It’s definitely an interesting game. We could play it for hours and hours and still have more to look forward to for weeks to come.
We played this game for a looooong time and at first it is very hard to like because everyone has better ships but once you spend some time and doing upgrades and you win your first battle and you progressively move through the levels and destroying high level fleets you appreciate the game so much. It’s very advanced, needs skill, time, dedication, and you have to be relentless. We thoroughly love this game and what they did with it. A lot more than when we first played but we love the new additions.
We took time to read other reviews before making our own. Events every week or even two a week is great!! Thats the point of an online game is to be active(for the most part) we started, quit for quite awhile and came back and some players helped to get strategies going. Love that more and more ships are showing up. Could use more blue ships for players still progressing and learning the ropes, or at some point custom ships with certain balance restrictions of course. Otherwise keep up the good work.
When you start vega conflict, your ships are so cheap, and require no animator, now all our powerful ships are destroyed and we have no animator to fix them, so we have to resort to our harrier frigates, just to fight a fleet, we lost 6 fleets fighting it, and then, someone steals the animator fleet we worked hard to damage. Make the game less reliant on animator.

This game is a good game but we have 3 complaints. 1: the log build & repair times 2: players get a higher advantage when you spend coins 3: EVENTS this is a complaint you heard for a long time but seriously almost every event (other then riot) is for higher players. If this does not change in the next couple of months us and all our friends are going delete this game.
So, what’s the point. Can’t play on a plane. Useless. We understand that it may need data sometimes but it should still work. Being removed.
Power creeping, coin gobbling, deaf ear having developers trust us if you are not established in the game and even if you are like us its still crap.
Edit: The game has gone from 4 stars to 1 for us. The game developers have gotten greedy holding non stop events to try to force players to grind events constantly just to remain competitive. Boring or get left behind. Yawn. 4 stars is the highest rating from us unless we’re completely blown away in every aspect to give a 5. This game is very fun to play but has a bit of a learning curve. It also has excellent support which anyone who plays these games knows is a HUGE factor that can literally make or break a game (very very important if you start sinking money into a game-which you don’t really need to do in this game unless you want to try to be the best player always). The space station aspect is more immersive and believable than a space mmo where you own whole planets. Your base station realistically orbits a planet along with tons of other players. There are several planets and sectors to go to and you can move it around if needed to be close to friends or whatever. You can build up your base and customize it as needed moving things around whenever you want as it suits you, or as needed for defense. Its nice to be able pick an enemy to attack rather than have some random selected for you (however there are power limits for fights until you reach a high level to balance the game). This allows for more immersion, true Alliance interaction including NAPs and Wars, and all that comes with that. There is a YouTube channel called Manni Gaming that teaches a lot of strategy including how to play for little or no money. A major plus for us is you can change your name whenever you want for a cost you can even have the same name as someone else because everyone has a unique player ID to differentiate them from others. There is only one server which we love is a huge deal since you don’t start building on the wrong server then find all your friends are on another or make friends on another and have to start over. There are limits to where you can fly to in your part of the server but you can move your base for free every 7 days if you want to go to a different cluster on the server.
All you need is a coin maker and a good alliance to make it in this game. If your thinking of getting this game, try to find AFR, AF2 or AF3 alliance ( the alliance we’re in ). 5/5 stars.
We just started and so far it’s pretty good. Good combat. Good base attack system. Even good fleet organization and attack systems. And yes orbital trajectory is taken into account.
We would be so happy if it was Star Wars because we are a big Star Wars fan so… This is just an advise or an idea for making a new game like VEGA Conflict but a Star Wars version. That will be really cool but we would like if players don’t pay to be better than anyone because it’s not balanced at all but they could support it to get the Star Wars version up and more updates but we think it’s best to not put the thing where you can buy stuff with real money because it’s really not fair for other players that can’t even use any money. In the future we would like to support the new idea if you developers would like to create a Star Wars version of VEGA Conflict.
If you have space and naval battles VEGA Conflict is for you. VEGA Conflict has a different way of finding players, in VEGA there are sectors and each sector has about 9 planets in each planet there are players, and lots of them. But in each sector there are worm holes to other sectors! So The way that you find a person is by moving your fleet of space ships through your sector to find people to fight, there are NPC’s to fight as well. And don’t worry about level 50’s attacking your level 4 fleet, people can only attack you if your fleet is 5 levels above or below. (note: you can attack NPC’s no matter what lever they are) there are events like the alien harvester, overall this game is amazing and we think you should get it. After all it is free ;)
This is a great game with very good gameplay but….. Those who pay will get ahead. We’re at a high level and still trying to get a carrier. You must have one to do well in the monthly events. Those who pay can get very far ahead quickly. We wish this game was a little more balanced for those not willing to pay thousands…..
This is a solid game that can be played across multiple platforms seamlessly. It scratches the starship combat itch well. Despite some claims, it’s entirely possible to enjoy this game for years without spending cash. However, those that spend DO have an advantage. Well worth playing.
We love this game its now our fav of all our mmo games, but in a battle there is just way too much lag!!! We bypass this by simply not joining the battles we just wait for a min and boom we got our resources or whatever we were fighting for lol.

