MEDIEVAL II brings Total War’s compelling mix of massive real-time battles and intricate turn-based strategy to iPhone and iPad. Set across three continents during the turbulent Middle Ages, spectacular conflicts and scheming rivals line the path to power as the great kingdoms of the medieval world vie for supremacy. Be it through diplomacy or conquest, trade or subterfuge, you must secure the resources and loyalty required to rule an empire from the shores of Western Europe to the sands of Arabia.
THE STRENGTH OF NATIONS
Unlock up to 17 playable factions and build them into major world powers through statecraft, subterfuge or all-out war.
THE KINGDOMS EXPANSION
Available via in-app purchase, this massive expansion includes 24 playable factions across four unique, fully featured campaigns. Wage war from the jungles of the Americas to the deserts of the Holy Land, from the deceptively gentle shores of the British Isles to the frigid Baltic plains.
THE ART OF WAR
Deploy infantry, archers and cavalry into huge real-time battles, with a full range of medieval weaponry at your command.
THE TOOLS OF STATE
Use sophisticated diplomacy, lucrative trade agreements and daring agents to forge alliances or destabilise your rivals.
THE TEST OF TIME
Shape the destinies of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East through five momentous centuries of combat, competition and conquest.
THE POWER IN YOUR HANDS
Take command, with a brand-new user interface and enhanced touch controls for fingertip control of the battlefield. Or, play with any iPadOS-compatible mouse & keyboard.

Please please please do command and conquer generals next!
Chinese, please China, please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please.
It is a very good game, Great graphics And wonderful, and even Beautiful voice acting But we have to pay more money to unlock more parts of the game.
Truly love the total war franchise and this mobile edition has satisfied 100% flawless integration with original controls. Love this game!
Thank you so much developer for answering and solving our previous questions! Also, we wonder. Could you team also make total war: shogun 2 in an iPad please? If you do, please make cheat codes available as well. In pc version, there is no cheat codes available and it is difficult.
We love this game!!!!! Toltal war we think you should make more games for iPhone!
Please fix the Two handed bug, the Venetian Archer Armor upgrade bug and all of the buildings you build dont show in the settlements especially the Orthodox Cathedral for Byzantium and Russia otherwise what a great game!!
Need a mechanic where you can pay a fee to arrange a marriage especially for faction leaders, having dynasty die out because marriage never gets proposed.
If you gets kingdoms campaign like AMERICAS, BRITANNIA, CRUSADES AND TEUTONIC. Can you play the factions that are in the campaigns in a Custom Battle?
Works great after getting used to the controls we played as a kid and its great its now playable on iOS.
In Medeival 2, units with two-handed weapons miss and do not behave adequately in the wheelhouse. (turn their backs, attack slowly, attack wide) In the Kingdoms expansion, they fight at full strength. Please fix this bug in original Medieval 2.
We need to scratch our spartan itch please make a game with this much update to the Greeks.
Great game port but there is one issue The elephants are op developers Please reduce the distance at which the elephants can fire not cool the timurids can spam elephants that can shoot half way cross the battlefield completely decimate our entire army even if we got cannons the range is no good compared to the elephants please nerf please.
We think yall should fix the two handed glitch in vanilla ice been a real big fan of yalls game and it almost perfect we think it just needs to be fixed in vanilla on mobile we think it might urge people to buy it.
We would say that TWM2 is one of the best mobile total war games out there.
The game is really good but its just getting a bit repetitive right now so Im wondering if mod support is going to come in the near future or it will never come.
We remember dreaming as a kid to be able to play this game on a phone lol dreams do come true!!! It is even better than the desktop version from back in the day haha.
Incredible game, and the extra campaigns such as Teutonic are terrific!
Thanks for the new old experience. And now we wait Empire Total War or maybe, Rome 2?
Been playin since the early 00s. Always fun during some downtime.
Our favorite childhood game in the world. This game was gifted to us the first time when we were 16! Still remember that Christmas Day and we remember all the memories we have destroying nation left and right with the Turks. So yes Feral ENT. Thank you for the Nostalgia! 5 stars! Oh and 1 more thing would you guys add ships in the background battlefield map just like in Rome 1? Made everything feel like a landing invasion force.
Best game out there but we just wish they add multiplayer gameplay or multiplayer campaign.
Great game! But, Im wondering if you could request Creative Assembly to make mobile ports of Empire and Shogun 2. Id love to play them on mobile since we cant really play Empire often and we’ve always wanted to try Shogun 2.
We love all the total war games. It brings us joy knowing they have them on mobile. Love medieval and Rome great games. One thing that can make this the best. Is total war empire or napoleon. But so far worth the money great purchase. We sold our child for this game.
Hi we know you guys are working on stuff but for the next update please add ambushes to custom battles we would really want to ambush entire armies please add we would really love for you to.
Lord of the rings total war ?;)
Not lightly said, this ( and total war Rome) have been a favorite for years now. Anybody who has love for age of empires, command and conquer, StarCraft and all those types of games – NEED to play this one. Very few games have reached this caliber – hopefully devs wont forget this classic and make more like this one!!!
