The only problem is if you are playing the max you will not get free spins as often.
We can play this for hours on end. We usually play in landscape mode so we can blitz through the game easier. I've noticed that when you're down to you and another player at a table, if you are the small blind and you call the big blind, the opponent will usually do a moderate raise (depending on their chip count) and 99% of the time, they're bluffing. We just wait until we have a good hand in this situation, call the big blind, wait for them to do their thing, and go all in. They run off like a beaten puppy every time. It's like clockwork, almost too easy. The bluffing in this game is probably more than most of us would see in real life.
So I've been playing for about two month now. We enjoyed the variety of games offered and as a beginner the game gave nice rewards to build your chip count. But once you get towards the upper ranks the winnings become less frequent and the high chip count you had dwindles away. Whether you bet big or with minimum bet, your guaranteed to lose it all. Too many spins with zeros and the ones you do win are less then what you bet or slightly above. I'm still giving the game a chance because it helps us on our daily commutes to work but it's annoying to grind up to a few million for hours just to see it all go away in a few minutes. update we downgraded from 2 star to 1 because there have been no changes and pretty much everyone we come across the game tells us how good it was before and how bad it is now.
You can play, but it's not possible to tap players to see stats or bios, and you can only adjust bets by 5 dollarsan awful thing when you're betting 500.

We updated after playing version 1.0 to the newer 1.1 and we can't stand the new cards. The cards looked great before and now they don't look good at all. Really disappointing. What was a great game, has been tarnished somewhat. We are going to see if there is a way we can revert back to the older version. We might lose our statistics and accrued winnings in the process, but we really dislike the new cards.
We havent played Poker before this and we are loving it. Seeing NPCs tells is also interesting, only issue is you cant always check, but that is no reason to give it any less than what this game deserves!
This app is a complete joke. The stats are rigged, for example if you look at the "total winnings" if the player hasn't played that day or isn't in a low level the number will be 4, 294, 967, 295 how could that be an accurate stat? Some days are lucky but most are not. All spins and in game bonuses are predetermined. We have reached being a billionaire 2 times in the same week but have lost those billions in a matter of a few hours of playing and not always betting max. Many players spend hundreds of dollars to keep playing, hourly bonuses are small (even if you spend thousands on the app the 30 minute bonus is only about 110k, bonus collections from the Facebook page are only 40-50k which if you are broke from losing means you will need to purchase one of their high priced packages or play an extremely low table. If it wasn't for the people I've met on there and play daily with this app would be deleted.
Not a bad game overall, but the players are pretty predictable once you've played it for a while. Our big question, given that this is an APPLE game, is how in the heck has this not been optimized for the iPad yet? It does't seem like there is probably a very good reason for this except for sheer laziness from whoever is in charge of development of their own apps. Get cracking!!!

We’ve been playing this game daily for about one year. With the daily bonuses, you can play every single day without spending any money.
I've played this APP since way back with ACE Casino. With the BigFish purchase, things were still OK. With the Churchill Downs purchase, it's gone to hell in a hand basket. I've spent thousands. With every purchase, the chips were taken back quicker each time. Most recently, $100 gone in 10 minutes! Plus they eliminated HoldEm tournaments, which gave us some reason to still play. Billionaires must not buy… We have, but lose everything almost instantly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! Unbelievable Corporate Greed. All these positive one line reviews are fake. We finally asked them to block our account so we no longer waste our time, energy, and money on this despicable BS App! I'm now saving enough money monthly to make a car payment on a new car… Awesome! Luck has nothing to do with this App.
We enjoy playing this app. If you hold the screen vertically, you see video cycle through each player as it goes around the table. If you hold it horizontally, it zooms out to view the entire table (no video) and displays all of the info for each player. The game also supports multiple iPhones/iTouch in the same game, each with its own perspective, via WiFi. Relative to other pay apps, $5 seems a bit high for what it is and what it delivers (hence it gets 4 stars instead of 5). $3 would have been a better match between price and features. Its hard to convince friends to purchase (for head to head play) at $5 when they are used to $1 apps and FREE apps. I'd like to see Apple update this app to take advantage of the increased CPU and graphics performance in the 3GS.
Game keeps crashing when in landscape mode and using VoiceOver.
First, for all you that sit staring at your phone waiting for a room with people… It is Ad-Hoc. Meaning you need other people on YOUR wi-fi network, it's not Online multiplayer. Get it? Also, ours has never crashed?? It goes into a stutter or slow-mo a few times but that's all. We have the 16G 3G if that matters?? As far as the game play or AI goes… I'll call it, different or unique. We can bluff and win so we doubt the comp knows the cards. It is strange that they bluff and call our final bet when we have the win and they have nothing?? Also, the tells are interesting and the players all play different. Some you can bully and some bully us. Overall, very fun game. Once you learn how to play Hold Em'….. Apple style?????
Okay… For five bucks you think… If it's not the greatest we haven't lost that much…. So we tried it out… This game is so fun. We usually get bored really quick with games for mobile platforms but this game is soooo worth $5. If we knew that the games on here that cost $10 were as good as this one I'd buy them. And, if the games that are $10 were $5 I'd probably buy them just to try them out… But $10 is too much unless you are really sure it's good. For $10 there should be demos or just charge $5.

