Community Insight:

By far one of the best games ive played in a while. Once we started, we couldnt stop or it roped us in completely. The character development & story line is beyond amazing. Ending was bittersweet & left us in tears, but it was so unbelievably worth it. We couldnt recommend this game enough.

Best game ever. They nail everything a game should have suspense, action, and sadness. Very informative of about what WWI was about at a child friendly level. Plus there is no LGBQ+ content at all. Definitely a must play game.

We dont understand why this game doesnt have a 5 starts is literally amazing.

As a war/revolutionary history buff, we personally loved this game so much that we keep trying to find similar ones. Many negative reviews will complain about Netflixs user-only policy, but honestly, it makes sense. They paid to make the game, Netflix has every right to charge. We wish we knew the game writers (not Netflix) so we could support such talented artists and coders. Bravi, nameless creators.

Story 10/10 Gameplay 10/10 Graphics 10/10.

Omg we loved the first and second one it is truly a work of art. We are a history buff ourselves and will never forget this. You all have to start making a ww2 part of the story we really want to know more about Ernst and gourge and see them more, we are looking forward to a part 3.

The question is how to play on iPhone with ios 16.7.11 when Netflix can be downloaded only on ios 18, and it is impossible to play without entering Netflix, the menu with Netflix login will open automatically, we can't update to ios 18 we have an old device- "Iphone x" Can you find it, please.

What happened to the Great War version.

Just be ready. Stuff gets real really quick.

We loved the game, we loved how the story wasnt just war oriented but relationship oriented as well. The plot made us absolutely sob. It hit us deep in our heart and the small things like the memories broke us. Its such a good game and its definitely a tear jerker. It helped us realize more in depth how cruel war can be on our soldiers and our colored troops at that, we love the realism of the ending where it wasnt all sunshine and rainbows, cause life dosent always have a happy go lucky ending. Overall 10/10 would recommend if youre looking for an interactive story based game. SPOILER ALERT The moment Freddy died broke us like we got so attached to his character and him and Anna seemed so happy and in love, then he died. The bloody war didnt kill him but two blokes on the street did? We feel like that was a realistic ending for that time period but it didnt do his character justice. If they were gonna kill him off Id have preferred they do so in the war instead of making us think hed have a happy ending and being like SIKE you thought. But overall we loved the game.

Not the worst at all. But easily the most boring. Theres just nothing interesting about this at all.

We love the game but when and is the first one coming to mobile.

Just finished the game at the time of writing this, 10/10 game, got super invested in the story and fictional characters, emotionally broken after getting to the end.

We were introduced to Valiant Hearts through the original game (which we believe is now off the App Store now-). We were surprised and excited to see that there was a sequel game. Compared to the original game, we found this ones puzzles to be easier. Nearly all of the puzzles use some sort of object throwing tactic; whereas in the original game, the actions you had to complete to solve a puzzle were more varied. We also was a bit disappointed that there were less chapters than the original game. Because the puzzles in this one are relatively easy, if you become too invested, you might accidentally whip through the game pretty fast. Besides these two facts, we were happy to see another Valiant Hearts game. The artwork, characters, and music is still great.

Loved the first one but feel a bit ripped off since you can't play this game with a controller.

Netflix really bought out this game and made it exclusive.

We WAS Wondering WHY we NEEDED A Netflix account.

The game's not working at all, please fix this game.

The first game was great and told a great WW1 story. Unfortunately, Netflix had to take over the 2nd game and infuse it with their agenda, right from the beginning, in first photograph stories.

We have so many fond memories of us and our brother playing the ORIGINAL game together and helping each other figure it out, both us and our brother are history buffs (more so him than us) and we loved the ORIGINAL game. Last night we just remembered the ORIGINAL game and we thought wow that game was great we wanna play it again, so we wake up and get in our phone only to have our heart broken to see that NETFLIX f-ing Netflix bought the game and RUINED it.

It is a pity that we cannot have that game , but the game is interesting ,too.

What happened to the freaking original.

What we mean is, that the original game, the guy who made it wanted a message to take away, the kids and dogs had their eyes visible as they are innocent, but adults had their eyes obscured in some way, as they didnt want to see what they had done to the world. And not all of the adults have their eyes obscured, and we think that goes against the ideals that the original maker wanted. Also the game has an unfamiliar controls than the original. But we will say, it is more interactive. It is easier, a little too easy. Edit: we have actually finished this game, and Im still annoyed we cant finish the original, but what Im trying to say, is, it still gets the main message across. This game, should not be criticized for graphics, glitches, or anything. It should, be appreciated for the reason it was made. We dont care if it actually is made for the money, though that is the rudest and worst way to f up the mood of this game, but it is more than that.

Amazing story good character designs puzzles are fun we recommend this game because of its mechanics 5 stars.

The second installment of Valiant Hearts may not be quite as elaborate as the first, but its still an excellent way to learn facts about WWI and to get emotional insight into its human cost. Recommended for both older children & adults.

We wanted the first one also but you ruined it Netflix.

Why is Netflix making us pay to play? Know why youre losing all your customers to Hulu and Disney+.

We absolutely loved this game but one thing it felt it lacked was serious character development compared to the first game. You added George -the pilot who we never got any real backstory on and for Ernest and James backstory seemed a bit lacking. Also in terms of length it was a lot shorter but we loved the game.

The long-awaited sequel and a very good game on ios. There are very few story games in the App Store. We love this game.

Dear Netflix it seem like you have bring back the best ww1 game and puzzles game and we assume that we need to pay a unlimited membership to play the game instead of the traditional free to play and we have some thing to say about you too -you a leach -worthless capitalist company -and a mistake create by god -we hope you went bankrupt Thank you from jame.

Seriously Netflix why do you have to be greedy so you can leach off our money the game is for free but to play it we cannot make it free we want enjoyment not being leached.

As we played through this game whether or not your here to read the diarys or play the action sequences you will most likely be intrigued by one of the many aspects, narratives, or the music on this beautiful game full of changing emotions changing bodies and changing abilities to mend and shape itself into an infinite trick pony with a splash of world history.

Downloaded the game and the sound nor vibration would work. Deleted and moved on.
