Find out what gamers are saying about Word Mess:

Out of all the word games we have installed this one remains our favorite. Most others we have deleted. It looks easy but it has a way of tricking your brain. Makes it challenging and good for your mind.

UPDATE: The app is fixed so we’re revising our review back to 5 stars. 4 for the game and an extra star for the prompt manner in which the developer addressed the issue and personally replied to our review! Experiencing the same issue as other reviewer’s on the iPad where the screen is too large. Please fix so we can give you the 4-5 star rating that the game itself deserves.

Im getting older and we think this game keeps our reflexes sharp. Its the perfect game when you have some time to pass. We love the music too!

Excellent game. Smart, quick and challenging. Good for play with family and friends. Love it!

This is a fun game! When we take our mother to appointments we always play because the words are big enough for her to see. After an intermediate update the screen did not fit our iPad. (Couldn’t see the top and bottom of the screen.) we wrote the developer who fixed it right away. It’s all good again and offers great support. Thanks!

Yay, thanks for the super fast fix!

Thank you for fixing the game. We thoroughly enjoy playing it. Like the little ‘eye’ help.

We would rate this game 5 stars but It gets boring real fast. It needs a variety of challenges!!!! Three challenges one rhyme. One find the word. Boring.

We have had this game for several years and we love playing it. However, it needs a change in categories and how random the same ones circulate. Ours rotates the same categories over and over again. For example, we had European countries about a month or so ago and havent seen it since. We play this game about 5 days a week. It would also be nice to earn tickets instead of having to pay for them.

We love this gameplayed a lot while recovering from surgery. Why dont you include educators with Professionals? We know we all have college degrees and beyond. Also education should be with college studies. Shame on you for leaving teachers out!

As others said, update makes the game unplayable on iPad. Too large for screen. 4-5 stars otherwise.

This game is quick and challenging. Color is used to hide some words. May increase your vocabulary.

So Much Fun!!! Super challenging & several ways to play! Best word/brain game Ever!!! Must get!!!

We use Word Mess with our Chinese students, it’s a great way for them to learn and practice saying new words. Every time they find the word, they must say it.

We are addicted. Our favorite is categories. We must say that if we played much with rhyming, we wouldn’t be so happy… Words are not always matched correctly, even when taking various dialects of English into consideration (both American regional and across countries). However, categories is very appealing, and if you’re not careful, you’ll lose half a day without even knowing it!

We don’t play games and have no games installed on our phone/pad. However this is great! Well-excuted, fun, educational! We like it.

When we were in third grade our school iPads had this game and when we were in fourth grade we looked at our iPad and we were so sad because this game was our FAVE!!! So we love this game and we hope this company will make awesome games like this!

Great fun. If you like word games give it a try.

This is a great game for increasing one’s ability to read, perceive, visual acuity, learn rhymes, and other language skills. However , it is disheartening to have to start at level one every time you fail and do not have tickets. It would help if one would be penalized by loosing 3-4 levels only. Even then one would tale a lifetime to get to the end of the levels.

This has the potential to be an extremely fun game, even for an adult. It is unfortunate that the writers made a few glaring errors. The one that annoys us most is in the category of hairstyles. Should anyone responsible for this game happened to be reading, please make note: quaff refers to a beverage, coif is a word for hairdo!

You sometimes lose because words that are not there during the game appear out of thin air when the game is over.

About to check this out but the description is deceptive. Says #1 word game September 2014. Considering it’s only March they must be time travelers.

This could be an enjoyable challenge except that many of the rhyming words don’t. The games sets you up to fail.

We loved this game until we played it last night and the theme was English writers. Wasn’t happy that plastered all over the screen among great writers all listed with their full name was the name "Obama". No first and middle name or initial like everyone else, just Obama all over the screen. We play the word games to escape the news, not to have that name glaring at us in what was a fun game. Will be deleting this app after posting our review. Shame on you!