We like this game for the most part. The new update enlarged the cards so it's much more visible to see. It would be nice to put in your name or a nickname for the player and if the computer players had voices calling your bluff or talking smack it would definitely get a 10. This game has a briliant concept but is missing a few things. To start, the videos to the players are sort of cropped slopily. Second, few of our friends have a touch or iphone and non have this game, therefore it needs to have worldwide multiplayer support. Lastly, when getting a call we sometimes freezes if some 1 calls in the middle of a game. Thats all the cons we can scavage for. Otherwise, Apple did an incredible job on their first legit iPhone game app. Congrats!
We’ve been playing for a little over six years now, black jack Casino is our choice for this type of game, Not only are the graphics spectacular and anytime we’ve had an issue customer service are very kind and quick to respond, never had a problem. You can spend as much or as little as you want or not spend atall and enjoy hours of fun playing, you will meet so many nice people from all countries and walks in life. Truly a joy to play!! We are curious why Apple never gave opportunity to feature social poker apps but have its own app this option? Thats monopoly for sure! Who is next? Blackjack from Apple on main page? Zynga should think about it and ask their lawyers to be ready if it would happen.
Love love playing challenging slot games and getting huge bonuses. Just dont like the many forced interruptions to watch other game videos at random.
Black jack prides itself on mimicking a real casino except its slots are even tighter. They make it clear that they expect you to buy chips in order to play. Even the VIP players complain about skimpy bonuses & not receiving their bonuses on time. Most everyone we know has deleted the app & moved on. We will be doing the same. There are so many complaints that they posted guidelines to boot you if you complain too often. In the fun scatter rooms, it allows people to spin 1 line and squat making the round take 45 minutes or so to complete & then they get an equal share after the rest of us have lost millions to produce a nice pot for all. Game needs a block button so you don't have to play with those squatters & 1-liners. Game promotes squatters by punishing those who spin quickly. If you wait 13 seconds or more between spins, you are more likely win something, even if it's not much.
We read all of the great reviews and wanted to add our own because this game deserves it. It has great graphics and gameplay. It plays faster as you get familiar with the game with easy finger moves for " chips all-in" or " folding". The AI is good and the other characters are realistic players. You can even select your own character from a vast selection of "playable characters". Well worth the $5.

This casino App has a great selection of different Slots and the payouts are generous. The only fault would be the constant pop-ups in the beginning for the deals for coins.
Ridiculous… Part of their scam, unless its a glitch that only we experience, is that it takes chips from your bank as you play. We were up around 2 billion and had a bad run. Had 800mil left so we jumped on higher stakes and left 200 mil in the bank. We eventually noticed that we only had 91 mil on top of what we had on the table. Finally hit a double up that had a total of 1billion. Not less, if anything a few million over. The stack that came back to us from the all in was only 991million for some reason, so we quickly left. Our bank is now 991million. All of the 200 million has gone. We had noticed this in the past, but never actually knew for sure. After checking this time it now makes sense. Texax just wants your money, so dont even bother. Its a shame they bought out that gin rummy app. Will start happening there, too. Even more proof will be that there will not be an apologetic response, or any response, to this review.
We play this game a lot in single player mode against the iPhone. It never crashes with the update. The graphics are unbelievable. Our only complaints are that it's tricky to go all in when playing in birds eye view and that the players tend to be unrealistically aggressive. They rarely play tight if at all. We have learned to beat this game by going all in and bluffing more than we do with other hold'em games. It doesn't always work, however, that's why we keep playing.
We read the 1 star reviews but, for some reason ppl are rating it 5 stars. So we figured out that the Dev is deleting 1star, yet the work around is by submitting 5 star with a 1 star negative review of this game.
