This crossword puzzle is fun, challenging and interesting. Love the fast paced and easy way of making solving puzzles.
So the reason we gave this game a four star 4 is because its great but you watch an ad every level and if you want more of anything like coins or gems you have to watch an ad too.
We like to give higher stars in hopes our review gets posted. About every 5th ad doesn't allow you to get back to the game play and therefore lose the bonuses from the level. This game could be the nail in the coffin, tired of four or five clicks to exit an ad or the ones that jump to the App Store on their own or now with this game we can't get back to the game play. No thanks Update: yep ads lock you out from continuing the game and therefore lose the benefit's of completing level. Bye.
Literally just uses the same words over and over. No challenge, no creativity, just the same words used constantly. Icy, ski, gin, iron, sea, sues, useon repeat. Hire someone to create puzzles with a higher vocabulary. In the beginning we liked it, paid to remove ads, realized the repetitiveness and deleted the game. Much better options available if youre looking for an actual challenge.

Great word game. Help with memory.
We like this Devs word search game on Apple Arcade, but Im trying to get out of monthly subscriptions. So we went and downloaded that game and this one, and the version offered by a few competitors. The competitors wanted $6 (except for one insane one that wanted $15 PER MONTH for a freaking word search game), and this game wanted $10. We ended up liking this game the most, but when we went to buy, the price was suddenly changed to $15. We knew it had been $10 so we figured they were playing price games with us because we had the game installed for a while. So we uninstalled and reinstalled the app to check again and now the price was $7.50. Its a good game though so Id give it five stars if it wasnt for the price games.
Stop the streak gift pop ups please too many things going on at the same time.
We liked the app but once we got to level twelve we started getting ads after like every round. But where we heard of the game, boasted no ads. Im not sure whats going on but we were disappointed. But the game was fun.

Im not an avid player of games on our phone. We have genuinely enjoyed a handful over the years. A few we got into & we played daily for a Season or so. We randomly came across WOW Crosswords. Im glad we opened it immediately to give it a go. If not, we wouldnt be writing this review right now. Most likely we would have forgotten to revisit it. We were really into WOW, instantly! Its very engaging, & gets the brain working in a fun way! Our 1st game we were quite happy to play right up to Level 9, so far. We believe that equates to 9 completed, mini-puzzles. Im still a rookie. Having said all that, we fully intend to keep this App! Ill continue to play daily for up to 15 mins to give our brain a chance to regroup with a crossword session! Well done on this App.
We wrote a review 2 days ago and when we submitted it and went back to the App Store page the WoW app was then able to be updated. We updated and now its fine.
Fun and progressively becomes a challenge in a good way.

It appears that the freezing issue has been fixed with the 5.3.6 release. Thank you for addressing the freezing problem. We love this application. They freezing problem has become worse than we experienced with version 5.3.3. Please fix this problem. After we updated to the latest version 5.3.3, the application has been freezing often. It freezes for a few seconds every minute. We think an update correcting this issue should be released.
Edit: latest update fixed the issue, thank you!! We really like the game, and dont even mind the ads. However the game continually freezes up and then returns. Playing on an iPhone 17 and WoW is the only app that experiences periodic hangs, even the in app ads will freeze up from time to time. Very frustrating. Tks.
We like the game and we have played well over 3000+ puzzles. However, the weekend tournament is fixed. There will always be a winner with 100+ more butterflies than anyone you can reasonably achieve. 2nd place is the best a human can do.
The update to 5.3.6 has a new streak gift with a pop-up window after every level. It is really annoying. We just want to exercise our brain, play the word game, and not have to clear a pop-up window after every game! Otherwise, we love the app.
For the last week the screen continues to freeze and Ive done the update which still isnt helping.
Love this game, but in the last few revisions, it locks up on the iPad and iPhone.
This app keeps CRASHING several times every time we play it. Very frustrating!! Like the graphics tho. Tempting to delete this app and will if it keeps crashing. Still crashing every time after a few levels.
The game keeps on crashing Im currently on level 121 and it keeps on crashing its so frustrating to play the game without ads its like 15 dollars lol.
Twice we have not been able to close an ad from the spinning wheel. The first time we finally just downloaded it. We havent but plan on deleting it without ever playing it. Again today it happened. Totally cannot close it. There are no arrows or X to tap. Closing the WOW game for a few hours did not help. Im about ready to delete this game.