Anyone that says you don’t need to coin is still playing with old VEGA fleets. Be careful of misleading offers. I.e. Flagship. Gameplay is ok.

We can’t believe how awesome of a game this is. We’ve been playing on and off for about a year or so, and we have to say it is one of the BEST mobile games out there.
Been playing VEGA Conflict for about 2 years, we love it, yea it can be really challenging at times to get your fleets to the 50s but it’s fun, it is very well put together, wished the blueprints for some of the weapons and ships were a bit easier to get but we guess it’s also the motivator to keep playing. The forums are well put together for the game, thank you developers for providing that arm for the community to get news and to put out builds for fleets. We love it, it’s amazing, gotta put some thought in the dynamics of your fleet set up. Sometimes we wonder why it isn’t in the top 3 games in the App Store.
This in-game world is HUGE! Great blend of PvP and PvE.
Very fun space ship combat economics are a little tedious but overall a good game.
This game, while great at its core, is developed by a exceeding greedy company who will use every attempt to extort money from you. Currently, this game is not new player friendly, and to get to end level takes about a year of constant playtime. Also once you get to end-game, new content is pushed out every 2 weeks or so that replaces old content as well as having an effect of taking up huge amount of storage and keeping you in constant grind unless you pay. So in short, this game is very pay2win and pay2keepup.
Been playing for about 1.5 years. This use to be a great game but power creep over the last year has been substantial. New tech being added at a rate that new players struggle to catch up. That said, now there has been an announcement indicating all previous tech and ships will be obsolete starting with the February 2017 update. We saw one review indicating it will take a year for someone to catch-up, but with this new announcement, it will take much longer … Unless of course you are willing to spend hundreds (yes plural) of dollars each month. As others have stated … This has become a very pay to play game. For the more positive reviews, we would categorize those people under 1 of the following categories: 1. Past enjoyment of the game, 2. Has the money to spend in the game, 3. It’s the company entering false reviews to improve their rating … And yes we would not put it past the company to do that based on past poor customer relations and the acceleration of the power creep they’ve inserted into the game. If you are new to this game or thinking of starting … Keep looking for another game to play.
EPIC: good gameplay, great style, and nice interface makes this game EPIC. SCARY: in fear of getting raided at all times is what makes it scary for us. We suggest this for anyone who loves space games. <3.

This game is very good, we love the ship-to-ship combat. However, it could use a feature in which it asks, "Are you sure you want to spend coins on this project?" This could become a major problem for things that take a while. Overall, the game is great, but if the decks are reading this, please implement the above suggestion.

