The positives first: this is a legit app. You absolutely can win money from it, and they do pay out, pretty much immediately. They had some technical issues that didnt surprise us as a new app, but great customer service in response. Aside from a couple minor things that are really just our preference (hate that you cant change your answer even if theres time left), we have two major issues: 1. The amount of entries they allow one user to purchase in a contest. We have answered every single question correctly on a quiz, placing fifth based on time, and did not win anything because the four people in front of us bought 75 entries between them Whats the point in even playing? 2. Some of these users seem to be bots, at least that is our assumption based on the speed of responses. We dont see how a person could physically be capable of answering 30 questions in 32 seconds, yet two did it in the same quiz. Significant drop back after that, with third place taking 45 seconds. The only thing we can think of is a bot. Again, why even bother at that point? Overall, we think the app is a great idea. Its definitely been fun to use. But considering the downsides Im not willing to put up our money to continue playing.
So we cant even bother to try this app because we made an account and it says we need to go to our email and open the link to verify it and make our account. Ok cool easy enough, right? Yeah right! We go to our email, open the link to verify our account, and all it does is give us an error. We try to log in with the credentials we made and it says we need to verify our account. We keep trying.. And trying.. And trying. And NOTHING. We get nowhere with it.
This game is a great idea in theory if it werent a total hustle. How do you place 58th when there is supposedly only 22 ENTRIES. The app glitches constantly and will mark the incorrect number of correct answers. Instead of taking down the game to try to fix it they instead let it rip off their users. The app creator is incredibly rude and refuses to acknowledge the people with complaints. Instead throwing insults. When you enter a contest you will get a perfect score yet beat out by someone with 20-50 entries, is that the scam no. The scam is playing multiple games where the number of ENTRIES not entrants is listed as one number that actually played. Then they blame it on your internet, even though you closed out the app multiple times and took screenshots over the course of a half hour. You will waste your money if you play this game. Bet.
We were very unsatisfied with this app every person on our contest had the same name and we lose like we think its rigged and would really like a refund.
The trivia question was so ridiculous Ill never play again.
Quick, easy, and a great variety of content! No zoom calls/ video like other trivia games we’ve played online and thats great for those with social anxiety! An easy-to-use app and gameplay interface. Only ten minutes out of your day to play one game of thirty multiple-choice questions (15 seconds to answer each); perfectly manageable for this mom of three at the end of the day! And we can enter multiple games at once because all of the answers transfer simultaneously. Who said knowing tons of movie trivia doesnt pay?
We lost money because it asked What did Monica dress up as for Halloween the year Rachel was Wonder Woman first of all, it was Phoebe. Secondly, she was SUPERGIRL. And third, the answer was bride instead of cat woman! Dont trust any other questions now. Have seen multiple questionable ones.
Was a cool idea, but has unfortunately succumbed to hackers and scammers. Multi-entry makes it so the top 100 spots go to just 6-7 people. The app also makes it kind of a trap to add and withdraw moneyonce you put it in to your account, they wont give it back unless you double it. Dont waste your time or money.
We entered a trivia and should of placed to win a pretty good cash amount. They had a glitch on their end and admitted it was their fault and we should have received more money. At first they said we would get our money. We didnt hear anything for a while so we reached back out, they said they couldnt give us the prize money anymore since the program already gave the prize money to someone else we would attach the conversation if the review would of let us. This is our first time leaving a review ever and we have deleted this app.
In the trivia contests especially Star Trek people use multiple entrys to steal all the top prizes. Its either bots, or faked. The app needs to limit 1 entry per user. Save your money dont get scammed. – updated after comment The developer replied to our comments. But the reality is.. Look at this following scenario. Trivia contest plays X places. If X places all pay to the same user it makes you app look like a scam. That means X mobile devices need the same ID to play under that same name. Also it could just be a bot. (How would you know or care.) As a developer myself when Multiple people report the exact same information and not just us. Sounds like a Ponzi scheme. Telling someone to not select that particular type of game is absolutely deflecting. If you really wanted to address the problem youd stop the behavior thats happening not deflecting. But hey you got 35 bucks from us good for you. Thats all you care about. Long story short how you tell people to download an unknown APK not from the play store and expect to remain a legitimate is beyond us. People using this on Apple need to know that your business model is horrid. And they have no way of knowing whether they are actually playing against others or its fake. 10 places that pay all to the same user need 10 devices to play. No we dont think so.
App used to be good. But now its the exact same people winning with perfect scores every single time no matter the category. Too many grammatically and factually incorrect questions. They also change the projected payouts literally minutes before. Save your money and time!
We have been waiting for something like this! This app is designed awesome and our husband and we love sitting and playing it. And there are rewards for winning so thats a huge plus. Game on!
This app is awesome! We have been able to make some serious side cash with this app! We are currently in-between jobs so this app has helped us out a TON! After winning trivia games on some of our favorite topics like Harry Potter, Friends, and the Office, we got our cash immediately (within SECONDS) and was able to transfer it to our PayPal (also within SECONDS) and then transfer it to our bank. Easy as pie! To anyone feeling worried that this app is a scam, its not. There are contests in which people can enter multiple times for more chances to win $$, which is not a bad thing in our opinion! Like we said, being able to enter these quizzes has helped us have a real side hustle that is fun and easy! Anytime there has been technical errors, the Trivia Bar team notified us immediately, and let us know they were working to fix it. And any time we contacted them they were quick to respond! We definitely recommend this app and our family and friends have been amazed that we’ve been able to make side cash doing this!
Im a movie buff and absolutely love this app. They are very good with customer service with any issues that occur and have a great variety of popular trivia categories.
What a fun way to take 10 minutes out of your day to tease your brain a little. We’ve watched every episode of Friends and we never thought it would come in handy. We’ve reached out to customer support with questions and they always reply within a few minutes. Its great!

