The gameplay, online engagement, and upgrade path is exceptional. BUT, they try to force you to add in-game currency with real currency showing the money hunger of this company. Also, there is an in gane glitch when a video pops up as you are playing which causes unresponsiveness with your ability to return shots. Overall the game is very good but ive only experienced to major flaws in which they were stated above.

A great game but annoys when you open a bag and get eg 5 epic cards or 5 player cards the game gives you one and wonder what happened to the other 4. Please fix it its annoying.
We lost every match and there is no way to win.
Not sure how players are to score if serve is made and point scored without anything happening on screen. Unable to connect to server is more often than not, but oddly enough, every other app we have connects like a charm. Im losing interest in even trying once a week. Used to be fun but not so much anymore.
Rigged to get you to spend money.
At least one a month we spend money $20 on this game because we enjoy playing it. 2 things you have to fix now: 1) the matching of competition is not good. You are not put against someone with same trophies or stamina so its not fair. 2) when playing foreign players the Wi-Fi connection if not good , the game lags and The point will freeze up and Ive lost games because of this issue. The ball bounces and then hesitates. The game should not play and go through. Our Wi-Fi is excellent and this should not,happen every other game.It wastes your coins and trophies. Please fix ASAP!!! Every month there is a new change about the coins that you can earn that everyday is less and less, the trophy path is a joke, you win a few and then you loose more than a double you earned, the tickets to play the ace academy game is being increased every week for you to buy more with your own money, all the games including the tournaments for you to gain cards, strings and gems are designed the same way, you never win more of what you have already invested. We love this game but we cannot afford to spend more money in it anymore.
We had this app once before and now we remember why we deleted it. It has connection issues. During a match it randomly says we lost WiFi connection and then we lose consecutive points costing us the game. We dont have connection issues with any other games and Ive checked our WiFi in our home. Ive noticed our opponents showing connection issues as well, causing them to lose against us from time to time. What gives? When it works correctly its so fun and the graphics are great, but in seriously about to delete this game again because this connection glitch is terribly annoying.
We like this game but note to the developers, please fix this annoying bug which keeps confusing by finger trying to play a shot with trying to close the app (use the app drawer to go to home).
The game is fun but pretty soon you find yourself in a rut. Unless you want to spend money youd have to play for the next 3 years to level up slightly past where you start off at.

For the love of god add some settings controls for gameplay volume and to turn off the background music! So many times we would play this game but we dont because we cant also listen to our music while playing it.

This game is fun. We like the aspect of the play on it. But its too slow, we feel like they make it hard to progress without buying in game purchases. Which is unfortunate. We quickly lost interest and deleted the game. Oh well.
We like this game a lot but not the fact that we need to have 20 million coins to upgrade everything just so we dont go 0-7 every game. And also PLEASE get rid of the advertisements it literally gets in the way of the gameplay.
Just another game that is pay to play to improve. Mismatch levels and limited to 50% win percentage.
There is no reasonable chance of winning a match unless you have opted for the expensive string choices. Half the time we're not sure whether we are playing a bot or an actual person. It is highly unusual that your opponent is constantly putting shots perfectly on the line for the win. We think the game is very frustrating in that way. So in summary, plan on paying about $10 a week minimum to have a 30% chance against some bot.

This game is fun, but developing your player(s) strengths & attributes are also fun, but expensive to keep advancing. There doesnt seem to be an algorithm that matches you with similar players; you can play characters wildly more advanced than you, loose all your coins/gems and have to spend more money to play. As for the glitches, even with a stable Wi-Fi network, the game resets or locks up. For example, it locks up before the game starts, and eventually defaults us, so we loose the game, points & coins without playing. It also does this strange thing where we hit a ball, it clearly is going in, then the ball pauses near the end of its trajectory & skips out of bounds. It also resets mid points, so we either lose the point or our next hit goes wildly out of bounds. Im a huge tennis fan, so before you spend a lot of money on this app, check out some of the other ones.
It's just not a game, make a normal playable game. Most of the area of the ball's impact is in the field, and the ball is flying out, it's stupid. Make a normal selection of opponents, it is simply impossible to play with such a selection as it is now. The selection is very unbalanced.
It is a really good game but hard to make it to the next tour.
Ive been playing for almost 5 years now but not happy with the latest updates and bugs that keep coming up. High agility and stamina seems to dominate over power of shot. And the screen keeps minimizing at times when we swipe during a rally and we get kicked out of the application. Then it takes almost a minute to let us back in and Ive lost 3-4 points in the process. Not pumping anymore money into playing this game. At this point, Im just looking to use up all the good strings we have left (except for the nylons obviously) and then permanently delete it. Its been a fun ride but its time to end it.

