It has many glitches. Pay for stuff with game points and has not gone through. Loss of game cash and no progress. Stuff that is supposed to reset does not. Could be fun but need more work to fix glitches.
Update: our initial review was on 5/16 after we began experiencing a problem with the game not loading. We contacted the support email and was basically told just wait for an updatewell its been over 2 weeks and we still cant get the game to load and theres still no update to fix this problem. We wouldnt recommend even downloading this game with all the problems it has & the developers not seeming to do anything to correct the problems. – So we’ve had this game for a couple weeks or so and at first we were really enjoying it, but now its becoming frustrating. The storage capacity of the barn is just too small and we can hardly obtain enough supplies needed to expand form our steam ships (which take nearly 5 hours to return, but never bring enough bricksor glass for building). Also our settlers need so many items that we cant obtain/produce to progress their wagons along the trail. Its hard to keep up with getting the production buildings because you first have to be able to build the city buildings to increase your population capability (which takes supplies we never have enough of); then you have to build the housing for the increased population (which takes so much time); then you can finally try to buy & build the production building (but have to hope that you can grow/obtain the resources required to make the actual product). Right now Im on level 25 (or maybe 26) & our steam ship requires a dish called Beans & Bacon available to produce in the diner at level 25however in order to actually produce that dish we have to grow potatoes, which we cant do until level 30 (makes zero sense & our ship will be at a standstill for who knows how long). It is also frustrating trying to continue to clear land for additional growth & building. Each little plot requires more coins, more population & more tools, but yields no return of supplies after clearing the plot (no wood from the trees that disappear and no clay or rock from clearing the groundlike you would in real lifeplus our shovel and pickaxe must be the absolute worst ever made because we only get to use it that one time, rather than keeping that tool for further use like you would in real life). Plus now we cant even get the game to load so that we can try to continue playing. We tried to contact app support but that takes us to a page that doesnt even list this game so we can report the issue. Guess we’ve broke down on the Oregon Trail & dying of frustration.
We were having fun playing and then the game decided to just stop. The tutorials take over and tell us to click right under the message they sent telling us to click, making it impossible to click. Saw an update today so thought maybe it fixed the issue. Updated it and the opening screen now says congratulations you have won all the trophies and will not clear the message making the game even more unplayable. Bad bad bad.
We love this game but the last two days our game has been stopping. We tried deleting it and it erased all our gameplay. Now we’re starting all over and still experiencing issues.
This of course is not like the original but is fun for hours of gameplay.
Awesome game and you actually get to use your materials and its not a pain.

Almost everything that we buy disappears. Land, Hospital, and Livestock. This is an overall great game, but can you please fix this.
Only thing right now that would make it better is if we could play on both our phone and iPad. We tried to start it on our iPad and was going to link to Apple games in hopes we could carry over our town but it just gave us a error code.
We bought buildings and then now there no where to be found on our land and cant move forward in making things an they were build an disappeared.
We love playing this game, but the new challenge in the game wont respond when it asks you to touch to continue we have tried to close and reopened the app and still wont respond to the request. We are on level 18.
Liked playing it. Didnt get too far, we got the mill to make flour and the game bugged out. Says we have the mill but it is not on our map & wont let us delete profile to start over.
The game is fun but it froze for 4 hours and we had to start over.
Love the game but, every time we sign on, we have to reconnect our account, plus buildings that we have already built we cannot find anywhere (even in the store/warehouse) so quests cant get completed which doesnt help. Please fix :)
We keep having items disappear from our inventory, additionally, we saved the 5000 coins to build the trading post and now our coins are gone and he trading post is not built!
Has the potential to be a good game but is too buggy at the moment. Whats the point in playing if you keep losing progress due to game glitches?
Other games we have played have a link inside the game to reach out about issues. If there is one in this game, we cannot find it. We havent been playing long, and as others have mentioned- this game has great potential. We have used the trash feature quite often as sometimes the townspeople request items we do not have the ability to make. It seems that some of the buildings are almost impossible to get. Glass is a rare item yet required on every build. An extra steamboat is 8000 coins. Coins are also required to plant crops and send trading post wagons, so difficult to accumulate. Warehouse seems small for the items required. Our big complaint at the moment is we cant visit friends. It acts like it wants to and then freezes in the clouds. The only way past is to exit the game. That has fixed the issue on other parts, but not with visiting friends. So much potential, not sure if it is worth the aggrevation.