VC is a thought out game. There is definitely room for improvement, but for the most part it is a good game. While you don’t need to spend real money to play, you do need to spend money if you want to reach the upper ranks. Looking at the most high end players, they have in fact spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars to excel and succeed. As long as you don’t expect to compete with people who are in an alliance ranked in the single and in some case even double digits in the world, you’ll enjoy this game.
Played this game for over 2 years now. This game is a total money grab before it dies out. We’re talking $150 to just refit a ship. No chance to even slightly compete unless you spend lots of money. It is the definition of a pay to win game. Most greedy gaming company we’ve ever come across. DO NOT TRY THIS GAME.
Amazing for a long time! Very cool fun and a lot of action. After a game matainence recently we clicked on the app and was asked to pick a way to play (google account, apple, account face book etc.) and when we accidentally picked guest (which is what we was) we had to start over!!!!
98% farming for resources and 2% combat Everything cost coins, buy, build, destroy, repair, over and over, and big ships can take 16 days to build. Recent changes by kixeye has ticked off a lot of uses. The coiners rule the Vega universe and try knock the challengers out of the game. Vega is 2D, but the developers arrange graphics to emulate 3D. No arcade mode so you can jump right in and play. No sector police to control the bullies The scale of the bases in relation to the scale of the ships is totally off base. We would mention other missing pieces but we dont want the developers to steal our ideas. Oh, never mention the words app store refund to kixeye support if you are not happy with the game they will threaten you with some diluted scripted rhetoric about going after your bank account . The best part of the game turns out to be the people you meet in a clan that you have to join to survive in the game Real time online chat channels. The base concept of the game is good butGames are suppose to be fun, and not like a second job, or a crazy X girl/boy friend.
The concept of this game is really good but the selfish company ruins such concept with their greed. This game shows a whole new level of greed, with the tweaks they make to try and get player to pay more.
It was a great game but they became greedy to take advantages, playing this game for +- 2years . They will give new weapons, tech etc monthly so have to coins it to get . Not recommended if u want to have fun.
As many others this was a good game at one point. But now greed has destroyed this game. Shame on you Kixeye.
Do not waste your time downloading or playing this game. Unless you spend FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS PLUS a month, you cannot stay competitive. It used to be fun but this game has been ruined by the greed of kixeye. Every thing is a bait and switch. As soon as you feel you’re getting somewhere with progression, kix "rebalances" tech/ships/weapons and your fleets are now worthless. Kix eye are greedy as hell and won’t be getting any more of our money.
This is a great game you really just need to make it so that you can create a clan at level 15 not 20+. P.s. The ship refiting should take no time not 10+ mins.
It’s a bit of a steep learning curve. The cross platform support is EXCELLENT!! We look forward to digging deeper into this game.
VEGA Conflict has a amazing on when you finally reach tier 3 and that is just plain wack because it takes a month or two just to acquire those due to the factory and lab upgrades plus the research time and then the time it takes to build the ship. Then the repair times are almost worse. 10hrs 20hrs a day then yay we can play again is what we hear from the veteran players. To be honest the game is very fun… When you get to play it. This game is almost a complete letdown. P.S Kix is not newbie friendly in this game guys :/
Only been playing a week and have plenty to do. Can see how some of the task are already lengthy. Fleets need to be a lot higher then bot fleets to collect needed goods but have plenty of building to do while they repair. We will see what lies ahead once we get hit or need items out of reach. So far so good.
Do not play this game. You must spend money in game to be competitive! Once you build a fleet the game owners will do an update that will make your fleet obsolete instantly. This is what’s ahead if you chose to play. Takes 10 days to build a ship then it takes 2 days to fit weapons & armor. Once you have said fleet you get to use it till it’s destroyed. 5 min battle. Depending on the damage you take you must repair. This can take anywhere from 2hrs (little damage) up to 24hr (fleet destroyed). So it takes 72 days to build a fleet and fit it correctly. Then you fight for 5 mins & have to repair for 18-24 hrs average. Once you get good at flying the fleet the game owners nerf the weapon or armor making the fleet needing to be refit! So add 2 more days for each ship to be refit plus you cannot build new ships while you refit! TLDR this game is a huge waste of time! Don’t play it find something better!
