This was a great game until they allowed that ANNOYING music/ad to interrupt what used to be a nice, enjoyable way to play scrabble with friends! Seriously irritating.
We get very frustrated when could make a long word if the right letter was on the board, but it rarely is. We are better able to add bigger words to make new branches in regular scrabble./ Also, we think players too often lay 2-3 letter words that block ability to develop a good branch Steve.
About to expire since last 2 days – never happened before – we did re-install etc but no use.
Allowing ads that hijack the audio output without providing a setting to mute sound is a bad UX.
Simply addictive. We find Words By Post both challenging and fun. Because much depends on the luck of the draw, we dont feel too bad when we lose, yet its really satisfying when we win. We love that we can view past games, see the definition of a word, and chat with an opponent. Its great to be paired with similar scoring players. No annoying or distracting ads.
Its reliable, follows the rules precisely, and not at all buggy. Most importantly its fun.

Love this game! Our only wish is that after beating someone whose rating dropped very low, we receive more than 0 pts. A minimum 5pts. Would be nice lol.
Started playing this years ago on Windows Phone (RIP), shortly before starting Words With Friends. Im still playing this now that Im on our 3rd iPhone (and our phones last 2-3 years)! Ditched WWF years ago. We can go back and see the results of every game Ive played, as well as conversations! Ive never experienced a bug or glitch of any kind. Its clean and simple, and ads are not intrusive. Im about 99% certain Ill never make the leaderboard, but its still fun to look over our ranking history.
We should have the option. We want to get away from the social media back and forth and this game is where we come to just play.