These guys are really on their game. They come up with questions that are difficult, but legitimately so, no matter the subject. The app itself runs smoothly and is well designed, and the prizes are fair. If you have any problems at all, and send questions or concerns to their email, theyll get back to you in a timely manner, responding kindly and professionally. This is one of the only trivia games we’ve really enjoyed, but more importantly, its THE only one we’ve really respected.

Our girlfriend and we love this app and their trivia contest! Obviously some things needs to be worked out and things will only improve but any time we have had an issues with money or a contest they have always replied very quick on Facebook as well as refund if there was a problem. Great customer service.
We love it! The Office is our favorite show and they have tons of Office contests. You can go for the huge 10k, 20k, 100k contests and you can even try some FREE ones! There are lots of different categories so you’re bound to find something that you’re passionate about. We also really like that the app AND community is getting bigger and better. They are expanding into more categories and have been working hard to make a better user experience. There have been some small glitches/problems that they’ve fixed, which shows that they listen to feedback and really care about putting out a fine product. We even emailed them with a question and they got back to us in no time. We are so glad that we found The Trivia Bar!
We are really enjoying myself. Theres a good amount of different trivia challenges to choose from and we cant imagine how much itll grow as the app becomes more popular. We also really like how there are both free entry and paid entry challenges that way everyone can enjoy themselves.

We’ve played a few cash games on this app and enjoyed them all. Questions have appropriate difficulty level and games run smoothly 25 questions only takes 5-6 minutes. If theres one concern, there is a good deal of category repetition. If its not The Office, its Seinfeld, Friends, or Disney. Doesnt hurt to have more variety to intrigue new users. Keep up the good work!
The game overall is very fun and we enjoy the contest but it has MAJOR glitches that will make you lose out on the prize money the offer. You can answer 27/30 and the app will say you missed 10. Customer service is very helpful, which is great because it seems you will definitely need them.
App says you must deposit winnings to pay pal. Then wont let us deposit. Took email off app to email them and it wont allow us to send email.
This app allows people to play individual games with 10, 20, 30 entries. This just shoved down anyone else whos playing out of the money. Dont bother downloading this app and playing until they fix this loophole.
We won $500 and it was in our account quickly. Good questions, can be very challenging, have to respond quickly, but lots of fun! We really only excel at Harry Potter Trivia but have tried a couple of others. We like that there are some that are free to just get some practice in.
One of the best trivia apps there is. We have had very few technical issues. There is a good variety of games, could use a few more 90s games tho . Customer support is extremely responsive and helpful. And they pay immediately!! Highly recommend!

