Love the game but what is with the screen ads that cover the game every 2 seconds lol of the sudden.
The game is good but its hard to reach and administrators we made a purchase and couldnt cancel it and it didnt charge us right away and it held purchases up to 2 weeks before charging our card and charged us for 2 at a time so we were impossible to keep up with so we ended up paying for things we didnt need for longer then we needed them for. Its a good game but we would be careful spending money on the app.
Yes as the top comment says the game is broken. It has a great relaxing soundtrack BUT it often tries to play a second jangly honky tonk soundtrack on top of it. Very annoying when that second soundtrack shows up and both try to play at the same time. But we like the game. We think its the best of the circle word searches, frankly, with a deep word table. Though it doesnt have aril ? Please fix tournaments. We can tell those bot wins are not real when the real players drop suddenly after riding in first place up to the end of the tournament.
Theres an ad that pops up that you cant get rid of. We have a screen shot of it. Where do we post it.

If you like having a Ad pop up after each level you may enjoy this game. For us its too too much.
Was enjoying the game but then found it very slow going. Thought that it had some obscure words. We then googled a few and found some are not acceptable scrabble words. That took the fun out of it. It is really unsatisfying to use a hint or have a lucky guess and stare at the result and think, thats not a word. Thats a sound, slang, proper name, or complete nonsense.
Ads pop up often that you dont get an option to decline. If you click on ad it asks for personal info and you cant verify legitimacy. Takes awhile for it to clear out. Fun game otherwise.
This game was pretty enjoyable for about the first 150 levels and then got stupidly hard. For example, one level ignored perfectly normal words like draw and ear but included the words rand (a currency in South Africa), wen (a cyst on the skin), and wared (which the game couldnt even find a definition for). We appreciate a challenge, but at that point we were just guessing letter combinations and it was no fun at all. We do not recommend unless you have a thorough knowledge of archaic and nonsense words.
This game offers letters to make words. We achieved level 200 right away.
So many of these games are exactly the same but this one is actually different. It is crossword style and we really enjoy it.
04/28/2025 UPDATE Software Update 1.294 Im not sure where our pets escaped to, but they are home today!! Thank You Word Nut ~~~~~ we play this game daily. Yesterday we had the paw print tab, pets & bowls. Now, food bowls and pets is gone from the screen. Software Update 1.292 04/16/2025 Ill update when this is corrected.
We love the game itself, however after every puzzle and every time we open the app we have to sit through ads. You really need the option other games have of a one time purchase to remove ads.
We posted a review a while back about how we got around level 650 and it could not be beat and that there was no more free time videos left. Well we were going to delete it and we decided we were going to keep trying to beat it and we did. Somewhere around the 650 level youre going to have a few levels that are really hard to beat and you have very little time to do it. On top of that, you will not have any videos to watch to get free time added on that being said If you keep working at it, you will get past those levels and your times go back up to having a minute and a half, etc. Our advice is to save coins up to add time if needed since if you dont use your free videos sparingly you will be out by that point . Im almost to level 800 and we enjoy the game immensely , Its one of our favorites. So hang in there and get past it.

Good game till about level 16 or so then there is an ad after every hand. We will delete and dont suggest anyone use this.

This game frequently has misspelled words and words that are not real words. Very frustrating and needs to be fixed.
Blast should be an option. Most times we dont even want it because it doesnt really clear anything.

