Ive triead multiple times deleting and downloding the game but all we get is a frozen screen in the menu of the game cant even play the game even with the new update.
The opening cinematics wont play.
This game is honestly amazing a cinematic masterpiece though the addition of more factions where some of the rebel settlements are would be nice like adding Ireland or the Delhi sultan would be awesome.
Love this game but we tried to fight a defensive battle in hotseat mode and despite having selected that we wish to have all battles be playable before starting our campaign the game just auto resolves every defensive battle. (this happened in crusaders campaign).
Keep crashing since the new update.
After the update the shell and cheat input no longer work. Pressing the top corners no longer brings the shell menu to input commands/cheats. (iPhone 17 Pro Max).
We dont write reviews much, but we thought we owe at least this much for how much entertainment this game has provided for us. In this masterful port, Feral had made the TWM2 experience available for mobile gamers like us. All the mechanics runs smoothly and captures the classic Med2 experience, although the controls do take a while to get used to if youre new to mobile TW games. Overall, this game has personally provided hundreds of hours of entertainment for us and we cannot recommend this game enough. Thank you and keep up the amazing work, Feral.
We really love this game but can the dlc be free it isnt fair that you have to pay.

Great game just wish they would unlock all the factions.
Holy, this was very good work. Our only request at this point is to tweak how ranged units fire from walls? We just want to see that full hail of shots land properly without having to micro placement o7.
This games was so fun before mostly lol, and now we can replay it again with pike and shot armies? Awesome.
They even patched the two handed weapons bug from the original game. Fixed pike formations from the original. This and Rome now run smooth and dont overheat our phone. Guess they optimized them. Its incredible how theyve made these games run on phones. Nothing like the classic total war games. Already have hundreds of hours put into this and will put hundreds more in. Thanks Chinese mobile port companies. Youre doing Gods work.
When we try to control without ai it always unticks it.
Crashes or freezes often. Otherwise, outstanding game with thousands of hours of gameplay.
We love Medieval 2: Total War on mobile. Its what introduced us to the series before we got it on computer so we play it a lot. The new update is AMAZING, but we have a persistent bug when we play single player now. The new hotseat rebalance is a cool addition to hotseat games, but it seems that the rebalance has also now somehow became enabled in our single player games. Ignoring the now odd building prices , amazing game overall.
One problem we noticed with the update is we cant change the battle timer to a set time.. The AI during sieges use questionable tactics and hate that the timer is set to unlimited as the battle will last forever if you dont want to expose your troops outside your town or castle. Besides the battle timer and questionable tactics used by AI this game is definitely the best in the store! Please bring back battle timer.
It needs control controller support, backbone pro or any controller support like that would make it so much easier. Our fingers freeze up, our forearms and hands begin to cramp which has prevented us from playing this very fun title time and time again when we want to come back to it.
Ever since the update it crash too much.
We love this game, but there is one problem that we gather with all of our forces into one force and then will that entire army all the way down and we get into a defeat which makes us lose all our troops, but besides that when we get victories, even very rare victoriesI calm down Ive been trying to conquer the world in most of them.
The entire total war series is amazing but this being the first one we got really introduced us to the series! Despite there being numerous others available on the App Store for mobile we still always come back to this one! So if you are considering buying any total war game especially this one the price is very much worth it, we highly recommend. P.S. You pay one price once for all 4 other campaigns.
It literally is the definition of strategy and strategy and the best game we got on our phone.
The developers managed to translate the key areas of the PC experience to the IOS platform in an amazing way. The turn based strategy is rich and complex and the real time battles are still a lot of fun with great graphics. Best of all, its ad free. Very well done and thank you.

We've been playing this game since it was on the PC. This game has almost infinite replay value.
There needs to be multiplayer plus the pope needs to stop excommunicating us for defending ourselves and can there be mods.
This was our favorite game on pc as a teenager. Family haf a cheap processor hooked up to an old white box monitor. Not only is this game EXACTLY the way it was on pc, it actually runs smoother on our iPad than it did on that old bargain processor. This game is a bargain. The campaign is as good as ever and although we feared we wouldnt be able to customize battles (a fave thing to do for us), we found that we could and it was the same as we remember. Age of empires mobile couldnt even get it right with there much less complex game. Yall crushed it.
Past Spain there was Aztecs and other nations. Where have they gone? Are they not in the game for performance reasons? (Base campaign).
Im very happy to see one of the most beloved total war games ported to mobile for more people to enjoy with some better graphics and on the go fun. A must have for strategy game enjoyers and total war fans. 9/10.
Feral did a great job with this Medieval 2 port. The touch controls are pleasant to use, even on the battle screen. We would like to make one request to the developers: could you please add a merge all button that merges all units of the same time in a single army?we spend way too much time merging depleted units after a battle. And then when the Black Death came, there was so much merging to do.
