Bought a few daily packs to get some promotion orders to upgrade generals but we didnt have enough copper yet so we didnt use any yet well we had over 1000 of them and now we have 439 items disappear Customer service is awful, rude and not helpful at all Apple needs to ban this game for fraud.
This game used to be great. Then they started catering it to the big spenders. They have added too much stuff that only big spenders can attain. They think they have u because once u spend, u have to continue to keep up. Their customer service is awful, if you can get through to them. We do not recommend them at all. Findanother game.
We love how you have so much control of your troops. It helps when you can have a formation. Not very important but still nice is that it gives you a character and preset name.
We used to have this but it was so bad and they also started stealing footage from hundreds of YouTubers for their fake adds.
We also loss today along with 13,000 skutterudite about 2,500 meteorite Isent email on the first loss but today after losing more items that has taken us a lot of months and time to consume we really about done. We love the game and on spending over USA $70.00 plus a month. We are having hard time also getting some to explain how to get new password for that we purchased a new iphone and forgot password. So for like 5 months that we can not use new phone. Every time we have purchase problem they want proof of purchase from everyone but paypal. We also can not move base from one location to another even with right adv. Relocation order which have spent gold we do not know how many times. Game is horrible for players who dont spend big money. The devs as in most games are greedy..but as long as there are players willing to spend big the devs could care less about the little guy Game is no longer fun. We are done and will not come back to it.
The game is fun. No challenge, no stress. Just keep upgrading and playing.

Unbelievable the morons in the game and the developers only listen if youre Chinese.
Developers do nothing to stop cheating, illegal selling of accounts, players having multiple accounts and is all just a money grab. Spend time and money on something more useful. Apple should cancel this app as the developers provide certain Chinese players with additional items before release to the rest. Bunch of fraud.
The game does not respond to emails which is the only to contact them. They false advertise game prizes and you spend money and get prizes that are not even listed as a possible prize. They have changed the power of items during event you spent money on while the event is still running. They change drop rates on items it seems on items on a regular basis, so it is nearly impossible to plan on how to build your account. Many players have left the game, due to these issues. They actually renamed the app in the google play store due to issues they had. Does this sound like a reputable company? When you try to contact them to find out what is going on they just ignore your emails. Do not reward them with your hard earned money.
It will take you hundreds of emails t get any resolution when the game doesnt give you your purchase … If they answer at all.
Ive held off rating this game because we spent a little money and invested a lot of time, but the gloves are off!! Ive played this game for 3yrs and ant farms dont have as many bugs as this game. Between bad updates, server lag, random shutdowns, insane prices for upgrades this game is truly for the masochist. If you want to waste hours of your life to be way less than a mediocre player; you can spend your pay check and be marginally better. Please avoid this game.

This game is so addicting and fun! Made so many friends from alliances. So many parts and strategies to this game and it never gets dull. Love it.
Spend hours playing this game each day. Its increasing levels of intricacy are actually fun. The developers are generally unresponsive else Id give it 5 stars.
Its impossible to get a response from the developer. We have emailed numerous times about an account that we cant access now after last upgrade. We had spent over a hundred dollars on that account for nothing now.
Game would be pretty good except for the fact every time they do a 3 hour update it wont let you log back in to the game. Update was suppose to take 3 hours. It has now been almost 10 hours and we still Cant log in. Meanwhile we are getting notifications that we are being attacked and cant do anything to help our troops. That takes this game from 4 stars to 2 stars.
If you do not have an unlimited credit card limit, this game is not for you. It is fun to play, but the new owners are money hungry.