This is NOT a scam, dont listen to the other reviews. We love this trivia! Its so much better than the usual trivia apps. Im able to join contests based on topics that Im interested in. The format is user friendly and straightforward. We cant wait for this app to grow and add more contests! Part of the reason Im giving this app 4 stars is because of a contest we participated in last night. Even though we answered 28/30 questions right, the app said we answered 25/30. This seems like its been a regular issue with some contests, based on other reviews. The Trivia Bar people were immediately on the issue, communicated the problem to the players, and are still working on a solution. Aside from that, this app would be worth 5 stars. Its so much fun! A couple of critiques: we wish that one person couldnt enter 25 times. We understand the reasoning why multiple entries are allowed and we appreciate the other contests available that dont allow that, but the limit on the number of entries should be lower. We also wish the contests were listed when we clicked on a category. We’ve played a few Harry Potter tournaments and on the day of the tournament, there are an addition 5-10 contests available (that werent listed when we clicked on the category earlier in the week). Sorry for the long review, but this team deserves more than the crappy reviews theyre getting. Theyre doing a great job!
Fun trivia and inventive challenging questions! We like that there are different level trivia games to choose from too. A few tech kinks still being worked out, but overall really fun and promising! We like their idea about free on demand trivia games too, since there are hardly any out there like that!
We used to love this app and have won some money playing it. BUT, it gets old when the same people can enter 25 times and then you lose out on prizes because of it. We understand why they do it but it just doesnt seem far. Im going to try to find a different trivia app. Even if its just for fun and no money given. We feel like that would be better than this.
We just played a $100,000 trivia and we only missed one question, but at the end it said we only answered 18/30 correctly. It was a $30 buy in and we easily should have placed into a paying spot if not at the top as others 2nd and 3rd missed more than one question. Im beyond annoyed. The game seems rigged and inaccurate. We dont recommend. Hoping they can provide a valid explanation of what happened.
We signed up for the Harry Potter trivia and it said they were paying out the first 1300 spots, we were 1030th place and it randomly changed to only paying out the first 500. We lost out on $30. Dont waste your time/money!
We entered and played the Harry Potter Trivia. We got 26 answers correct and the app told us we only got 13 answers correct. It showed the answers we selected light up green to show we got them right! We ended up losing out on $65 (that was what all the other people that got 26 answers correct got). How can something like this happen in an automated app?? This app is a SCAM!!!
Not a fair trivia game. People have multiple entries for earnings pushing what place you actually come in. Not fair.
This seemed like a great idea at first. Customer service is super prompt. But unfortunately thats about all it has going for it. Our biggest problem? We only got 2 answers wrong on a game but it said we got 7 answers wrong; so now we’ve just missed out on potentially hundreds in prizes because of a glitch. Support said theyre working to fix it, but honestly looking at the other reviews we can see this issue has been going on since at least a month ago. Why, HOW, in good conscience they can continue putting games out when people are getting screwed out of money is beyond us. The $100K prize pools are super disappointing because they dont fill up so the top prize ends up being $3K instead of $10K. Its still a young app, we get it. But then why not make a smaller prize pool so it doesnt look SO misleading. What a let down. And lastly, the complaint many people have – unlimited (okay, the cap is FIFTY) entries. They say its because their user base isnt big enough so its a necessity. According to their fb they reached 30 thousand users a couple weeks ago. Honestly we think MORE people would participate if the multiple entry wasnt so extreme. Cap it at 5. Anyway. Deleting this now because why in the heck would we spend our hard earned money when correct answers ARENT RECORDED CORRECTLY.
Its a scam.. During a contest we counted that we got 27 out of 30 correct but it gave us a score of 23. Which put us just out of reach of a prize. Also with multiple entries it is impossible to win. Dont waste your money on it!

The game does not count your correct answers accurately. The company knows this and makes promises for refunds due to their systems error, then they make up excuses and never keep their word about corrections/refunds. SCAM SCAM SCAM. DO NOT PAY OR PLAY.
Lost out on a $700 win because even though we watch myself answer 28/30 questions correctly & watched our answers turn green it only gave us 4/30 correct therefore we just lost out on our entry fee. Fix your app if your going to rip people off.

We only seen this advertised a short while ago. And it was advertised to us as a greys anatomy trivia game. We love greys anatomy so we were immediately sold. We’ve won close to 100$ playing this. Its fun and it keeps us interested. We only ever bet money on trivia topics we know that we will do well on. Its 100% worth it!! Plus customer service is quick and reliable.
This app is going to be the best app of 2022. So much fun, and yes the layout is a little different than other trivia apps, but thats what makes it fun. The people giving bad reviews and saying scam are only saying that because they havent won. If you are into movies or TV at all, this app covers everything! Even music! We try to play at least a few entries each night and have won almost every time, even the times we dont do so well, we always end up with a little something. Just try it out and make yourself a little side change!
But The fact that they have multiple entries in multiple of 20 doesnt make it fun. The same person can win the first 20 prizes or you can place in the 100s when in reality you really placed 17th and should have won a prize. If the multiple entries were less than five, it could be more fun. If Im paying $25 to participate, Id prefer a fair chance at winning. This happened on multiple occasions therefore we are no longer using this app. They should offer free quizzes for people who just like to play trivia and not be forced to pay $25 to just have fun. If more free trivia became available we would consider re-downloading the app.
Questions are fun but the amount of times people can enter make it nearly impossible to win. Places 1-25 go to a single person because they entered the Max entry. Then so on. It makes it to where in a 1000 player trivia game of 50/50 with a max entry of 25 entries per person.. Really only 20 people win. Waist of money.
This is a scam site!! We played and the top 25 winners were all the same person! Response to developer: You should have a way we can respond to your message, instead you get to put a sob story up to make us look like a jerk. Our issue with ur game is not just the multiplayer win (which is our main issue) but also we didnt get credit for all our correct answers, we got 2 wrong and ur site said 4. Normally no big deal but this is for money and that needs to be investigated as to why we didnt get credit for our answers. Not that it would have made a difference, just principal, wonder if we got them all right would it have said we missed 2? Im not the only comment that agrees this is a scam, but you bury all the bad reviews! So this sob story had $300 ($25x 12) to play a trivia game, must be real bad off!
We love this app. We’ve been looking for someone to go to friends trivia with us and with this app, we dont need to go anywhere and we can play on our own! We’ve played in multiple rounds already and will continue to do so. It pays out real money and does so pretty quickly. Everyone should give it a try.
