Solo – There are no teams and the score is tracked separately for each player. The prize pool goes to one player. If there is a draw between two or more players, another round is played. If a Nil bid is successful, the player gets 50 points, if not – 50 points. No blind bid can be placed.

Pairs – Work together with your partner and help each other! Be a team and assist your partner by trying to give them the tricks they need. In return, expect to receive the same amount of help. After all, not going in the negative is the goal!

Joker-Joker-Ace – You can include the Jokers card in your game! Available for both Solo and Pairs Spades.

Suicide – Players play with a partner but with a twist. One of them must bid Nil and the other has to bid at least 4. Blind Nil bids are not available. Players should do their best to achieve synergy with their teammates to win.

Whiz – A mode designed only for the best Spades players who are ready to test their skills to the limit. Professionals play in teams and must bid the exact number of trumps they have or bid nil. No Blind Nils are allowed.

Love the way this spades game is customized. We play it often & enjoy it.
We’re not sure if its the ads interfering but the game has a habit of freezing right in the middle of game play and it’s not always immediately obvious (some people play really slow!) In a couple of cases our moves were automated "while we were away" when we were actually sitting there waiting for the other players. We have noticed that if you minimize the app for a second and then open it again the game will go against back to normal so ok. But it happens waaaaay more frequently than should be acceptable 5 or 6 times in a game. Sometimes several times in a single round which really impedes game play. If they fixed this problem we would spend more time with the app. As it is – we frequently get irritated and give it up for a different app.
Youre playing with REAL people. You never know if youre going to get a jerk or a % SPADE PLAYER.
We’ve been an avid VIP spades player for a vast long time. But after this new update its like Im mostly being paired up with bots and losing coins. And the app runs slower now. Ugh! We dont want to have to delete this app and find a new one but its looking like we may have too.
Fun to play, competitive but friendly.

Terrible game and devious developers. If you get paired up with someone and theyre making dumb plays, its probably a bot designed to throw the match so you lose. You can tell by trying to click on their pic to see their profile. If you cant view a profile, its a bot.
The company added ads to the playing table in the new update. Now the game drags and has delays. Even if you wanted to visit an ad you couldnt click on it because youre playing a game. Twice we have gone to flip cards and have ended up bidding because of the lag couldnt tell if the game was moving forward and we ended up bidding 6 or 7.
How about dealing a little more fair in the solo games. Cant win by skill if opponents continue to get 4 and 5 tricks each hand. Pathetic.
It started out as a great online game with actual players. Now its full of robots/virtual players.
We just uninstalled this app due to disruptions while playing in the middle of a game AND not receiving bonuses after watching videos AND the game takes away money from our balance to play a game that doesnt reload!
A lot has been written about this ap, but, it’s better than anything ever written in Java by a gal named Sue.

This is the best social spades app out there for sure. However, it seems the ad load and cost to play has been increasing daily. It has become so greedy compared to a few weeks ago when we downloaded it. We have had a lot of fun on here, but it isnt worth it anymore. The ads are 30-45 seconds each, and they will even play multiple back-to-back. An ad will play before we join a game, causing us to miss our first turn. A few weeks ago you could play with friends for free, but they removed that feature. Due to pure greed, the app has gone to trash in our opinion.
Something has changed recently. We prefer playing on our IPAD horizontally. In the last week, it continues to revert to portrait unless we repeatedly minimize. Please fix!
A few glitches, on the iphone you gotta keep downloading because it never updates.
Ratings need overhaul, Im tired of playing people who constantly sink our game, block so we cant report or want to be a friend, we dont, and we get the bad rating. Somehow your games should detect players who constantly send others in the negative should not be allowed to rate.
If we take the time to watch your ads all the way through in order to get a chance to open a chest for additional coins the least you can do is let us open a goddamn chest and while were at it you might want to consider letting your bonus wheel land on something besides 300 or 400 every time, also your bots need help they dont recognize when someone is trying nil they have very little strategic value at that point.
Plays ads in the middle of game cant even bid.
We have contacted support several time no answer we have sent screen shots of getting ripped off in games such as.. Other team not making there books and still winning a game. And other tram making 80 point and they get 100 at the final score our partner and we are glitched to lose some games and lost coins to play for coins. It seems this app just likes to steal money and get people to pay to gain revenue. Horrible.
If you dont spend money, expect to win about 20% of your games. We’ve played spades for 40 years of our life and NEVER had a 30 game losing streak. Always lose on the last hand and always because of a stupid mistake by the bot. Every other ap Im a 65% player. Playing for real Im a 75% player. This ap is junk. Classy response from the developer. Even more reason to stay away from this app, and every other app from this company.

We were playing a 50,000 chip game . The other team bid Noel we set them but the screen froze and when it came back on the hand was changed. The score was changed to. Dont trust Google or Apple reviews.
Playing for a while. Random times? The app crashes. They have server issues that makes this game frustrating. Be aware.
Its fun other than you have to watch a thousand videos EVERY-TIME you get chips oh and it freezes up on us a lot thats why Im making this review tired of having to delete and download it every other day..
The game is great except when you have people losing and they drag the game out. The timer in solo games is too long. When people are losing they wait the full 20 seconds or so to throw out their card. Really, they should be booted from the game.
When playing, now a commercial will pop up in the middle of the table. This needs to be fixed.
This USED to be the best cards app. Unfortunately, the latest update ruined the experience. Lost our VIP after the update, ads at every turn-banner at top of the game board, pop up during play causing you to click inadvertently on cards while trying to close the ad, held hostage after each game by an ad. Absolutely excessive. Those of us who have been loyal for years cant stand it. Time to jump ship.
We love spades but its the only game we know of where they screw over their own partner so stupid.

Buy in on cheapest beginner game is 6k$ if u win u get 9K back. Prizes are weak and hard to accumulate. In order to earn $$$ u must watch very long promo adds. Gotta watch a few to buy into a beginner game which is not good anyway. Not worth the aggravation. Ill come back if they reduce the promo vids to like 15-20sec. Bye.
. When you have an annoying player like Smallbear who took their sweet time bidding and laying out cards, plus spamming the Now What or Now we win messages, and emotes the entire 7 rounds, we want to be able to do more than just block him so we dont ever have to play him again. It was distracting and so ANNOYING.
The game is great fun with many options! Customer Service was awesome in fixing our problem and returning our chips Highly Recommended!
We have played Spades Plus for several years and enjoyed that one very much until it became very insulting with the ChatsAlthough we would enjoy being able to talk to the players more That would also make it possible for red people to make rude comments. So we guess we prefer being able to enjoy a game with positive comments and Smileys then rude people. Thank you for your game.

We have been playing on this site for over a year! The graphics are cool and they even have a voice chat option. They often try to find new ways to provide a safe and enjoyable platform for its users which separates them from many other game communities. Try it out, you wont regret it!
Overall good app for spades but as you level up, it doesnt allow you to play games with fewer points, which take less time. Its not as much the points it takes to play the longer game, as it is the time. Offer lower point games for the sake of time!!!