We really like the game and like the upgrade from years ago until today when we remember why we got rid of the app. Our progress was erased last night. We tried looking for a help button or ways to contact them within the game. Couldnt find. Trying to give them a little more time but FIX IT!
We usually dont write reviews but we have built the ours three times and we go back and it asks us to rebuild it even though we have and its not just a reset because the resources dont come back. The map is always in a far off corner for no reason. When you send resources to the trail it either comes in blank or says there is something can fulfill and you cant. That whole pop up feature is bugged. Besides the bugs- the resources needed to complete buildings are not readily available even when you are completing the tasks to get those. They are common building but yet not common or easy to get. Im not far into the game and its become impossible to advance between the bugs and the scarcity of common materials.
We have been trying to get past level 7 but every time we try to load item to sell, the Jim icon pops up and blocks the box the we need to hit ( ask for help) . We cant move the icon! Help.
Like everyone else it started out to be a very good game. But then it freezes so much that you cant play. All the other things that people say about the game is so. But its the fact that you cant play if it keeps freezing up. It would be a good game if that was not the case. So this game is been frozen for two days. Im not going to put much energy in this games anymore.
We love the idea of this game but it has some rough edges. To finish getting the wagons to Oregon you need things from the trading post. But the things you need arent there. And now the trading post wont even open. So youre stuck with a bunch of wagons en route with no way to supply them. We keep looking for a bug fix but so far nothing but frustration.
Could be a fun game, the developers must fix the bugs for that to happen. -Bug with incorrect number of items. (Says we have 3 wheat, go to craft cow feed, and it says we only have 2 and have to buy the remaining 1). Barn count is off by 1 as well. -Bug where progress isnt saved. Will plant/start crafting something, close the game, come back a few minutes later, and the item isnt there anymore. -The entire friend system is a mess that needs an overhaul. -Number of items needed for building, and what you receive on the ships need to be looked at. Im so far behind with building waiting to be finished because we cant get any of the build items we need.
Your tutorial guides lay over action buttons so you cant move forward in the game. Fun until you cant play anymore because there are no areas on the screen to touch in order to move forward.
We used to love playing the old Oregon Trail games. The way you could track the trail and thats the only way this game get successful in the future so please try to fix the problems and include something like we said to make the game fun and separate from other games.
We really liked this game.. We got to level 15 and now its frozen. We see the people moving but the rest wont load or allow movement. So disappointed.
We’ve got an iPad Mini, so this problem may just be with that device. The app forces a tutorial on how to ask for help loading a crate on the steamboat, but the narrative overlays the ask for help button, and you cant do anything. Game was fun up to that point.
This game immediately caught our attention due to its likeness to Township. As we started playing it seemed like a really cool concept and we were excited to progress (got to level 20). There are a few game breaking issues we noticed (in order): 1. The materials are the biggest factor to why Im not going to continue. To build your barn and houses to get more settlers, you need materials. Thats fine. The issue? Youll probably NEVER get these materials at a decent pace. You get two ships and they eventually start taking at LEAST 4 hours to come back. And they rarely ever bring you stuff you ACTUALLY need. This means you have a ton of unfinished buildings just sitting there and you cant get the new factories because you cant built the houses. You cant build the houses, because you cant finish building your community building. This is a mechanic that exists in other games, but this feels AGGRESSIVELY tedious in this game. 2. The orders on the board will ask for items you cant even make yet. One example is getting lemons from the trade route, however you dont even unlock a new trade route that supplies these until much later in the game. 3. The materials it requires to make certain items seems almost impossible given issue number 1. Especially when it comes to the ours and smelter, how am we supposed to use 8 – 12 items in a smelter to make ONE bar but we cant even upgrade our barn to have enough space for this amount of ore, our crops, AND materials? There definitely needs to be a huge focus on rebalancing a lot of these systems throughout the game. 4. There is a lot of issues we have found when it comes to actually helping people. We give them materials, it says it gives us stars, then we log back in later and the games acts like that interaction never happened. Overall, we do think this game is going to be a great contender to some of the bigger guys, but boy is it a rough start. Its sad to see the friends we made in game just have a ghost town in 2 days. Im hoping this comment will help shed some light on issues that caused a fairly excited player to quit. If you are looking to play this game, give it a go but dont get too attached until the above is fixed. It will become a GRIND once you get past level 13ish.