Our 15 years old self never imagine that Ill be able to play medieval 2 in the phone. We played the Rome total war but this hits different. No crashes, no weird battleground bugs, just awesome awesome.
When can we get Rome 2? Please.
We love creating custom battles, we will either make the teams very even. Or will experiment with different troops and tactics. The only thing we would add is more blood option for realism.
Total war medieval two is our favorite game on all of mobile first of all, it is the best battle game you can ever think of a mobile second there is no ads, so enjoy watching people fight where ads cannot attack you and finally this game its basically just a real life version of lord of the rings rise of Mordor plus a lot of our family members play these type of games like. Plus, theres packs that will make you have your mind blown. It will include packs like the crusades, the tribal and the Teutonic.
Amazing so fun and the one of the best total of at games and on the phone wow we wish this was multiplayer and some features should be added to the pc version so fun 10/10.
Love this game and love being able to play it on our phone. Just finished a long campaign as Spain on hard, everything was smooth mostly but almost every time you tap on a unit while on campaign map and immediately tap the unit next to it, youll unselect the unit you just tapped on previously instead. We didnt experience this issue with Rome TW or Barbarian Invasion mobile versions, but when you need to quickly select multiple units from the roster instead of the map during battles, youll constantly need to retap the same troop as the game unselects it when you click a troop adjacent to it. Only a minor issue and can be worked around by pausing the game and then selecting the first troop, then briefly waiting, then tap the troop adjacent, then the game lets you select both units. We can recreate this issue almost consistently on the Medieval campaign, a small issue to an otherwise AMAZING port, well done.
The best game we ever had, its a bit better than Rome total war. Pretty much amazing, Im looking forward for your game to add some more finishers. Theyre fantastic.
This game was so garbage like the other 3 games fun but this one is more expensive and even crappy.
Totally worth the money very fun and challenging though not easy by any means five out of five.
Been playing this game for quite a while since we found it on the store a few years ago it never gets old especially after that major update that added different times in history all we want to ask and hope a dev sees this is whens the next update!????? XD.
Words cant explain how happy we are with this game. Its amazing how well the port to mobile for Rome and medieval has been. Cant wait for empire.
This is our first time playing this game and its absolutely smashing! Even though there are some tiny flaws, the developers did such an amazing job that it those flaws rarely come to mind! We have a suggestion for the developers. Id love the game to include a civil war feature. If an inferior general becomes faction leader (by you assigning them as faction heir before their ascendancy), then a better candidate ( the general with most command, dread/chivalry, or authority) should revolt under the same faction name and rally some generals to his side. Thereby, the better general will secede with some cities (depending on which General sits in a city and allies with him) and you will have to conquer the cities to get them back. This would pose as another challenge to the players, and would be fun.
Great game! Pls add the Incas in the americas campaign and a mongols campaign pls.
Coming from Rome, we didnt really know what to expect. We can confidently say that we like this game better! The battles feel more immersive, the combat mechanics are better, the graphics look amazing, the cutscenes are sick, and the time period is awesome! We cannot praise the diplomacy system enough and how diverse each nation feels! For example, Catholic countries will have to adhere to the pope. Get excommunicated and youre in for it. Muslim and Eastern Orthodox countries dont have this problem, but they arent as big, and come with their own flaws. We love the crusades system, it feels awesome to join a crusade the pope has called or request one ourselves! 10/10 game! Would recommend to any strategy fan.
So when are we going to finally get a Medieval 3 CA.
This is a fantastic game. Extremely well done with great gameplay. We cannot say anything bad. If anything, our only wish is that there are more total war games coming out soon for iOS. The standard campaign and kingdoms expansion are both great but it seems like its been a while since weve had a new expansion pack or game. Question for the developer: when will we see a new expansion for Medieval 2 or a new total war? Thanks for bringing a great game to iPad.
Crashes due to the fact that we start a battle or open a settlement in the DLC BRITANNIA open the last 5-7 times for construction and you will see everything for yourself.
Could you add winged hussars (if you dont know what are winged hussars search it up most of them use lances and not shields, also they use sabres) to the polish faction and some more janisarry units to the Ottoman Empire and more men armed with shield and sword with a pikeman helmet and black and yellow color clothes and some arm armor with some armored spearman with pikeman helmet again and this time black and yellow shirt with brown gloves and with a spear and a shield to the Holy Roman Empire faction please. Sorry for a lot of answers Thank you.
Its the greatest game of all time AND its on the phone. Bathroom breaks have never been the same on god on god. P.S. If you are the developer give us the dlc pls (P.S. Please remaster the game for pc!).
