Community Insight:

Its a very cool game, we know it just released, but more levels and better physics would be cool, great game, we love it we also pre ordered it and think we were the first person to play it. We give it a 5 stars because it is fun. But we took a break from the game and came back, but now most of the weapons and tools are just guns, please add back axes and more hammers.

Ok not gonna lie, good game. BUT 5 things, Firstly, we are sick of constantly turning our screen to look, maybe add 360 view? Secondly, Can you maybe add more weapons? Because there are only 5. Thirdly, can you make free play an option? Fourthly, can you make it so we can make our own map instead of playing the same ones? And fifthly, of course, THE ADS. Every single time we click 2 buttons, an ad appears. So maybe remove them.

Its a fun game the detail is great as are graphics but it has major issues. We cant get past job 17 because there isnt one and no way to go back and toy with previous levels so itll sit uselessly on our phone till the issue is resolved. The mini gun is available but doesnt work says no ammo and no way to get any. It has a tendency to freeze or let you look at what job you want but sometimes its just a blue block and freezes up. The highlight are even though there are ads their placed well enough they dont interfere with the play time which is a first for us lol. The controls are a little rough but do work and the buildings are generally really fun. We just wish there were more levels and that the other 2 issues would be resolved.

So last year, the mobile studio Mighty games released a game called Destroy the House. And it was probably one of our favorite games of all time (we made a review on it 3 months ago so you should go check it out if you havent already)! And in May of 2023, they announced a sequel to it called Tear down the city. So of course we were really excited and its probably our second most anticipated game of the year (behind Super Mario Bros Wonder). And even better, it was available to pre order. So, on May 16th, we preordered the game and it said that it would release on 6/10/23. So, we eagerly waited for the games release and we mostly killed time by playing Lord of the Rings: Gollum on our PS5 until the game finally released. However, that was a month ago, and we completely forgot about the game. So it was about June 20th that we went onto our IPad and for some reason the game didnt install. We went onto the appstore and it said that the game got delayed to 8/1/23 . As you could probably imagine, we wasnt happy about this. BUT, as of writing this review, this morning, we turned on our IPad and the game was installed. We were never more excited in our life! Apparently, Mighty Games accidentally sent us an early access of the game a month before the games launch. So, Im gonna do a before you download review since this game is technically not out yet. The performance of the game surprised us. While the first game only ran at 4K and 60fps, this one ran at 8K and 120fps, which is actually really impressive for a mobile game! Although, one complaint we have is that while the first game was freeroam, this one is divided into Lanier missions. BUT there is still a lot more to do in this game than the first one. For example, we were really surprised with the weapon selection. While the first game only had like 5 weapons, this game has so many weapons that they added variants. Also this game has firearm, which is something that the first game cannot say. The level design is also impressive, it feels like they put a lot of effort into designing all of the stuff you can destroy. While in terms of maps we do prefer the first games more open world, at least the developers are trying to make this as good of a sequel as it can be. Unfortunately the sound design is recycled from the first game, but thats a problem we can get over. But something we CANT get over is the amount of bugs Ive ran into. This game can be very glitchy at times and sometimes the game will even crash. But we think that just has to do with the fact that Im playing this game a month before its confirmed launch. Also, this game is kind of like another game that we played before called Minecraft because there are no physics. There are even cars in this game!!! Something Ive wanted since the first game!!! But one annoying feature is that there are some items that can only be destroyed by a certain weapon variant. Like you can only cutdown trees with the axe which is a little stupid. Also, we wish there were more levels. But something that makes up for all of the issues with this game, are the buildings, specifically the houses. They are twice as big as they are in the first game and there is so much more to destroy. In the original, you cant even go inside of the houses, but in this game, not only are there houses, but there are also offices, and you can basically destroy everything, and even go inside of them. The only problem is, unlike in the first game (where you can tear down any house you want) in this game, you can only break into one house per level, which is the main reason why we didnt like the linearity of this game. This game also has no ads meaning that the creators are mostly going to make money of of microtransactions but hey Ill take it over the annoying amount of ads in the first game. So, in conclusion, is destroy the house 2 better than the first game? For now, Im gonna say no. While yes this game does do a lot of good things to improve of of the original, we dont know, it just feels like theres something missing. But like we said, Im just playing the beta. So once this game FINALLY releases on August 1st, Im sure all of the issues will be fixed. Im also hoping that this game gets improved over time. And Im sure that with updates that this game could eventually become a masterpiece of a sequel that will be better in every possible way than the original. We highly recommend that you guys download this game next month, and who knows, maybe youll enjoy it! Im sure this review will age very quickly so when this game finally releases, we will make another review on the full game in September probably so see you then.

We love the game and we wasnt expecting it to have good physics but when we started playing we were like OMG this is a really good game we love the physics.

Its a good app and we see what their trying to do, needs some improvements but all in all, great day one release.

Its fun but not realistic make it more realistic but still satisfying.

This game prolly gonna be mad good.

It just came out so we have high expectations for this game to be good if its anything like the pc version so if you make us proud Ill give you the 5 star goodluck.