The game is good but when you close out the app and open it later on in the day all your progress is not there from shipping containers not having your rewards crops not there to be harvest production and Mills for cow feed and chicken feed disappears and the inventory system is very tedious they give you more rewards than your barn can hold so you cant harvest nothing and you cant even ship out half the products that were given to you pretty much you just have to sell them would love to put more time into this game but with the constant disappearing of the progression, its not worth the time until fixed.
We have to keep deleting it and and load it cause it stop doing anything.
The new ours quest is freezing the game.
The biggest issue we have is not being able to talk to support. The game has a lot of bugs and glitches. Such as not receiving prizes for events. Tasks for money jump levels so harder to make progress. We understand that its a newer game app and bugs and glitches happen more often. But its really really Annoying when there is no way to get ahold of anyone to address them.
The game has a lot of potential, and when it works properly, we do enjoy it. However, there are countless bugs that are making the game virtually unplayable at this point. The first major bug we ran into was when we bought one of the production buildings. We were able to click on it once fully constructed and look at the products within it. But next time we opened the game, that building disappeared. We thought Id just have to go in and buy it again, but the game displays a check mark next to the building in the shop, indicating that we already own the building and cant buy another one of that type. So now there are products that the game wants us to frequently produce, that we literally cant make. Other buildings have also disappeared on us, to never return. While the other buildings arent as essential to game play, it is still incredibly frustrating to spend resources on their production, only for the building to disappear later on, taking whatever resources you put into it with them. We saw the production company of the app respond to some of these reviews with an email to contact. We gave that a shot a couple weeks ago for our missing production building, and all we got was a response that said they hope an update in the future will fix the problem :/ by the looks of these reviews, Im not the only one noticing the bugs in the game. We hope they fix this soon, or theyre going to lose a lot of their customers.
Id give this game a five star if we didnt spend most of the time trying to empty the barn. Give more space! Kind of cheap!
When we first found the game it was fun. Then between level 22-24 it froze and wouldnt load. We deleted it and ended up reloading it on our iPad and phone. We had to start over and go through the long tutorial. Again, we got between level 22-24 and it has done the same thing. We thought maybe it was our iPad but we see others in the review section that seem to have the same problems. We hope they can fix the issues and update the game so we dont have to keep starting over and over.
Game keeps saying we’re playing on another device… But we’re not. And it won’t let us play. We really like this game but losing our patience with this glitch.
We like the game, something happened to us in the game that we don’t understand, we collected up to 5000 money for the reconstruction of the trading post, and when we paid it, it deducted the money but it didn’t open that game option for me.
We like the gameplay and art style of the game very much. Would really rate this game 5 stars if it was so broken and limiting. The icons are constantly giving false info. The friends section is completely broken and we cannot even visit people without the game crashing. The warehouse limits us to playing for 5 minutes at a time because it is always full. The wagon gameplay feature needs reworking. These are things that can easily be fixed and will gladly change our rating once they are.
We really like this game. But we only made it to level 5 and it is stuck. We cant continue. We’ve tried everything to see if its our device but its the game. Please fix it. We really like this game.
Hello! We installed the game today and we enjoy it. We even spent money on the golden ticket. However, the ranking competition has begun and now our game is frozen. When we close out of the game and restart it, it will not allow us to do anything other then click on the competition. We had to uninstall the game and restart all over earlier. So this time we got to the same point with no complications and thats when we thought it was safe to purchase. Now we fear Ill have to uninstall the game and Ill lose our purchase. Can you get this fixed so we might be able to continue?!?
Problem 2. Having trouble connecting Support! We were having fun, until Problem 1. At the start of the last three day event, an unimportant structure vanished from our town. At the end of the Event that structure reappeared; But two other structures that are important vanished from the town. It is impossible to fill orders when Structures that produce products are taking unannounced sabbaticals.
