This game is a great way to stay in touch with family and friends. It gives the option to play through or pause when life calls you away. We are thoroughly enjoying the game from a standpoint of knowledge and challenge.
Not too pleased. Slow moving. Don’t see how to cancel player when takes too long to play.
Downloaded the game interested to try but when we finished writing our word we were unable to submit because the add was in the way and there was no way of exiting out of it.
If you haven’t already done the newest corona update DON’T!! If you previously purchased the non ad version you will be sorry you did this update! The ads are horrible.
Sometimes we lose games where we are behind in points but it is the opponent’s turn and they time-out. Also, I’d like for the game to show what the opponent’s last move was when the match ends on their turn.
It does not recognize some very popular words. It gets really bad in Spanish especially.
It’s Great and then it lets our girlfriend and we played together in Spanish. However, the interface is wonky at times; for example, one has to try numerous times to place the letter in the correct location often. Additionally, one has to finish watching the video or ad before the number indicating how many plays your opponents have made disappears (icon badge).
We love to play this game! Besides being FUN — The graphics and sounds are really amazing. You feel as if you are right there in the bar with the pirates.

We think this is a fun & cute game. We like how you get to pick a character. Also u learn new words. But unless its a person we know & invite, we can’t get any body to play. But over all its good.
Almost as good as Words With Friends. We wasn’t getting enough vowels.. Too many consonants. Would not accept aar as a word.. Really? Aar! Making tile placement easier would be a nice improvement.

Excellent and entertaining. No bugs found. Can be played at different levels and in various languages. We enjoy it very much.
It has ads, ask you to connect to Facebook/ e-mail, takes you to GameCenter… Still, it won’t let you play if there is no one online. Come on! How many billions live in this world?

Great game but the board is difficult. Moving pieces is a bit slow on iPad app and hard to see current score. Love the language selection for pirate.
We wish they would bring back the YARRR! Game, the game that only had R,A,G,H,Y, and ! Even so, this game is still fun, we guess bc it’s a differently themed scrabble game.

We’re sure this is a great multiplayer Words game. The thing is, many of us played and loved Words With Pirates a couple of years ago and were disappointed when it did not return on Talk Like a Pirate Day last year. If, like us, you thought this is that game, you are mistaken. That game had an all pirate dictionary and the only letters available were Y, A, R, G, H, and !. This is standard Scrabble with a Pirate theme.
Pirate Words is great fun! As is Pirate Fleet, check it out!

It is Enthralling That A Minimal Few Refuse To Engage aft A Few Plays and Wish Not To Continue !! Great Game !!
Way fun, great avatars and background track. Preferable to other Scrabble-like games. Wish more people would follow-through on games.
We’re looking forward to playing with 4 players when we decide to pay for this one. However, it looks like you have to buy it AND pay .99 to get all 4 player spots. Still nice change from constant 2 player. We like this, but we’re concerned that maybe not many people are playing?