One thing that bugs us is this, what are the earned animal cards (Simon, etc.) good for? Ive looked all over and cant find any use for them; they just keep building up. And the nuts as well? There are many thousands of them but whats the point of having them? We ought to be able to barter nuts for coins, or trade cards for coins, since coins are the only thing of value. Other than that, we enjoy playing it every day. Edit: 2 years later: still looking for an answer to what good are the cards and nuts? They just keep building up and are useless as far as we can tell.
It would be nice to be able to turn off all the interminable animations. Can you add a setting please.
There are too many ads and they are long. There is an ad after each puzzle. Not enough game time.
What a great game! Ive been playing it for years. In the last few months you have ads that you cannot exit out of. Have to shut our iPhone down to restart game. Not fun at all. Looking for a new word game.
Some puzzles are so simple and right now in a 700 level puzzle, we have 41 words not in the puzzle. Very frustrating since we know many of our missing spots will not even be real words. Thats not learning.
The game is great fun. But the frequency and length of ads are a huge annoyance. Not objecting to having ads but this is the worse game we have played regarding the length of ads and sometimes there are more than one together. Sooooooo time consuming. It discourages us from playing. Also have to spend 120 coins for one hint. That is way too many for the hard to get coins.
Starts off with limited ads then goes to NOTHING BUT ADS and then its difficult to get back to the game. Tries to trick you to click on them. Dont download this.
Ive been playing this game for a long time and enjoy it however, there are a few problems that prevent us from giving it five stars. First of all, there is no longer any purpose to collecting all those acorns because theres nothing to spend them on anymore. Second it frequently discounts real words and considers them errors. And third, although we have placed either first or second in many competitions in recent months, we have received almost no rewards. They used to show up shortly after the competition ended. Now they no longer show up at all.
Some of the words they have you solve for are not even real words. It becomes bogus after a while .. yawn.
What is annoying about Royal Match is the ads for it , especially now with people we dont know saying there is no ads during game.we will never play it especially because the ads run so long and sometimes you cant even close out of them.
For about the last week, the game has been freezing randomly.
We love this game, but what is taking our points away? We had over 300 and next time we went on our points were only 125. We never used clues but there must be a reason for this.
Thoroughly enjoy Word Nut and would give it 5 stars. Except for one ongoing problem. The game fails to give rewards for ranking in the top 10 in a tournament. This has happened time and time again. We have contacted help twice but all they told us was that the developers were working on the problem to include in a future update. They advised us to be on the home screen, doing nothing but waiting, a few minutes before a tournament ends and that was the most likely way to get our rewards. We have tried this more than once and have still not gotten any rewards for ranking in the top 10 in tournaments. They did send us compensation in the form of coins and pet food. That was very nice of them but really the problem needs to be fixed. It cant be that hard. Other games we play have no problems with giving out rewards.
We have been playing this game for over two years. We mostly love it. But for the past few weeks, the ability to watch ads for coins and pet food is completely unavailable. It has been replaced by the spinning wheel of death that will not allow any ads. Ours has been stuck in perpetual spin mode for weeks. We know many other players are having the same issue, so a glitch update is necessary. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!! Ive contacted help and their response is to force close the game, and if that doesnt work, delete and reinstall the game. We did all of that, and it didnt work.
Love this game but for 2 days its been stuck on Tournament Results and wont move. Any ideas please.
Great game except for the forced fast finishwhen offered there is no opportunity to play on anyway. Therefore if you have stepped away or are stumped for a bit you cannot complete the game as intended. Unfortunately that is enough to take the fun out of the game and relegate it to a waste of time. Otherwise it would have been an excellent way to enjoy and spend some thought provoking time.
We absolutely love this game! We can play this game almost 24 hrs a day. We find some of the words to be ???, especially when we get the response of having trouble. That, to us means theres probably no such thing. But we still play the guessing game with those. We didnt rate it a five because of the endless, repetitive, constant ads. The game is a need for us and we find Im getting quicker at it. But these ads!! We sat through 2 minutes of the very same, uninterested, irrelevant ad. Went to the ad before we solved, after and again before we solved another. This is just ridiculous. Not only unnerving, but a total disruption. We have gotten soo far in this game, but the ads are getting worse and worse. Please do something about this. We totally understand about ads. They are useless and totally unnecessary, especially when we dont have use or even read them. It seems as we get further, wechat more ads.
Game will not open. Last week the letters would not appear. Now the game just closes itself every time we try to open it.

The ads are so long we think we fall asleep. We just watched an ad that we forget what Im planning. Is this owned by YouTube.
The ads take away from the game itself. Women being slapped around is not entertaining at all. We wont support any apps that has them. Im tired of being subjected to crappy ads. Do better.
This game has become so ridiculous.Its not even challenging anymore because the puzzles arent even real words. Ive deleted it.
Noticed since the last update, the number of points is no longer displayed on the main screen. It forces us to go to the library screens to determine how many points we have to play the new books unopened.
Every level contains extremely obscure words. Not fun.

It took an hour to find a nickname to submit our review. REALLY!!!! We enjoyed playing this game until the last four or five updates removed our ability to see players in other teams; allowed android players to cheat; decreased the coins earned for watching ads; ruined the game screen; and eliminated our ability to remove ads WITHOUT paying for them.

Got to level 1580 before we got stumped. Great game for an old mind. Enjoyed it so much Im going to start over. New level challenge for ourselves.
Annoying that it doesnt recognize some valid scrabble words. Today we entered EATS. Didnt recognize it and we lost our progress just annoying. But we keep playing.
