Community Insight:

We know its supposed to be the classic version but we think a lot of the qol and smaller features from the main TT game should be added back such as a stock button and bitizens taking a minute off stocking/build timers. We also think the lack of golden tickets removes a lot of the replayability and sense of progression the main game has but it kind of defeats the point of a classic version if you add all this stuff so idk. Our last critique is that the game doesnt feel as smooth as the main game, it feels somewhat sluggish or has lower frames than normal TT which isnt a big deal but for 10 bucks it should be running as smoothly as normal TT.

We paid for this app again because we used to have it many years ago. We love it but Ive fully upgraded our elevator and now its just boring. Can yall do some updates or add more things.

Not sure if its a whole 5 stars yet because we just downloaded it 5 minutes ago. BUT Ive been waiting for this!!! Im a TT fan but in the evolution version Im a multi billionaire and so tired of ads. We said several years ago that we would be willing to buy the game outright instead of being rudely interrupted with ads. But that being said, we do understand that you guys needed to make money and the ads were one way to do so. Anyway with the new classic version Im going to need to gear down and lay off the purchase button.

We loved this game back when it came out. We were happy to learn that a classic version was out there! It is just as fun as we remember. Our only request is that they add the ability to send bitizens to friends for more of a group experience.

We remember playing this game as a kid and while some of the changes to the original game over the years have been good, it is no where near as good as this version. Some features may be missing as this is obviously an original version of the game but it does not disappoint. No in app purchases and no adds dosnt take away from the game, you can still add friends and the game is modified in a way that allows you to collect bux at a expedited pace but not in a way that feels blatantly hand holding. Overall its a very worth it game even in 2025 to consider, you wont be tempted to spend money beyond the 10$ price tag (though we do think that is a little spendy for a roughly 15mb game) but we did cough it up. We dont regret it either, the game makes us want to come back and keep playing in a way that is so satisfying and simple. Our friend code is 12GQ but the fun is in watching your own tower grow. Thank you for listening to our Ted Talk.

There should be a little bit more. Theres no reason we cant customize lobbies and roofs or at least have toggles to turn on different versions or settings for the game. This is the best version of the game because it ditches all the gross predatory freemium stuff that was added, but it can still be better by adding the good stuff that came with those changes.

No micro transactions, no ads, we love it. Highly recommend for someone who is 25+ and grew up playing this game. Only thing they need to add it auto elevator.

We like how they have a version of the old Tiny Tower. They have updated the heck out of the other one and we like the more simple layout, Im a pretty mundane person so this game is perfect lol.

Thank you so much Nimblebit for this premium version of Tiny Tower. As soon as we saw this, we immediately jumped on it. We love this game and Ive been playing it for too long. Its in our opinion one of the best tycoon games on a mobile device. That being said, this version of Tiny Tower is missing some small features. We want the waterslide rooftop for example. Or the ability to customize the lobby and pick our own paint colors. Small things like that. For $10, these are some really nice quality of life improvements that should definitely be included in the game. We love that we have a watered down version, but this feels extremely watered down. If you could just do some quality of life stuff, that would be great. Thanks again.

It's just like we remember it. We were so sad when the original changed.

Ive been playing Tiny Tower for years, and the game has evolved a lot since we first started playing it. Im really glad theyve released this version that is so similar to the version we played when we were younger. Its also nice not having all of the advertisements and in app purchases. This is more for people who want to play the game as it once was. Its much simpler than the modern version, but its exactly what Im looking for. The only thing is itd be nice if when a bitizen uses the elevator, it takes a minute off restock waiting time. Old versions of the game had this and it makes playing it more rewarding.

Played this when we were younger with our whole family and loved it. Missed the simplicity of classic tiny tower and so glad to see it back.

Its nice to have a paid version; however, could the tower view be a little larger so finding people for the tasks can be better seen.

We have been playing Tiny Tower for a while now, and we are super excited for the classic version to be back! This game is AWESOME.

Started playing TT around the time it was released and am still playing. Was recently thinking about how much it has changed since the original. Then Nimblebit releases TTC! Its such a blast to go back to where it all started.

We have been playing TT off, and on (mostly on) since it launched. Its great to jump in the time machine and play the original version of the game. We were actually reminiscing about what the game was like prior to a decade of upgrade when we discovered TTC. Nimblebit, you read our mind. Best IOS game ever.

Exactly what we wanted, a blast from the past without any lil transactions during gameplay!!! This is such a good game omg.

This is Tiny Tower how it was before all the freemium and gambling and distractions were added. That said, we wish theyd add the lobby customization, elevator upgrade separate from appearance, and golden ticket mechanics to level floors and bitizens.

Its fun and all but figuring out how to friend someone is a tad different and Im hoping that gets updated soon so we can add our girlfriend.

We absolutely love this game and we appreciate having the classic. However we would really REALLY appreciate it if it didnt stop our music when we open our app.

Very nostalgic to play this game in a simpler form. Only complaint is that its be nice to have a version on the App Store for android users </3.

We very much agree with what others have said, we need some of the features that were around in the old game before the recent addition of paid seasonal events. We need the feature of being able to restart the tower after reaching level 50 to get gold tickets that max the bitizen levels and make free and automatic restocks. We need the automatic elevator unlockable, we need the feature of when a bitizen is delivered to a floor we get one minute off the build time for each gold ticket. That made the game infinitely replayable.

We love the game, no ads, plays just like it used to. Only problem is that, at least on iPhone 16, the scaling of characters and some other images are very wrong because of the screen size. Most easily noticeable when bitizens are facing the right. Its not unplayable but it does really bother us, we hope this gets fixed, its the only problem we have with the game.

Totally appreciate a version going back to what we think is a much better game than what it has become now. However we would like to see some features that were added a bit later on in this one. Such as a minute being taken off timers when taken to floors giving more purpose to delivering people rather than hoping for a donation or apartment floor. Also things like customizing lobby and the roof. If those were here we think would be the perfect frozen in time game we could get.

This is slow and painfully boring. We want our money back. LAME.

Like many others, we have very fond memories playing this game when we were younger. Most of the new versions didnt seem to hold the same amount of charm, with half the screen being cluttered with notifications and events. Once we noticed there was a classic version, we were very interested. $10 seems pretty steep for a older port of a game that came out years ago, but we figured it was worth it purely on the nostalgia we dont think it is. The game itself has numerous graphical issues that have yet to be solved on the newer phones, yet the more recent games have the issues corrected. Characters look like they are having a stroke when they cross the screen, which is often very distracting. Ive been playing this game for a while, and it seems unreasonably difficult to earn bux in order to buy floor upgrades. A lot of quality of life features seem to be missing, although this can purely be due to those features being newer. All in all we hope Nimblebit dedicates more time to this app since it has the potential to be great, however at the state it is in is not worth the price.

Its great to have a classic option given how cluttered and ad filled the original version has become over time. That said, as many other reviews have brought up, theres been a lack of quality of life features that makes this version tedious, such as not being able to restock all floors in one go or the daily fireworks event. Theres also bugs such as the games audio pausing any other audio thats playing, like the Music apps, and the VIP icon being displayed even after sending them to a particular floor. Heres hoping this version doesnt become abandoned by the developers.
