Description
Wordgrams is a totally new type of crossword game where two players play the puzzle together. Some clues are pictures for extra fun! :)
Wordgrams is a turn-based game where two players complete the crossword puzzle together and compete for the highest score. It’s a new take on crossword puzzles too – Scandinavian style! – with clues inside the squares and some clues are pictures.
· Each player receives 5 letters at the start of each turn – then you have 60 seconds to place those tiles.
· You get points for placing letters correctly, completing words, playing all 5 letters, and fun bonus points tiles.
· Think carefully about playing certain letters though – as maybe it’s better to save that crucial letter for later!
Wordgrams is a unique twist on word games, and fans of crossword puzzles, Scrabble, and Words with Friends – should find themselves at home – and LOVING this new way to play!

Obvious bots as opponents. They Score low in the beginning and then 60+ points towards the end. Every. Time. Dont say there are no bots because there clearly noticeable.
Game will not let us update therefore we cant even play.
Keeps telling us we need to update the game, and we’ve done the most recent update. Very frustrating.
Our favorite game doesnt allow us to play anymore on our iPad. Our only option is to update which takes us to the App Store and open the app. Then it says update again. We’ve uninstalled several times and that doesnt fix it.
The ad system to extend your turn 30 seconds uses half of the bonus time before it lets you play. So skip the ads, the payout isnt worth it. They responded saying it was fixed. It is NOT fixed. Skipping their income stream ads is still the best solution.
Repetitive clues and cannot disable challenges from the general public.
We love playing this game with our friend when we take breaks on our walks runs smoothly and the programming is phenomenal.
We absolutely love this game. The design, simplicity, ease and joy of playing. We also have only met very nice people while playing this game. HOWEVER, the newest update somehow has affected the opening of the app. It no longer loads and we cant get to the main screen. We only see the yellow progress bar but it never reaches 100%. We would love some help with this!

Super Fun crossword game that challenges even the best crossword player!
Its a lot of fun. The only frustrating part is, if a person is losing, they refuse to finish the game because thatll mess up their stats and rating. So its hard to get up in points.
We really like playing this game. It is challenging, but not to hard. The clues can be really weird like Top Gun is a clue for TG, but we can deal with that. The worst is that since they added the Challenges feature we are getting kicked out of the game after every round. If the bugs arent worked out soon, we are going to delete the game.
8/28/21 Im done! Deleted!!! If we Dont hear from you we are deleting. 8/25/21. Please Fix! We are so exhausted with trying to play this game. Nothings changed. All it does is close and then we have to restart. We’ve been playing less and less because Im at our wits end. We tried going to support to report but that wont open either. Our game always crashes, ALWAYS!!! We enjoy playing against the people we’ve been playing but Im ready to Delete! Fix or Im Done!!!
We love this game! You get matched IMMEDIATELY and if you get a repeat clue its not a big deal. Only thing is we rarely come across a real player. Also, we have powerups, but if we run out of time it doesnt give us a chance to use it, only to get a new one by watching an ad.
We like this game its funny we just cant link to our Facebook and play with friends because it crash.
We were enjoying the app until a few weeks ago. We havent been able to create new games with a friend. We get an error message that says Oops! We couldnt create a match for you at the moment – please try again later!

