Lynn, the good witch, and her witch-hunter husband Edward, are about to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary. But an evil sorcerer has plans of his own, and they don’t involve a happy ending for these two unlikely lovebirds. As usual, the artists at EleFun did a wonderful job of being weird, eerie, spooky and witty all at once. Their work is intricate and often beautiful; Ive played games several times just to look more closely at scenes and especially, to once again hear the music. We think the music in the Witches Legacy games is stunning. The puzzles here are entertaining, challenging but not too frustrating.
This is one of the better of its genre. The map works well and it shows you if you have collected all of the puzzle pieces to be found in a scene. The mini-games are a good level for someone that plays to unwind and doesnt really want to spend an hour solving the puzzle. We had ours set to easy so they might be more of a challenge if you have the difficulty up. An accurate map that shows where the next action is really comes in handy if we havent played in a few days and just dont remember where we are in the plot. It allows us to just solve each step as it comes without having to go through screen after screen looking for the next action. We realize some players really want a challenge but work is challenging enough for some of us. We appreciate that it can be played at varying degrees of difficulty.
So very entertaining and fun. Well worth the money spent to play such an interesting and interactive game. There was quite obviously a lot of work that went into the creating of this great experience. Thank you very much we thoroughly enjoyed playing. Lori.
Im enjoying this game. Our favorite pastime is playing these games! This one has the added joy of finding puzzle pieces, morphing objects and signs.
We enjoy games by this developer, especially the map with the indicators fo where you have things to do and if you have found all the collectibles in the area. There are two flaws in this game, the map stopped working at one point, although it started working again, and the antagonist in this, and many other games, always seem to be female. Rather sexist, dont you think.
Very good game. Many puzzles are challenging. Great graphics. Load times are a little long, but scenes are complex.
Great game and we enjoyed it except for two things. Loading between EVERY scene and task…so aggravating and all the voices were very annoying.
Im not that far into the game, yet, but we give it four stars because the graphics and the game are pretty good. The only problem Ive noticed is we have to tap on some items multiple times before connecting to whatever it connects to.
We really dislike the creepy little elf helper. He annoys us in all the games in this series. We dislike the puzzle where you need to reposition characters to match the pose in a picture. We didn't like the train puzzle. It responded too slowly and made the puzzle tedious, rather than challenging. The HO scenes were okay. The map seemed okay. Seems like an old game, though it's presumably new. Not worth $6.99 for us. When the price comes down, we may buy it.
Overall, we liked the game. Puzzles were interesting, nice storyline and pleasant music. Our real complaint is the load times between scenes. In the main story it's just about tolerable, but in the bonus chapter it's much worse. We timed the longest one and it as 40 seconds. Doesn't sound bad but when you frequently have to change scenes it adds up to a whole lot of waiting.
Until the map stopped working. Cant really continue because we liked to know if we got all the hidden objects we were supposed to find. Is there a fix for this.
While we enjoyed the game – as far as we got in it – we did not enjoy being booted all the way back to the beginning not once, but twice. We wish we could get a refund.
30% off games right now=$4.99, 40% off games =$3.99, 55% off games =$2.99 65% off games =$2.99… Stop saying they are 65% off…. If they were they would be $2.14 or around there…it is false advertising.
They give you a slider to turn off the voices, and the first thing that happens in the game is it yammers at you. The instant after we have sent this we will delete the game. Ugh.