We had this game back when it first came out on P.C. To say we were beyond thrilled when it came to iOS would be an understatement. The nostalgia has taken us back to when we originally played this game when it first came out. Awesome job to those who made this happen! Thrilled to see them being the expansions packs to this game like they did with Rome Total War. Have already put several hours into this and look forward to putting more in to the different expansion packs. Thank you! Highly recommend this to anyone!
Makes us wants to play freebird.
Medieval Total War is an outstanding game that offers players an incredible opportunity to dive deep into the medieval world and experience the thrill of epic battles, political maneuvering, and strategic warfare. The game’s attention to detail is remarkable, with historical accuracy that transports you to another time and place. One of the best aspects of Medieval Total War is the variety of factions available for players to choose from, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. This diversity allows for countless hours of gameplay as players explore different strategies and battle tactics to achieve their goals. The graphics and sound effects of the game are also remarkable. The attention to detail in the depictions of medieval castles, knights, and soldiers is impressive, and the sound effects add to the immersion by creating a sense of tension and excitement during battles. Moreover, the game’s campaign mode is well designed, with a vast world map that allows players to control and manage their territories, armies, and resources. The diplomacy aspect of the game is also excellent, with options to form alliances, trade resources, and negotiate peace treaties. Overall, Medieval Total War is a must-play game for history buffs, strategy game enthusiasts, and anyone looking for an immersive gaming experience. The game’s attention to detail, historical accuracy, and engaging gameplay make it one of the best strategy games ever created. One question we have is are you going to add multiplayer to medieval total war as it will be something we would love to enjoy as we will be able to enjoy this game even more with our friends.
Can u please add mongols to play because that would be epic to conquer from scratch.
It blew our mind someone put Rome total war on mobile phone. But also medieval and other big games like company of heroes and tropico! And more! We hope they continue and put out Empire Total War for mobile! Love the games, they run amazing! Please keep it up!
Another masterful port by Feral, plays great on any size phone and doesnt overheat.
Hello Total war, we just want to ask that are you bringing in NTW to mobile and can you mod medieval. Your games are amazing!

One thing we would love to see is multiplayer as there are several reasons why adding multiplayer functionality to mobile games could be beneficial: Increased Engagement: Multiplayer features can make games more engaging and increase the time players spend in the game. This is because multiplayer modes create a social aspect to the game, where players can compete or cooperate with other players. Improved Retention: By adding multiplayer functionality, game developers can improve player retention rates. Players are more likely to keep playing a game if they can play with their friends or make new connections through the game. New Revenue Streams: Multiplayer features can offer new revenue streams for mobile game developers. For example, players may be willing to pay for access to exclusive multiplayer features, such as special tournaments or in-game items that can only be obtained through multiplayer gameplay. Competitive Advantage: In a crowded mobile gaming market, adding multiplayer functionality can give a game a competitive edge. Players are increasingly looking for social experiences in their mobile games, and a well-implemented multiplayer mode can differentiate a game from its competitors. Better Data Collection: Multiplayer functionality can also provide valuable data to game developers. By tracking multiplayer gameplay, developers can gain insights into player behavior and preferences, which can inform future updates and features.
It would be so nice and we highly believe that it will attract more people. Thank You MTW is awesome.
Thank You Feral for bringing Medieval Total War II to the Mobile Platform. All of the coolest features from Total War are here including the most awesome battle units from Europe, to the Byzantines and the Caliphates, to The Kingdom of Jerusalem to Antioch , and all the way to The Americas are here and of course Total Wars signature Intros and Gameplay Music. We purchased both the game and the expansion pack yesterday and Feral included the View Settlement on Battlemap Mode and that had not been done in the past for the PC nor Mobile but now its here and we used it a few times already and its just Totally Cool. THANK YOU!! Well Done.
OMG is it possible for a online multiplayer? Even if its 1v1.
The gameplay is amazing we cant wait to see what they do with mobile warhammer.
We loved playing this on pc and we are amazed that it plays so well on mobile! Amazing game, of course, but we can’t say enough how impressed we are with the quality of the app. It does drive us a little crazy sometimes trying to play fast with our big fingers on a little screen and we definitely have trouble micromanaging our army during battle but honestly, we cannot imagine a better Total War experience on mobile.
Everything seem to work great the only crash we’ve found is the tap and hold to load last save from the launcher.
Hi, this is a great lovely game. But we do have an issue. How can we swith from a campaign to another campaign? In the main menu, we don’t see any option to switch. And how can we return to total war: medieval 2 from total war: kingdoms?
Can we get a return to menu button for the expansions.
Thank you for making a mobile app of this game! Keep making terrific games for the PC and phone!!!
So we love Total war games, but recently we’ve only been able to play on iPad. All of the total war games on mobile are amazing but we want more total war games like war hammer. So please Devs if you see this please reply or put more total war games on mobile.