These developers are masters of the con. The will take your money and offer to support when you didnt get what you paid for. The total silence that comes when sending emails is telling in that they take your money and run. Please dont waste your time or money supporting these con artists.
The title of this game should be enough to convince you of how bad it is. For years they have used footage of much better games such as Total War: Empire to promote their lifeless and unoriginal game. Blatant false advertising.
Ive been a longtime player of WoC and Ive seen and heard of so many situations where players have paid money but never received the game funds or glitches with buying in game items (not to mention all the gameplay glitches). The developers do not respond to emails and do not solve problems. A recent issue that Ive personally seen is with the supreme year card. We purchased this close to the beginning of the year, assuming it would last for a year. Yesterday, we still had 200-something days left on it. And today, it says to reactivate it. Is it a glitch? Or are the developers committing fraud with their game? Who knows. And this issue wont be resolved like all the other issues players have seen. If you want to play the game, play it, just dont waste your money on it because its not an honest investment. Theyll take your money and run away with it.
The game caters to the rich HUGE money pit. Bad graphics, unrealistic battles ,not family friendly. TONS of glitches affecting game play and the developers are virtually unreachable.

Although we liked playing this game, the customer service is terrible. We were locked out of the game after the developer update. We went to log in and nothing. We contacted the developers via email. In the past we would usually get a response in a day or 3. Waited, waited and on day 3, we sent another email. Waited, waited and sent another email on day 4, and day 5 and so on and so on. Well after 14 days of escalated emails we contacted Apple to request a refund for money we spent in the game. Apple was able to refund us our most recent purchase, but alas we are out for the remainder, no access to the game and no email from the developer. We would steer clear of this game, unless you have a lot of money and dont care if one day you simply cant play anymore.
Game is fun if you are into history. Problem we have is high level people continue attacking the lower people. Hard to get farther on the game when the high level players continue to attack lower level players. Developers need to make the playing field more even.
Good game, but the last week all it does is spin whenever we try to do anything. We keep missing out on stuff from the challenges because it says we did them after the game closes, but it never gets to the point where we actually get the stuff.

The adds are just stolen from pixelated Apollo and Napoleon total war and those to things are leaps and bounds better than this game.

The whole game is based on who can spend the most. All the power spenders jump to one alliance so they dont get attacked by anyone who causes them any losses. Personally we dont see why anyone would pay thousands of dollars to play a game and not want any competition or even have any sort of challenge to be on top. The top alliance has all the top 20 players and most are twice the power of the rest of the server. The hilarious part is these fools think theyve actually accomplished something. They even brag about spending $30,000.00 on one account. But, if you are a fool with your money and want to feel important then this game is for you.
We got many adds that were stolen footage from YouTubers that we watch.
Do not download and waste ur money the developers will do nothing if something happens to ur account they are rude and do not care if ur money is spent and u get nothing they will also drain your personal bank account with small charges to make it look like you spent your money and the fact that the pictures of this game are very in accurate if you spend be warned they will never answer u.
Ive been playing for about 2 years we love it. But right now Im not able to log on to our server 123! It very unusual because the developers always let us know when they are doing a update!!! Hopefully we will be compensated.

This game is ok but the developers get greedy and take away things that used to be vital to play. Top players spend in the 10,000 range to be the big guy on the server. Its a stupid waste of money. Players can raid you while gathering resources and theres nothing you can do about it , if they dont gather and keep their castle bubbled. We bet theres 25 things the developers have taken away since we started a year ago. You must spend several thousand to be mediocre at this game or spend 6 years becoming a medium size player.
We put our banking app on our phone and to our surprise we saw the charges from War of Colony! We were very upset to see we were being charged 9.99 for a charge that should have only been 4.99 (we do know they add up like 3 charges into one) next of these charges added up! Some did, so to make sure we waited a 2 weeks the made a purchase of 4.99 they charged us 13.99, like an idiot we bought another 4.99 daily deal and saw they charged us like 23.99! Really upset we sent WOC a email about this, they responded with they needed to see the receipts so we sent each receipt a total of 10! After that we did not get a response back nor a refund! We have cancelled our credit card which we now know to never use! Use we tunes card! Several people we play with either said it happened to them or they knew someone it happened to being overcharged.
We sent 3 emails a week ago with our issue of not being able to log in. We sent photos of receipts and not 1 reply.
