Wow, havent played bridge in years and this app has reacquainted us with a game we love but cant find people to play with. The tutorial and lessons are as great at teaching as they are corny and fun. So ridiculous but it makes us laugh and connect to the fun aspect of the game. We hope you give it a try and enjoy it as much as we have.
We’ve always been intrigued by Bridge but it seemed overwhelming to learn – this app is an excellent way to learn and fun and engages your brain. The characters are a bit corny but enjoy the banter.
Learned to play as a kid and had not played much since. Our daughter found this app after she played for the first time with our mom and us. Having a great time relearning using this app.
We played for the 3rd time with an experienced player with NO patience. We needed more hands on, and found this app. Its informative and great fun, and no negative attitude.
We have downloaded many bridge games but none have come close to Tricky Bridge. Dont get us wrongits not perfect but after trying to play and learn from the others, this Tricky Bridge game is superior to all others that we are familiar with. There are some improvements we would like to see made such as allowing the learner and/or player to go back a step to start a game over without having to go all the way through the lessons before the games start. We have to TAP our way through all the lessons we learn before playing the game that corresponds to the lesson learned; however, if one wants to start the game over, we sadly have to go back to the very beginning of the lessons to get back to the bridge game itself. For a beginning player who wants to learn how to play bridge, they are NOT taught to bid before they are taught to play which, to us, seems to be backwards. We would think that learning to bid should come first and then learning to play, second. Those are just two of the problems we have noted and we will update as we go through the lessons and the playing of the game.
Love the unique atmosphere created by the character design and art style, also we learned to play a cool card game we had previously considered archaic and complex but we now consider fun and complex.
We are new to playing bridge and found this game incredibly helpful. Step by step tutorial that allows all the practice you need. Sometimes play is difficultyou cant win every hand, just like bridge. But it allows experience in both offense and defense. Great graphics, quick play. Even tells you when you make a mistake on leads, etc. Im thoroughly enjoying this and learning a ton.
Fun practice app for a beginning bridge player. Moves quickly though the basics, avoiding details that would bog down the play. We dont know if it would work for someone who knew absolutely nothing about bridge, but combined with a weekly bridge class, its fun, and good bridge practice.

This is a great bridge game. We tried several others over the years, and this is the best. We like to play quick tournaments.
We have wanted to try to join a local game but not without practicing the basics. WOW its actually really complicated. We are so glad that the learning mode breaks it into various easy versions of the game. Excited to keep learning. Thanks for making such a fun and interesting app!

Learning so much and it is fun!
If you are just learning Bridge, start with the 57 lessons; but don’t expect to learn all about Bridge in just those lessons. You will still need to use a lot of internet resources or a good book on Bridge (or a bridge-playing friend). One thing we love is you can play hands in the Practice mode forever for free. We played like that for a while and then bought an annual subscription to support this team. If you are a beginner, after the lessons it will be a little tough. The Simple version of the SAYC convention still has a LOT of conventions. Luckily clicking on the bid tells you more about what it means and when you don’t understand a convention you can look it up on the web or join the discord channel and ask questions. Be patient, recognize this is a complex (but really fun) game. Once you get a little better, the Just Play mode lets you practice and compare how you did with both bots and other humans. You can examine how better players bid and played your hand. When you want a little more, head-to-head competition against humans you can enter the tournaments. You always play with bot partners so no one ever gets mad at you! We do wish we could just play rubber bridge but that’s a minor nit. We’re using this app to learn and get better and to teach some friends how to play Bridge. Kudos to the team that built this. Great job.

This makes learning bridge so simple and so ch fun for a dummy like us. It is such fun that we cant wait to return and play in any spare moment that we have. We look forward to each successive new lesson!
Yupit has been that long since we last played, and bidding was done by the Goren book. Dont really know Stayman, but this program sure helps boot up memories, while teaching, and point count and points for game, etc., have not even been mentioned yet as of lesson 21! We really am enjoying this, getting ready to play with live people!
Rally fun way to learn bridge. Lessons are short, simple, and also allow you to practice as much as you like before moving on to the next point. Very much enjoying it, and highly recommend!

The lessons are great for introducing you to bridge. But you get through the lessons pretty quickly and then thats basically it. You only get 10 deals a week, which means you get to actually play only 10 times and then wait days before getting to play again. And technically, its way more than 1 week bc it gives you the new deals 7 days after you used your last deal. Pretty lame.
The lessons really get you learning bridge quickly. The games are well done and you can replay and learn what you may have done wrong. Highly recommend!
We downloaded this to teach our 13 year old daughter how to play Bridge to help her find something interesting to do with her time. She didnt want anything to do with it until she tried it! Now she wants to teach the whole family how to play!! Her friends teased her about it being an old ladys game, now they are playing too. This app has been an unexpected success in our house!

When we were searching for bridge applications to learn how to play the complex game, we initially picked the first one to pop up as many other people do. Im so glad we decided to look further. This complex game is complex no more with tricky bridge. Each aspect of the card game is explained in immaculate detail and is suitable for all audiences. 10/10 thank you tricky bridge.

What a great approach to teaching bridge. They introduce rules one step at a time, giving you time to learn without it being too slow. It teaches in a way that new concepts are built on top of previous lessons, rather than throwing a bunch of conventions at you haphazardly like many resources. And we found the robot storyline in the lesson to be a fun intermission between each lesson. To the creators: well done!
We never played bridge before. But, after going through these lessons, we feel like we can play against anyone.
Teaches some basics, but has not taught bidding by the points in your hand yet. Just bidding on the longest suit in your hand. However its fun, Robot jokes aside.