The premise of this game is relaxing and fun to play. However the puzzles are extremely limited in number. The same puzzles are recycled again and again. Hoping we could increase the number we tried buying tickets. We made a $10 purchase at the maestro level. We ended up spending $30 because of the ambiguous questions asked at time of purchase. It is difficult to believe that the wording of the question is unintentional. The problem could be fixed with the addition of one word.

This game is so fun. Word search mode was a good start and the other modes really up the intensity!

Every time we play we just can never se to put it down. We also love that there is no limit of levels. Definitely worth getting.

Love the addictive aspect and the fact that you go back to square one if you goof up. Great job!

We keep playing this game all day!! It’s very addictive.. Just love it :)

Helps you find. Things. In hurry. So much fun…

Not going to lie, this app is kind of addictive!

We love this game! We heard about it from a friend and thought it looked interesting but we had no clue it would be so addicting. We play it whenever we’re sitting around or just have a free moment. Ridiculous fun for a sick price.

It’s a great game. Being playing it all the time since we have downloaded it. Too addictive. Great work guys!! Cheers and keep playing!

This is such a fun game.. It’s so addicting! It nicely transitioned from word search to other more challenging levels. As a teacher, we feel like it can help expose kids to new vocabulary words. Love word mess! Keep it up masala games! :)

This is like Where’s Waldo for words with lots of fun modes to keep you on your toes. This will be fun to play with a friend since both people can touch when they find words. Kind of reminds us of those Megatouch Photo Hunt games, but we won’t have to put in a coin or go to a bar to play!

Haven’t run into a Word game in a loonngg while that is as addictive as this. Downloaded it yesterday and ended up missing our U-Bahn stop in Berlin cause we were looking down at the screen rather than up at the station. We like it even better after we "discovered" how to turn off the music — it was fine but gets a little tiring after about 20 min or so.

We wish you could save progress & play against other ppl…

Great and challenging word game. If you like pictureka you’ll love this fun take and word play.

We love playing this at all hours of the day; however, our favorite time for playing this game is when we don’t how quickly we will have to put it down, e.g. The doctor’s or dentist’s office, or in a restaurant. One night while babysitting, our 8 year old granddaughter wanted to use our iPad to play games. First though, she & we played several rounds of Word Mess together. It was such a wonderful bonding time. Several days later, we told our husband we were proud of myself for recognizing a scientist we had barely heard of. Then we pulled out the game while we waited on our order in a restaurant, and we played together. When our food arrived, the waitstaff also thought it looked like lots of fun. We also pulled it out while waiting for the dentist. We quickly finished our game as she got out new gloves for her hands. There are so many ways to play, and if you’re having an off day, that’s all it is. Welcome to a whole new way of enjoying word games!

We were unsure about this game but after the first round in quick game we totally love it. Our only issue is small but we wish it was optimized for the iPhone/iTouch 5. The black bars on the borders of the game can be distracting.

Exercises your brain. Great word game. Well-polished. Sometimes hard to find the really tiny words even on the retina iPhones. Fat fingers don’t help either.

This game is so much fun as a warming up for our class , we really wish for a feature that allows us to choose or write the words myself . Just to make the game more perfect . Other than that it’s the best our class liked it so much thanks so much.

This is the most relaxing and fun game!!! We just bought it and can’t put it down! Worth all $0.99!!!! You won’t regret getting this awesome game. It’s simple enough that you can just pick it up and play to pass time while you’re waiting, yet fun and creative enough to keep you addicted!

Love this game… So do our co-workers, they need to get their own!

Love the game but we have two issues: 1. As previously mentioned, it loads upside down. 2. It would be nice to have a feature where you didn’t have to go all the way back to level one when you fail at level 18. For instance you could go back to level 10 or 15 if you fail at level 20, and go back to level 15 when you fail at level 25.

Zouk! This guy must have been to Singapore or KL.

It teaches you to be quick moving.

By LanaRich This game is a thought provoker. We can’t leave it alone.

Best word game since Scrabble!
