Teacup Mobile is a Puzzle/Family game from Whitethorn Digital LLC, first launched in 17th August 2022.
It’s rated 4+ and currently has 8+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes Teacup Mobile Stand Out

Teacup is a short and wholesome narrative adventure game with a focus on exploration and non-linear progression.

You play as the titular Teacup, a shy and introverted young frog who loves drinking tea and reading. The day before she is to host a tea party at her house, she realizes she is completely out of tea, and thus must venture into the woods around her to find the herbs she needs to restock her pantry.

You are free to tackle the list of ingredients Teacup must gather in any order you wish. Find your own path through the world of Little Pond.

During your adventure you will meet the charming inhabitants of the forest. Some are talkative, some are grumpy, but all of them will lend you an ear on your adventure.

Most of the animals you meet will be glad to help Teacup… in exchange for a small favor or some help. Organize a (oddly shaped) market stall, win an underwater race and more!

This Puzzle game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

This game is calm and cozy its best with tea, but a thing we have in mind is it can be less pricey because its a nice short cozy game and we were thinking the price could be 0.99.

What a sweet game! We loved joining Teacup on her adventure to collect tea for her party, the interactions with all the other animal characters were cozy and the mini games were fun and varied. We like that there was a whole map to explore and that you couldnt go to certain areas until you completed different quests. Going to her grammas house was our favorite, we would totally live there in that cozy house. Thanks for the escape into a cozy woodland world, just what we needed. Wish it was longer, because we had fun.

This game has helped us be mindful and calm instead of feeling like we need to accomplish all the tasks and be done with it. Especially the fact that shes anxious and gets positive responses from everyone! Im enjoying all of the little conversations Teacup has with townspeople. We really enjoy that during the mini games there is no time limit. Its a pace Im not used to and am very happy with! That being said, we really dislike how slow she moves, and that you cant access the map until youve walked to the very edge of the screen. Even then, sometimes you cannot get the icons to pop up the way you need them to. She has to be in a VERY specific spot for you to be able to access the map, or move to the next screen. Along the same lines there are bugs where you cant close the tea encyclopedia book, or the steps to walk away never show up, so youre forced to shut the game down. Overall- these things have not stopped us from wanting to play the game, its a special idea that could definitely be expanded upon, and we can appreciate the simplicity for ages 4+ to be able to play.

Its such a cute game so fun but definitely too short, worth the money.

We bought this games as a recommendations off TikTok. We spent 5 dollars on it, trivial amount we know. But Im a broke college student that needs a good distraction. Im disappointed that it was such a short game. Theres a lot of possible ways they could expanded the game, give the main character money, maybe the possibility of opening a shop, starting a tea garden. We just think theres a lot they couldve added that they didnt. We personally dont think its worth the 5 dollars, but it was really fun.

We bought this game because it looked so cute, calming, and was about tea! Those things ended up being great parts of the game: we read through each page of the tea book and even learned some new things! But many aspects expected of a decent game were missing. Teacup moves so slowly and there is no way to change her walking speed. Movement sensitivity does not change speed, but rather how the character turns left, right, up, down. You have to be in a VERY specific location for the map to show up, plus the map isnt available in every area. It would be nice to have the constant ability to open the map, just like you can open the tea book at any time. There is not a quest log or any place where new information is compiled, so when we came back to the game we couldnt remember the information we had received the day before. This left us with no idea where to go next. We would actually like our money back for this game because it has been a waste of our time. We were really excited to play, but the things we mentioned above make it hard to enjoy the experience at all and leave us frustrated instead of calm.