Matchmaking and mechanics are manipulated to encourage spending. Its unfortunate because there is potential for the game to really be quite enjoyable, but looking at the overall gameplay and success, as someone else already said, it really is 10% tennis and 90% spending. The game pairs you against stronger opponents when they're on a winning streak, making it harder to progress without spending money. It also favors certain players by making their shots faster or more accurate, even when both have similar stats. There are often instances where your opponent's movements seem faster or unaffected by lag. There is a massive advantage for players that pay, as upgrading gear significantly impacts performance. However even at that, the in App prices are very, very high. The return for what you spend is very small compared to other mobile games. The game definitely is designed to encourage spending and there seems to be some hidden handicaps.
This makes us want to play tennis in real life!!,,and get other people involved in tennis in real life.

It takes forever to level up anything.
We used to play this game when it was easier to practice, find ppl on your skill level, etc. Now things have changed for the worse, the tours are harder and harder to win, its hard to even find out where to practice, the opponents are rude, and the tour caps dont make any sense. We def hate this version and wish it could go back to the old version.

Dont play this game unless your willing to fork over 49.99 39.99 29.99 for items that wont upgrade your player or their equipment. No what you need is $440,000 for that but problem is they only give out 200 coins per win so good luck with that. Tournaments slow down your play and slams take a collective of your players stats. Im a paying player and its to expensive for us so good luck.
Very fun. You develop your characters. You can use just one, but eventually if you want to advance u you out trophy collection, you need to develop other characters that you have unlocked. This can be costly, but you will maintain the skills. The objective is to rank high in whatever league your in for example beginner one. If you do well and are say in the top 20, then next week youll be beginner two. Levels increase weekly! Miss a week or two and you go down a league, or two, depending how many weeks you dont adavance. Then when you decide to play again, your matched with beginner people who have not developed any player and you whip their butts with ease they become discouraged and probably quit lol! Dont let that bother you just keep playing, opening bags etc. Other tips, YouTube will help. THIS is what we had to figure out on our own hopefully it helps you. Have fun.

So like Im playing and it matches us up with real people who are actually just bots and can hit it hard and never miss so its rigged, like what.
Game play isnt bad, but highly repetitive. Doesnt seem to be an effective way to level up your character unless you want to drop money non-stop on the game, making character progression almost non-existent.
Stop predetermining the matches! Stop matching us with guys with 70 serves and forehands you cant see. Why does our player dives all the time and the opponent doesnt? Whats with all the line shots by our opponent? You dont spend money you dont win. Ive lost 18 straight matches due to this. We love the game but buying rackets doesnt change a thing. The attributes of our player almost never update. Im always updating the ones we dont have. Come on man, show us so love! Why our player running in molasses? Make some real updates! Im winning rallys and our opponent gets the points. Really.
We are tired of playing the same game over and over since we deleted this game in 2020 and we decided to come back to it and it was the same as thing and everything, only new characters.if Im going to be honest Id prefer the version 5 years ago please make it his game better get better developers or something and stop making this game a money grab because this is what this game is unfortunately.
This game has its moments, but its very unbalanced as to the force behind each player and who pairs you with its a little bit maddening, whomever created in program this game has a lot of fixes to do.
Ill give it 2 stars because we play a lot. It coulve been the greatest game but its so frustrating. Mobility is terrible, our character moves in slow motion and its absolutely impossible to reach a ball 5 meters away. But the opponent moves like the Flash an can easily cross the whole court in half a second. Then theres the magic : If you play a great serve or shot and the opponent is far, the ball gets stuck in the air, waiting for the opponent to come and hit it. Then theres opponent can slide accross the whole court in half a second to hit the ball, harder than a serve youre actually playing super heroes, moving 10 times faster than Roger, hitting 10 times harder than Rafa, but your character moves in slow motion mo, keeps stumbling Well it could have been a great game but its too frustrating oh and btw its also a money grab but we dont even mind that.
We have, yet, another fixed game in which opponents are randomly selected, but not based on similar levels. This is their way of trying to force players to spend money to upgrade their players. Our company works with countries to ban such games. So far seven countries, with more following, have banned this game. A list of the names of all those who worked on this game have been provided. These people will be denied entry into these countries unless a fine is laid for promoting such games.
