we hadnt visited). For an extra challenge, we tried to get as far as we could with the original sword and no armor. Took us a while to get to the final boss (havent beaten him yet). Fantastic game. We wish they made more (their other game makes us dizzy, unfortunately). Buy the Coin Doubler if you dont like to grind. Youll pretty easily have the money when you need it. The Compass isnt particularly useful, but Im still glad we paid for it, since these guys have well earned our money for the entertainment this game has brought us.
We have played through the game at least ten times and have been playing it for over eight years. The story is actually interesting, the combat is really fun, the progression is steady and engaging throughout the entire game, and its FREE! Definitely our favourite mobile game, we havent played it on other devices, but its the pinnacle of mobile games.
This game popped up in our recommended and it took us back. This was such a fun game to play, someone who as a kid that wasnt allowed to play nintendo, this game satisfied our craving for them. We played it over and over again for 2 years and it never got old. We highly recommend it.
We LOVE THIS GAME! For a platformer that operates on a phone we really cant say enough good things all about this title. The only critique we do have is the obvious one, thats the ads. Other than that, its a really fun game. Honestly a gem no pun intended lol.

We remember completing the game back in the day. The last boss made us rage so much we literally balled our eyes after every death. This was on the ipad 2 and we plan to replay this again. Thanks for being an og in our life developers.