The game in theory is fun, but its not as advertised as a fun, lazy brain game. You are timed and competing against someone else with limited letters to use.
This game was fun at first. Then we ran across those that dont play in the spirit of the game. Is it strategy? Perhaps. More likely its people who arent really good with words & found a way around the system. Itd be nice if letters/words at the beginning were given premium scoring. That would eliminate the leeches!
Its going to give the computer player all the easy letters . Impossible.
Its a very fun game but our lord the adds are insane!! Also if you want to get rid of the adds you can only get x amount of days free of adds. Come on it really makes us not want to play at all.
We like this game, but the ads are absolutely ridiculous. Takes like 5 clicks and 2 minutes after every other turn. Definitely turns us off. We heard you need to pay a monthly fee for no ads. Naw, Im good. Ill pay a one time fee, but yall gouging our pockets is gonna happen. Think Ill delete because of all the fires ad watching thats waisting precious time in our life yall can keep your money grab with your monthly subscriptions. Looks like Im not the only one complaining about this.
We enjoy this but gave it 3 stars because of all the ads. After every turn there is another ad. The daily game interrupts the turn with ads. We understand the reason for them, but come on. Plus the ads are repeats over and over.
Wow. You cant even navigate this app without watching a long advertisement. You will spend majority of your time watching ads than actually playing anything. What a joke.
The game is awesome for what it is. The only issue is the ads are terrible. EVERY move has an ad. If you wanted to buy the no ads thing from the shop you have to pay weekly, monthly, or yearly. We dont think any mobile game should have a subscription service for no ads. Maybe a sub for daily money or video reward skips, but if you buy something you shouldnt have to watch ads EVER! Especially for anything over $10. These games take like one person a month at worst to do this and its downright predatory to charge for no ads through a subscription service.
After the latest update it wont let us into the game. We’ve updated, and uninstalled and redownloaded but every time the loading screen is up it says new update required to play and take us to the App Store.
The game is pretty fun. The only annoying part is the wait for your opponent. If hes not available anymore, our game stays loading forever!
It was fun at first, but now there are too many glitchesgame freezes a lot, a game will start in the background while Im playing another game, ads have gotten longer and more frequent. Time to move on :(
Love to play this game, but the ads are insane. Theres an ad almost every 10 seconds! And to pay real money, every single week for no ads? Usually with other apps you pay one time and theres no more ads, but here you have to pay weekly. Outrageous.
We wanted to love this game, we really did. Competitive, accessible crosswords with a leveling system and new daily puzzles? Sign us up! But the incessant ads, the sheer greed with which the developers try to wring money out of you (Seriously, $4 a week, $10 a month, or $50 a year to remove ads? Not even a one-time purchase?)c the fact that we started running into the same clues after only a few games (not to mention that some of the clues are just abbreviations?) it all really soured the experience and ruined any desire we had to touch this game again. Try it if you want. Its genuinely fun to puzzle out the clues, earn league cups, and unlock new game modes to try (even if the Word of the Day is a blatant Wordle clone). But dont spend money on this game. You deserve better.
We loved this game so much that we subscribed and paid for no ads. All of a sudden they added a new feature that has an ad right smack in the middle of the page and it wont let you move on. We cancelled today. When you pay for no ads you expect no ads anywhere. Oh well.
Good game but there are ads after almost every move and they are loooooong. Much more than any other game we play. Super annoying. Made us quit playing even though we liked the concept.
We love the game, but there are two minutes and our screen will freeze. Our home screen will disappear when Im making our turns the screen goes away like Im done and the timer still going and we havent even finished our turn and this is all happened since the new update and your money for the ads is way out of whack.
It was a great game we would have kept it but too many ads and there was a glitch with ad that wouldnt let us play and covered tiles during the 60 second time frame. And the weekly ad fee was too high.
From what we see, you cannot buy ad-free permanently, its just for a limited time. (A week at a time, a month, or a year, however long youre paying.) Why cant we just pay $3/4 for no ads forever? Also, there was a new update to how you earn diamonds. Before, you could watch a video to spin to see how many you got. But it was about 3-4 sounds then you had to wait about 20 hours for another chance to watch a video to spin. Today, we have to watch a video for the spin, then have to watch another video to claim what came up in the spin! WTH?! NOW THATS JUST PLAIN RUDE! Removing a star.
Friends- this had the potential to be a very fun game, but everything it starts to work, it develops issues so You cant play- like full screen ads popping up that will not disappear and tape a reboot! We’ve complained though support- they yes you and the issue isnt fixed. So annoying and just not worth the aggravation.
We really love this game. Unfortunately there are ads after every turn. LITERALLY EVERY 15 SECONDS. We spend more time watching ads than playing the game. Will be deleting.
We’ve been playing this game for a long time and love it, however there is now an ad that constantly pops up on the bottom of the screen now that stop you from playing and you can only get rid of it by completely closing the game and reopening it and then it pops up again!
Starts with one ad per game. Then goes to 3, then 6, and then the game is unplayable so we deleted it. Lmaoooo, we would have continued if it wasnt for becoming unplayable. One 10 second turn. 30 second ad. Another 10 second turn, another 30 second ad.
We’ve really been enjoying this game up until the last few days. It keeps glitching, giving us a blank screen with only our letter tiles and freezing on the duel journey screen to where we have to exit the game, close the app and start over. Now we are seeing a big square ad in the bottom center of the screen and we cant use the home button. The only option given is New Game and when we click it, we get a new game with no board, only letters. We have uninstalled and reinstalled and closed out the app many many times. It is even more frustrating than sitting through all the ads. Please help!
This game worked perfectly until recently. We loved it, now we have to close out and reopen after each play. Please fix it.
We have to say, while the overall gameplay is pretty fun the ads are way too much. Its come to the point that there is an app practically in the middle of the screen and it prevents us from playing on-going matches as they all disappear. We have to keep restarting the app just to get rid of it but it doesnt matter because it eventually comes back. We also think its ridiculous to have to keep paying monthly/yearly just to be ad free when most apps are one payment only. In the end, we deleted the app because its too annoying to deal with.
Fun game but the ads literally ruin it- one between every turn and sometimes theyll even do a little wordgrams intermissions where they literally give you an ad WHILE youre in the middle of playing your turn. Plus it KILLS battery like no other app and will heat up our phone in minutes.
Great game but ads take away the fun. It also kills your battery.
There are games with ads at breaks and then theres Wordgrams, which is so crammed with ads that you cant make a single play, return to home, wait for your opponents turn, leave the app, or even see the next move screen without being battered with long play, multiple exit ads. A baffling exercise in patience disguised as a game. Avoid like the plague.
We played for 1 week on iPad, then received a message new version was available. We tried to install new version but it seems to be stuck in loop. Gets to 33% then message pops up to upgrade.
