Your W.E.L.D.E.R. subscription will automatically renew at the end of each month and your credit card will be charged automatically through your iTunes account. You can turn off auto-renew at any time during your free trial from your iTunes account settings and your account will not be charged. After your auto-renewing monthly subscription begins, you can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes account settings but refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term. We had a gigawatts issue and he quickly fixed the problem.
We had an issue related to the revised version of this excellent game. The developer interacted with us personally and made sure that the app was functioning perfectly for us.
Originally we bought this due to the steampunk vibe, and because we love challenging word games. The main game has basic moves explained. We enjoyed winning all of the levels twice! Now we’re working on the broken tile challenge, and we can’t find an explanation of what to do with blank broken tiles. They don’t move; they don’t act like blank tiles in other word games, where they can become any letter. Once we get to level 11, we can use all the other tiles, but we can’t win the level because of the blank ones. Could you please add a demo or explanation in words? Thanks.

We have been playing this game religiously for years… It was great. Now we wake up one day and there are commercials, and ads trying to get us to sign up for a $5 per month SUBSCRIPTION?! Dude… The game isnt THAT good. Ill just delete it and find another.
We like W.E.L.D.E.R. And play a little every day. The possible plays on every turn are infinite. You can go as slow or as fast as you like. No time limit. There are strategies to explore. You can continue on the level you just finished.
This is such an intriguing game. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it, but once you do, youre hooked! Sometimes we dont have enough games in Game Center with our friends, so we have three or four games playing simultaneously!
We’ve played this game for years and it never gets boring.
We think we’ve been playing this game for nearly 10 years and truly truly love it. That said, we waste so much game time hitting the menu button and checking to see if your dictionary will let us use a word that is in virtually every other dictionary on the planet! We play the game in the more invested. We are in our score and maintaining forward progress, the more we know we absolutely must toggle between the two screens. At the end of our last game, we scored in the top 1% globally. Clearly, we love this game and Im giving you all five stars, but the more we become a serious player the more frustrated we are about this issue. We’ve read peoples frustrations with the upgrades, so we will not be getting those we just really love a better dictionary!
Latest versions have been very smooth. Love the daily hint to add to strategy, wish we had more friends to play!
Have had this game for quite a while, but it never gets old. Starts out really easy but each level gets harder. We love word games and this one stands the test of time.

We would give this a 5+ star rating but was never able to get our Gigawatts restored after the migration. We contacted developer couple of times. The instructions never worked. Still play only as two player. We used to play solo very frequently. Lost our enthusiasm when we lost our Gigawatts.
We wrote this same review about two years ago, after there were a series of updates on our iPhones & iPads. The app developer is slow to update this app. Just like in the past, we are playing the same turn over and over again, and have to constantly sign in and sign out of Game Center. Sometimes the game just spins and spins, not recognizing the turn just completed. Rebooting the device doesnt help either. As Yogi Berra once said, its dj vu all over again! Please update the app! Uninstalled it because all of a sudden it starts displaying some other name not ours. What happened to our game? This was several months ago. We had played under that name for years and loved it.
Get rid of the childish nonsense.
We play this occasionally, but then move on for months. Id gladly pay to buy the game. But a monthly fee? No way. The game is now unplayable due to the number of ads.
So even if we dont want to pay, for no ads, it wont let us progress to the next level. This is just wrong.
We have played this for years, mostly on planes. We paid for the app. Now we were told to migrate and lost our levels and have to put up with ads! Boo!
Ads constantly pop up in the middle of your game unless you pay the developer five dollars a month. Thats basically extortion. Deleted.
The game is currently not saving your turns.
We played the old free and ad free version and love this game. We get that people want to make some money off of this so pushed us all to new version – thats ok. But the number and intrusiveness of the ads is just greedy and ridiculous and $60/year is just too much for ad free. Need other options to play, please.
We lost all progress, now we have ads the entire experience with this new app ruined the game for everyone.
We still enjoy legacy better than this one. Too many ads now. Also the migration didnt work. Update: and now they want to charge us to go past Level 7. Dropped this to one star. This used to be our favorite Apple game. Really sad.
We have the legacy version. Tried migration multiple times to no avail. We get a code sent by SMS but no ability to enter code in the app (all greyed out). The new version is unplayable with all the ads. Terrible experience.
Almost every time we go to dictionary to check spelling, and then go back to game, we touch a tile to move but the tile JUMPS!! We lose a jump! Some times we touch a tile and it jumps completely out of game (into outer space?). Some times we touch a tile in upper left corner and that tile wont move (freezes). Im tired of losing points due to work needing to be done on your game so above doesnt happen. It makes your customer (me) unhappy. Sincerely, Jackie.
We’ve played W.E.L.D.E.R for about 10 years, starting when there were just 15 levels. Every once in a while we go down in flames before completing Level 30, but our brain is now filled with weird words that usually rescue us. Particularly recommend for introverts, as the classic game is not timed and you can leave the game and return to it after a break. UPDATE: still our favorite brain game.
We have been playing this game since 2012. We play every day. Individual and competitive challenges different than any other game we have tried. It never gets dull.
Our devotion to this game has outlasted our marriage. It has plenty of game variants though the main thing is 1-1 play.

We’ve been WELDing for years and love it! Use the tutorial to learn the various tiles. It seems like a lot but its not, and definitely makes you think.

We’ve been playing WELDER for about 10 years. Its by far our favorite word game and always has been. We’ve turned several people on to it, and theyve become addicted as well. In fact, playing this game is helping us to deal with the stress of being isolated during the pandemic. This game is always challenging and never boring! If you plan to play this game, our advice is to play the one person game first several times. Then move on to an opponent.

This game really makes you think., Sometimes resulting in Brain Burn. However we do love it and we continue to play!!!
We have been playing welder for about 10 years, love it. Especially enjoy playing with other member. Have made a cross country friend from playing welder. We are 82 yrs old and play everyday.
This game has become pay to win in PvP games. If you subscribe to their in-app subscription, you get unlimited hints which will basically show you were all the moves are, where the words are, and makes it nearly impossible to win a game against someone who is paying their subscription. We used to really enjoy this game.
We receive the code to enter, but the dialog box to enter the code into doesnt work, no matter where we touch, no keyboard comes up and we cant paste the code either. Tried restarting, etc. Update Id given up on getting this to work after trying everything suggested to migrate, then the developer contacted us months later with a fix. 5 stars for the customer service alone!

Not just a great game, a great mental challenge. Over the years we have played, we’ve developed many ways to improve our score. Its still a thrill to score a word thats worth one million plus points. Our personal goal is 15 million total for the 15 games; we’ve come close but not made it yet. RP.
Been playing for five years or more, love it.
We used to love this game. It was our favorite word game. Now we bought the dictionary and cant even find it in the app. Another problem is sometimes when we first touch a square it switches it with a square on its own. We made it to level 9 but when we went in today it had put us back to level 8. The last and most frustrating thing is there are words in the dictionary that we try to use and the game will reject them. Sooo frustrating!!!
