App works as it should – great for making adjustments while trackside. Easy interface to fine tune the control of your Tekin products. NOTE: If you have any issues connecting to a new esc be sure to calibrate first.
The UI could use just a little help. Sometimes the number your setting on a setting is hidden by a bar up top. If all the sliders/UI where bumped down to center the screen instead of being on top it would fix it. Also string a + – button for fine tuning would set it off. Other than that add the dataloding to the app and this is best in class.
Its ok it works but u would think they would fix that u cant read the settings because they are to high on the screen and are cut off, other than that we would of given 5 star it just frustrating.
The app does not accurately read our ESC settings and does not accurately apply new settings. NOT reliable on race day and we always revert to hooking up to a laptop for accurate and reliable use. App does not render correctly on our iPhone 11 and it chops off critical setting information from view. Needs an update badly. Revamp the app and Ill be happy to change our rating. Till then, we recommend to all our team mates to stay away from the Bluetooth on iPhone and use a laptop for serious tuning.
When will you update the app to work with version 208? And wouldnt you update the app before the new software version was released.
- Active drag function cant be controlled by app 2. Throttle Minimum doesnt function correctly. The highest value we can set is 20 out of a possible 30. If we set a value from 21 to 30, the app sets a default value to 3 This is with a Tekin Rs white esc.
Does NOT work with v280 eliminator firmware in esc… No responses from tekin and removing posts on Facebook asking questions…. Still no update for saving profiles or others with new firmware for over 3 months.
Im very disappointed with the Tekin folks, their products is top notch and very expensive but this app needs a lot work, for starters the app has not been updated in over a year, when you open the app stuff looks out of place like the image Im looking at is too big for our phones screen and the app is not compatible with their newest esc software (280) so if youve updated your esc to their latest esc software be ready to only be able to make changes to your esc on a pc. We hope an update is coming out soon for us app users.
Does not recognize eliminator update v280 on app.
We just got this and Bluetooth functionality of the HW is very disappointing since the mobile app doesnt even support our latest esc software. Whats the point in this.
With the latest update it now connects with the RSX Pro. Unfortunately it doesnt work well. Changing one parameter somehow makes automatic changes to other unrelated parameters. Makes it impossible to set it to your preference.
Works well with our Spec mode esc but whenever we try to connect our RSX Pro is says we need to update the app on our phone but there is not an update available.
The app works perfectly. Much faster and easier to navigate compared to the Hobbywing WiFi. Would be nice to see max ESC and motor temps.
Tekin has once again proven to be a leader in technology. This app is awesome and really allows you to tune your vehicle while on the track. No more waiting for the next round of practice. No issues reported and works like a champ. Easy to use and setup.
Works flawlessly! We have multiple HotWire3.0's and can easily transition from one to the next. Very simple to use with no problems.
On our iPhone 7 we are not able to program Custom 1 and 2 timing profiles. If we select Custom 1 profile it loads TP1 as spec stock, but we are able to select CP2 and all parameters are there? Android does not do this on our wifes Galaxy S7.
Works as advertised, but does not show current settings when not connected. Once you disconnect, it shows defaults, we guess, but not the settings just applied.
As a long time Apple user, the new Hotwire 3.0 BLE now allows us to quickly and easily make setup changes right from our phone.
Long awaited, app works great and is easy to use. This is a great addition to the tekin line of products.
