Whats great About this app is that you learn as you go, while you are in sort of a real life situation. The reasoning and explanations are clear and easy to understand. 10 packs can be purchased individually so it is affordable.

We can feel the valuable improvement with each hand we play. When Im frustrated that we made a wrong call, we can almost always agree with their logic or at least appreciate it. If you are brand new to poker, the terminology may be difficult.
Best poker app for learning the game at a high level.
Most poker helpers fill their tips with rapid fire jargon. Not productive if youre trying to teach and attract new players. OK if you want to get criticized by veteran hip players who think they are pros.
Interesting so far…hoping there are hand packs to figure out your odds coming soon. Not enough hand packs right now. Lots of potential.

This app is amazing. It puts you in the hot seat of real hands from actual tournaments and allows you to make choices and gives you feedback for them. If your choice was poor; the app will explain concisely why your choice was not the greatest and moves forward with the hand using the correct choice. You move through the hand making choices usually till the river or till you fold. (Folding is an important lesson the game tries to teach in certain situations.) This app is awesome and worth every penny! (Buy the big bundle and get everything) Become a winner today.
This app allows you to look into how a pro views particular poker situations. It's short, concise, and does the job very well.
This app is like a college course on how to bet Texas Hold us in every type of playing format. Only real pros wouldn't gain helpful strategies from this app. Each hand is from a setting at some tournament event and compares your moves to the pro who played this hand. It even tells you the tendencies of the players you are playing against. Would recommend to anyone serious about learning more about playing better. You earn points you can use in later hands…..you won't regret getting this app if you want to become a smarter player anywhere.
It really helps guide you through your plays without feeling pressured to make a fast move as in live play. Interface is a little confusing so one star off but 4 stars overall.

We are a beginner at Texas Holdem. The App has help us understand some of the fundamentals of the game.
We like the app, it's clean and simple which is what we were looking for. We think there are areas for improvement to make it really nice. One would be a larger text window for the feedback. It makes you scroll almost every time. A second would be to provide you the raising choices in terms of the BB or the pot (we.e.: make a 3x bet or. 1/3,1/2 pot bet) it goes into this detail in the explanation but we think it would help the users memory more in those terms. Overall nice job.
We want to learn the game, and have only caught glimpses on tv. We like that it tells you what move you should have made when you do things wrong, but the long winded explanations jam packed with jargon, we get so lost and stop trying. If youre new to the game, dont use this. If youre somewhat familiar with the game, Im sure this would be pretty helpful.

We can see how this is a good teaching tool. Would be nice if it had a glossary of terms. Examples would be affected stack size coordinated and drive flops and effective stack size. Would like to see a pack it was a poker dictionary. Still learning a lot though.
We play poker often with groups of friends and was curious to see what we could actually learn. You get really detailed feedback after every move, which is fantastic and actually helpful. We'd recommend this to anyone who has a grasp on how to play texas hold 'em and wants to get better at poker. And maybe get more of their friends' money.

Great but the pricing is too high. It can coach you to be a typical player.
We have been playing for over 18 years now have attended the WPT Boot Camp and find these packs really hone our game we have placed in the money circle turn immense and these packs are the best quick easy to use only issue wish they had more hands to play with otherwise not the best but better than reading books for several days.

Solid tool for Hold Em. A must download for casual or serious players.
The price of packs has come down a lot making this a solid value. Jonathan Little is a top pro and offers solid advice. However, there are quite a few bits of advice we don't particularly care for. One example is how he likes to vary his bet sizing depending on the bet's intended purpose. We'd think this could be a potential tell. We don't mind it in certain situations against certain player types, but we think it's overused here. With that said, making a more standard sized bet is usually still called a "good move." It's just not the "best move" per the recommendation. So it's just a matter of opinion which is fine. Little does a great job of explaining the thought process behind which moves he recommends and that's what is truly important–learning how to think in certain situations. All in all, we think it's an outstanding training tool.
