We really enjoy playing this game.
It's a clever game in its design because it rewards you for correct answers, but does not cost you anything when wrong. The hints are good and cost a bunch of points, but it makes you really try to solve the word puzzle instead of just jumping to a hint. Also clever way for the developer to make some money by selling points if you've run out. Great game.
Brain teaser is not the word! This game really makes you think.

It's very fun and also helps us keep our brain active while we're out sick from school since we recently came down with the flu.
The game is fun. It provides good mental stimulation. We're only on the 10th level it's easy right now looking forward to the increased challenge.

TBH we're just writing this because we would really like to earn an extra 250 coins in this dang game because we're not able to figure out the current word without hints. It's kind of fun, but surprisingly pretty difficult to figure out some of these words. We don't like how they don't let you move on to different levels or challenges unless you complete the current ones. If you don't mind cheating like we did, then we also would like to recommend scrabble word finder in order to get some of these words. Thank you to whoever actually took the time to read this review that we wrote out of complete necessity.
We really enjoy this game, it really makes you think in different ways. Not every answer will be what you may think is the obvious answer so you have to think out of the box.

Great source of entertainment for our kids 12,14,& 16! They like to peer over our shoulder and argue over what letter goes where and what the word could be, what other words you could make. Great way to keep our brains firing and ready to go.
But took a star off for bribing us with coins to leave a 5 star review . So the 5 star reviews of this game are prolly inflated b/c of that. Just like to be transparent.

The company behind this app bought our email and continuously spams it with advertisements about Witty Scholar. We decided to check it out to see what the scam is about. The first thing we notice, for some reason this app requests Bluetooth permission. What could they possible need that for?? Protect your privacy, save your time, do not download this app.
The app Witty Scholarship is a very intriguing and entertaining. We would give this app 4 stars because of its way of teaching you how prefixes and suffixes are different but can be very similar. We liked this app because it was the best languag arts app we have downloaded because of its interesting methods and studies. We would use the app on personalities if you could learn the words prefixes and suffixes if you get it wrong. Compared to the other app this one teaches you more and helps you understand what the prefixes and suffixes do. We would recommend this to 6th graders or below because we think it would be to easy for 8th graders and above.
Clean and simple. But not always easy.

Had this app for almost a year before playing… Should have played it from the start…it's addicting.
Haven't had the app long but so far so good.
They make u rate five stars for extra coins but still is a fun and addicting games and ads aren't constant.
