What Makes Wordlito Stand Out
A word game, where you are to find the hidden 5 letter word in 6 tries or less. You are given clues with the colors of the letters shown. You are not limited by the number of words you can find, play as long as you like. Includes accessibility and VoiceOver.
Select between different difficulty level of words and and a word list with UK spelling is also available. Play two games simultaneously, side by side on iPad.
There is no data collected and there is no internet communication required for playing.
This app is fully designed with SwiftUI, with async actors.

Love it! Its not too difficult, its Fun! Our grandkids help, too.
When we play a game, we want to know the exact parameters. In this game, you can guess Four of the Five letters and STILL lose. That is unacceptable. At one point we had nearly 100 winning games all but to lose a round due to the number of possible letters that were needed to fill just ONE slot. We have moved on to other word games, sadly so. We really liked this game, but when a person puts real time and effort in , and STILL loses, well its extremely frustrating.
Love this keeps our mind active and alert.
We love the word list options. We can choose UK Spelling (5,000), 12,000 wordlist which is called Interesting and includes some unusual words. The defaut might only be 2,500 common words, but what you do with that is try to get better at guessing which of the 2500 words it is. Plus, part of the challenge is to find a valid guess word, just like in wordle. This app is called wordLITO, and in our mind, means shorter allowed list. What Id like to see is Icelandic list, German list, and Dutch word list for us to switch between. We hope to learn icelandic someday in the next short few years. He also has a 500 word list. Wordle ALSO has a word list of allowed words but just has more words so the negative reviewers, havent noticed it. Ive entered loads of invalid words on wordle and got a not valid response. We just know more words than the other reviewers perhaps? Thanks.
We keep deleting this app and every time we download a different app it shows up again. Not only is this annoying we think theres something fishy about it.
Has the potential and format to be a great app Unfortunately at the moment we think it could stand a vocabulary overhaul.
We dont expect every game to be made for those of us who speak English, and we give some leeway to games that are hindered (but actively working on improving), how they handle language barriers/issues. PARDON MY CAPS, BUT: WHAT we FIND RIDICULOUS ABOUT A MEDIOCRE APP TRYING TO BUST IN ON THE WORDLE FAD You have the DEFAULT SETTING for most common 2,500 words, and the player must change this to get 25,000??????!!! Dear Dev, look at how every review is frustrated players complaining about common words not taking. Now, think of the 99.9% of ppl who dont bother reviewing games they find bad. How many have you already lost to IMMEDIATE DELETION, by those who even gave a low rated game a chance at all, esp w/tons of copy cats, millions of apps, little time. Most horrible games have fake reviews to boost them in the above 4.0 stars. We know it. Seeing less than, most will never even DL this. We only checked reviews before deleting ourselves. Apologies on long review. We didnt plan to b4 deleting. ButI just thought Id give u a honest review about common sense. At minimum, change your default setting. DELETE.
Great app! Much better than the original. Just need a quick review of common words. Otherwise, its great! 5 stars.
CASCO???? Ive since learned this obscure word means helmet. Today the word was KLIKS. Someone please tell us what that one is – Google doesnt know. (And we AM using the 12,000 word selection). Nope.
It functions. The dictionary is full of made up words and missing real words.
The interface in this game is nice. Clean, intuitive, easy enough. What gets us though is the sheer volume of words that the database says it not valid. As an example: Stern Rents Sting Stall Windy Muggy Fudge Nests All of these words are not valid? Yet using the common words list, chine is common? Fix the words list and database of common words, and you could match a great interface with a good database. Until then, we cant be bothered.
We like the premise and the game play. However, there are many English words such as swarm or pluck are not valid words while bassy or ranco are legitimate. It makes the game frustrating.
Unbelievable. Common 5 letter words are STILL not allowed (eg.Forks, Forts) along with others. Come on developers, this could be fun but at this point does not come close to Wordle.
When a Wordle clone doesnt recognise plumb and pluck as valid words then its really not worthwhile spending any time playing it. Who knows how many other words it doesnt accept. Those 2 were deemed invalid on our very first game.
Basic design is pleasing and well done. Problem is the word database. Basic words such as beast & timid come up as invalid. Makes it unplayable. We tried all the settings, no help.
We input like 15 legitimate English words, and it kept telling us they were invalid. Im a native English speaker. We have a college degree. We know valid 5-letter words.
Standard, well-known English words result in an error. Words 90% of the people have never heard of are the most common answers. Takes a lot of the fun out of the game. We certainly wouldnt spend any money on it.
Its basically Wordly but it has an extremely limited list of words you can try. What is wrong with Rusty? Manse? Plait? Dirth? Plaid?Lance? Come on, this is ridiculous? We think it is awesome that people from all over the world make apps and Im guessing this was made by non-English speaking people. But you cant make a word game and simply leave out many, many words. Sorry, am deleting this game. Its no fun to play.
Our second suggestion was SALTY. The game came back and told us its not a valid word! Hahaha A very lame attempt at a wordle rip off.
Just downloaded. Since when is plums, the plural of plum, not a valid word? Deleting.
We love wordle and got this since it copies that. Its a terrible clone though. We tried to enter spill as a guess because we had an we in the middle of the word and it told us thats not a valid word, please try another. Then we tried windy and was told again thats not a valid word, please try another. Then it took kinda as a valid word. We finally solved it and the word was bindi. Very strange and frustrating game.
How can the people who posted this claim credit as the authors? On the positive side, youre not limited to one game a day.
Got it. Liked it. Interface changed without notification. No longer works with Apple Pencil.
This would be fun but Ive played it many times and have never seen a common word that anyone would recognize.
We have not gotten one English word that people actually use. Very strange.
We love this app. It is fun to play and keeps us guessing.
This is a nice simple word challenge game without all the annoying bells and whistles and ads. Our only complaint is that there are lots of perfectly fine 5 letter words that are not allowed. Since there are no instructions its hard to know why! Are they disallowed within a game for some reason, or are they just not in the word list? Whats wrong with siren.
Good play, but many words are well outside colloquial English usage.
