We used to love this game but the ads have taken over!!! We hope you fix it.
We would have given this app a 3 if it wasnt for all the invites to download multiple apps between every round. After a few rounds, we gave uplost interest.
Used to like this game but now there are to many adds !!!! :-(.
We do like that you can now look up words within the game, but the interaction is pretty bad. It doesnt respond as fast as we can go, and many times the letter we select blinks as if it was activated, but doesnt show up in the solution area. We just end up getting frustrated and shut it off. Its disappointing, because the original game was a go-to for us.
Used to be great game decades ago. Now certain ads stop the game. You are aware of it. We have to reboot our iPad to get rid of the ad. So frustrating. Why cant you fix this.
We have opened deleted redownloaded several time over the last week. If there is a jigsaw add, nice little colorful square, about half of the time it wont budge the page is static. You can get nothing to move, appear, disappear. If we delete the app and reinstall and yes even turned our iPad if and on. Itll work for a while maybe a day. Then it freezes again, always with this jigsaw square frozen.
Re-loaded this game yesterday and now we remember why we deleted it previously.too many ads. You ruined a perfectly good game and there is no option to pay a small one -time fee to remove ads.
The most recent update fixed the problems we wrote about in our earlier review and improved the game: it now waits after a round is over so you can see what words you missed. Thanks to the developers for responding to concerns.
New update does not proceed to the next level.
Ive been playing this game for years but lately the ads are just too much, and some of them force you to actually play a demo or they wont go away. Is there a premium version with no ads? Otherwise Im deleting this.

Good but could be better December 08, 20247:15 am USA, Eastern; Three stars we've been playing this game since 2017 and prefer it over any other word game. Mainly it's because it gets right to the game without annoying contests, pop ups, or other intrusive machinations. The downside is the programming is kludgy. We can't replace 'one' letter without tapping to remove all the letters after it. There is no way to drag letters. We asked for these features years ago BTW. There is no Recall button and the End game button is too big. We have hit it accidentally too many times over the years.. We also requested these changes years ago. Our first priority would be additional background colors that complement each other better and are more 3D looking. The current ones bother our eyes. It would be nice if the sounds were different for using a repeat word from a wrong word from a successful word. About the Ads after every game another reviewer noted; To all developers for all games, you don't need to run ads after every game. You can program them to run every two to three games. Nobody clicks on them because they are more frequent. For us, it ticks us off and we ignore all of them. So you are not making money that way. Sent from our iPad, No carrier.
How do we get rid of the adds? We have used for years and like the app, but frustrated with ads. If there is no way to get rid of them, we will delete the app.
Ive had this app on our phone probably longer than any other, at least 10 years. It is simple and even though we were willing to pay for the upgrade, it wasnt the same app without ads; it was a completely different app. So there is no way to get rid of ads. Instead of an ad after 3-5 turns like it started, there is now an ad after every turn. We rarely play anymore due to the annoying ads. The app works well. The developer has made some minor enhancements but not any big changes in years. Response to your response: the game owners (not the original developer as it was sold to mobilityware several years ago) have posted the same response to every critical review for the past 5 years and have turned deaf ears to the players of this game. We have earned every badge offered but Im ready to look for a new game.
The ads make it almost unplayable for more then a few rounds. Having to watch an ad in between each round quickly becomes tedious. We would happily pay a few bucks to get rid of them as we love this game. We wish there was some kind of option to do that. Otherwise, it would easily be a solid five stars.
We like the game, but there are too many ads. We like playing, but there is an ad that lasts for ever between each game. It seems there have been more and more ads as you play. If you download the app being advertised you invite more ads. It is becoming so annoying we are considering removing the game from our phone.

We rediscovered this old favorite game after several years away. Im not anti-ad, but even with our audio settings set to mute, there are some days ads play after every round and with full sound. Its gotten pretty annoying and may chase us off again.
This game is simple and basic and awesome. Its the best app for a flight or to kill time. But. There is no paid version to remove the ads. AND the ads are ridiculous. With false close buttons and loud alerts and confusing hidden skip buttons. Ill be uninstalling because of the ads.