Update: push notifications are back! All the stars! Probably the best scrabble app out there, but the push notifications are broken, so you constantly have to reload the app to see if its your turn. Other than that, its not full of gimmicks. Just good old scrabble.
You have a glaring error in your settings! Kind of ironic since this is a WORD game. But the way all things written are; no proofreading or editing.
The ONLY criticism we have is that the notifications havent worked well for us, and Ive been playing this game for years on iOS, Android and even all the way back to Windows Mobile. Please fix the notifications. Thanks.
We are always the 2nd player and usually get tons of vowels and few consonants. Lots of 1 pointers. Would love the game except doesnt seem fair or random.
This app needs to update acceptable scrabble words. Zen has been accepted for a few years now so needs to be added. There are probably others. Thanks.
Ive been playing for a couple years here but we get matched too often with 1dirtymofo who always taunts and speaks using disgusting language. We wish we could block him so we didnt have to resign and lose points.
Basic scrabble game but not all regular words are accepted as valid. Gi for example is clearly a word and in the scrabble dictionary but not accepted. There are others. Not sure why anyone would play this inferior version of scrabble if they dont even know that gi is a word.
This game is fun but it will go on long times where you will play without vowels or with only vowels. We dont think the letter selection algorithm is completely random so it starts to not be fun. This happens when you start playing 2700 and above opponents so you can no longer win.
Well, its better than some; certainly the disaster called Scrabble (iOS). BUT…its totally inconsistent. You can use some acronyms (e.g. AA for Alcoholics Anonymous) but not others. Go figure. And it accepts some abbreviations and slang (e.g. Za for pizza.) For any serious student of the Kings English, this game will drive you nuts. Just a little less so than the others.
All we get are vowels in every hand. Such a waste of time. A poorly made game where the developers clearly did as little as possible.
We cant find a place to report anything offensive. We started a game and our opponents name was nazihero. If that flies on this app, Im uninstalling. Im really sick of of people pushing their disgusting ideals in places like this. Im just trying to play a game and have to be reminded of that murdering filth.
Ive been playing this game for years. We love it, but we just flew from USA to Europe and now cannot connect . Tried restarting iPad but nothing works. Disappointing.
We dont know what dictionary this game uses but valid words in Miriam Websters that this game says are invalid?? Pass.
The dictionary is a little goofy at times, taking slang and proper nouns, but this isnt tournament Scrabble.
How about letting us players have profile pictures we find that more people will play with players who have a profile picture, thanks a bunch, Texas gal.
Its an awesome word game. We have been playing this from 2011 in the Windows phone world. Push notifications never worked for us, even after reinstalling the app.
We love this game and have been playing for years but we feel it needs an update. No matter what we do Im not getting notifications, the sound letting us know our partner made a move and we have to click off the game or we wont his word. We havent changed anything under settings, Ive deleted the game and reinstalled it and still nothing-its got bugs-hope you can fix it-other than that-love the game.
We now have to turn our phone off, then back on, for games available to play. This is a new problem. We closed the app, realized we dont know password, set up new account, and games to play still doesnt happen.
We've had to lower our review as notifications have stopped working. We've not changed a thing in our phone and we've Uninstalled the app to no avail.
This game is broken. Push notifications dont work. We shouldnt have to text our opponent that it there turn. Stupid game! Deleting and gonna download another scrabble game. Goodbye.
Ive been plays this game since our youngest daughter graduated HS in 2011. Shes since graduated and is now a Professional athlete and Im still playing. There are months when we dont play but its so addictive & being competitive we always want to beat our opponent. Best word game out there. Thank you.
Id been playing WordsByPost on our old Windows phone for probably five years. When we finally had to give up that old workhorse, we were delighted to find WBP in the App Store! Better still, we remembered our password so we didnt have to create a new username. What we love most about this game is that it puts you against someone of similar skills every game, so you never get bored playing random folks online. You can play family too, so its always fun. Thanks for keeping this game going, and for keeping it free.
Ive played this game for years. Today we pushed the app button and it wants us to put in our user name and password.we dont even remember making a password. Tried several passwords Ive used before to no avail. It gives you no option to change your password.
We love this game, play like 25 at a time. Ways better than Words With Friends. Our only complaint is too many cheaters. Hard to understand why someone would enjoy winning by cheating, but we guess you could say the same thing about Tom Brady and the Patriots! Anyway, if we suspect someone of cheating, we either call them out or quietly resign., depending on our mood. Great app tho. Highly recommended.
We have been playing Words by Post with our mother (YES MY MOTHER) since our Windows phone back in 2011 or so. At the time, WBP was the only word game available to Windows platform users. This game is far better than WWF for many reasons… The most prominent is certainly the ranking system in addition to the lack of Ads; in fact, our mother thought we should switch at one point (ti WWF) but was so averted by the ads on WWF that we instantly came back to WBP. Seriously, we don't think we even finished the WWF game. Today we recognized that the WBP server has gone down… Perhaps this is temporary (also note Whols Verification needed on their website), but regardless it is crushing. WBP has been a way for our family and we to stay in competition with one another (e.g. Our mom and we have played just under a thousand games). We hope WBP returns… Truly the best word game that exists!! Leave WWF today and join us on WBP.
We have enjoyed WBP, especially since the latest changes at WWF. Finally, we have 2 opponents who play regularly. No special gimmicks or insight to make a play. Love to play WBP.

We have been using this app since 2012 and it has never had annoying ads. It has a clean interface, and lets you use all words in the dictionarynot just g rated ones.
Everyone else seemed to be playing the better known word tile game which we downloaded but found all the extra bells and whistles a distraction. Words by Post is straightforward, no frills, but enjoyable game.
What a fun game to play. We really enjoy the simplicity of this game. It also gives you enough time to make your move. That is a plus for us when we don't have time to sit and wait at the computer.
We love the game. We would like to be able to check if a word is playable before we hit the submit button. Other than that, it keeps us coming back.
We have been playing this game for many years BUT Im tired of making words that r not nasty words that your game tells us there is no such word come on we then look it up on google and the dictionary and they both have the word so WHY DOESNT THIS GAME RECOGNIZES THE WORDES. U need to fix this and fix the problem cause Im getting so tired of this Im really thinking to delete this game for good.
We can play a word and find the our opponent doesnt get the word for an hour or more. And vice versus.
There ought to be a way for us to block harassing messages from players sending obscene messages. Its too bad because the game is fun, but we have to rate it low because we are sick of not being able to block players from sending sexually explicit messages. Shame on you for not allowing a block.
Got a domain error message so we deleted the app and reloaded it and now it wont let us sign in and we still get the domain error please fix!! We messaged the company on Facebook but no reply.
Wont let us switch out our tiles.
In an age of confusing headlines and fake news it is good to be able to count on something so simple as words to #makeamericagreatagain now when will trump build that Canadian wall? They want to pay for it.