The credit karma ad on this game gets stuck in your search engine and wont let you do anything else. They need to be reported to Apple. Im just not sure how to do that.
We paid for an ad free version when we downloaded this app several years ago. Now we get ads between EVERY game. Please bring back the ad free option.
The game is great, but wow the ads are horrible. Turn the apps data off in the phones settings and only play when youre not on wifi and you can just click through without getting your ears blown out or watching some candy crush knockoff.
We have loved this game for years but have not been able to use it over the past few months as a screen wanting us to invite friends to play pops up & prevents us from accessing the game. We don 't want to invite friends to play but we can't get rid of that screen. Is there any fix for this? We would give this game 5 stars except for this problem. Thanks! Eileen.
The ads are getting ridiculous. At least add an option to pay to remove ads.
More ads than playing time. Our time is worth more that this game.
Used to love this game. Now there is an ad after every puzzle – thats one ad every 1 1/2 minutes! This is crazy. Talk about a waste of time. Dont bother. There are lots of other puzzle games out there.
This game is great, really makes you think and stretch your brain to keep you sharp. Ive had it for years but now the constant ads that no longer disappear within 10 to 20 seconds is becoming burdensome. We cant enjoy the game anymore for trying to close out the constant ads after every game. We understand they want to sell other Apps, but this commercialism is making us too angry to continue playing the game. We are very disappointed in the commercialism that has ruined this game.
We get the ads.. But when the ap makes it impossible to get out of the ad.. 10 minutes later you are still looking at the ad. This is the last word game we will delete. Will never subscribe to any of them after this.
We have played this for years and we would gladly pay a few bucks to get an ad free experience. We mostly play it for relaxation, almost every night to get ready to sleep, for example. The ads are annoying and some are quite loud so we have to turn off sound on our phone.

We love this app, play it many times daily. But honestly, please be warned: the edition with ads in it does not care one tiny bit that you have the sound turned OFF on your mobile device. THIS APP DOES NOT RESPECT THAT YOU WANT SILENCE!! Out of nowhere, you will get loud clanging slot machine ads and other ads that come screaming out of your phone! So dont use this app in a classroom, no matter how boring EVER! You will be so busted! Got a sleeping baby or toddler? Forget about it! They will jolt awake crying from the totally annoying loud ads, even with the sound muted on your phone. To the makers of this app: seriously, people! You have a great word unscrambling app that you have managed to screw up. Please get a clue and respect silence when people mute their phones. Honestly.
The constant ads are annoying but tolerable because we love the game, but sometimes an ad seems to get stuck and there is no way to close it. We have to abandon Wordwarp and play something else. Btw, the ads are useless as we will never buy any of those games.
Ive used this game for years and years to warm up our brain. After a concussion returned and found we cant used because of the Long ads between each level. Please offer an ad free version.

We looked up the plural of man and its men not mans as in one of your puzzles. Also the word raptor was not accepted. Hopefully you will make these changes.
We love this game. But we find that Ill play the same word sometimes 2 or 3 times within a couple of hours.

After the latest update there is now an ad for Ignite Classic Slots, that will not go away. There is no x to close it and it will only take you to the App Store to download the app. What a pain, we set word warp to the background then went back 10 minutes later and the ad is still there. Dis this bug please.
This game just gets better all the time. One exception: in this latest version, one cannot mute the sound between games, and just view the ads. (we dont mind the ads, but need to be able to play without disturbing others.).

This game is great! Specially for building vocabulary. The only downside is the ads after each game. While we understand that ads are needed, it makes it a bit worrisome to hand to a child to play. Would be great if there was a paid version or a charge for removing the ads. Its the only reason we gave it a 4 star instead of 5.
OK Ill watch the ads in able to play this great game, but Ive hadto watch h HBO Max 11 times and still cant get out of it. X doesnt work. Done, doesnt work. Oh well, it was good while it lasted.
We like this game A LOT, and play it many times a day. Butthere are a lot of words that should be, yet are not, there. A lot of singular versions of words are missing where the plural meaning is part of the puzzle. We just completed a puzzle where TURBO was not a wordTURBO!! Just fix your glaring and obvious shortcomings and this will be a better game.
Loved this app and have played it for years. However, recently some of the ads that run never shut down. Have to close the app to get rid of them. Disney was the biggest problem but there are others now. What a game breaker! Too bad. It is a good game but very frustrating and will probably delete it if this continues.
