What happened to the Lightening Round in the Create A Game part of WWF?
We very much like this game. Especially the lightening round. Now the lightening round is nowhere to be found. Please dont tell us youve discontinued it. Or have you just put it in a new tab? Thanks for entertaining us in our later years.

Im enjoying this game but what happened with playing a shortened game with an unknown WWF personthat disappeared 4 days ago that we so enjoyed???
While we enjoy the game, the fact they allow those fake Oprah endorsed gunmies makes us want to delete the app. Who knows what other shady things they’re allowing.
Words is great but what is all this earning rewards for? When they pop up it takes to many steps to get them. But what do you get for them. They are a waste of time. Just want to play the game.
What happened to lightning round? Uninstalling after years of playing.
Lately it seem to be not recording our wins. Its recording the losses. Whats up with that!! We just 3 games in a row and its still zero!!
Far too many ads. Almost unplayable. Every words equals another ad. Listening to a walrus give birth to farm equipment would be more tolerable than the amount of time wasted watching videos of games you already have or arent going to download.
PUT IT BACK!!!!! Play is boring now. Youre gonna lose players.
We paid for Words with Friends years ago and when promoted, we downloaded Words with Friends 2. When the app recently froze, we deleted it and downloaded it again. Lo and behold now there are ads Avery single turn and asking for $12.99 to get rid of them! Tried to contact Zinga Tech support, but our device says it cannot find that page. Very disappointing Zynga!
Used to be a great game – Now the ads are so bad that it is not worth playing. A real waste of time. Such a shame. At least they could wait between rounds to run the ads – but no, NOW they happen every ten seconds or so and last way too long. Some have technical glitches us and never go away even if you close out the game and come back- they still repeat.
We felt like we were navigating through a ours field trying to click out of ads. The entire game looks like our phone was infected by a pop up blocker, uninstalled immediately.
We’ve been playing WWF for years. We just got a new phone and nothing transferred over. The contact us button doesnt exist. How do you get help? Totally frustrated!
This game was greatuntil it wasnt. There is an aspect were you can play against a Smart Bot. Well, you play your turn and nothing. Nada. Zero. And that goes for the response time of the tech team. Awful!!!
You complete offers, they dont deliver coins.
Why do we have to pay $9.99 a month to play without long ads between plays. When we had our old IPad we didnt have to pay anything and did not have to watch ads. We paid once when we first got the game. Then when we bought a new iPad and transferred over to it we have had to pay $9.99 a month. We cannot afford to do this any longer so will have to quit WWF. We THINK THIS STINKS. Especially when others are telling us they are not paying anything and are not having to watch ads. We are tired of being a patsy. It is not fair.
There sre sooo many ads we had to stop playing. It made game no fun. . It took more time ti get rid of ads than to play the game! And too many uninvited plsyers rather just play with friends.

This game is going from bad to worse… We hate the updates. The latest update is the removal of Lightening Round, which was one of our favorite thing about Words With Friends. We hope they rectify this in their next update, because Im ready to delete this app.
The developer is so greedy they just add more advertising instead of improving the game. The is a daily challenge of 12 puzzles, today the first and third puzzles were EXACTLY the same. No creativity from Zenga.
We love This game but why cant we see our friends messages.
Too much advertisement that sometimes doesnt give you the option to close it so we have to close the game and open it back again. It is very annoying and gets boring.
How do we get the games like word wheel and other games. Also, we cant watch any videos to gain some coins, it always says it cant load. How do adjust this?
This was a really good game until you added many more ads, one after every word, AND they are now longer 25-35 seconds, and disgusting. We have to cover some of them they are so violent!!! At least please better ads and not so long. !!
We’ve complained for several months about a player who has harassed us. We’ve included screenshots of what he said, a lot of which could not be used by Zynga because of the foul language he used. We keep on getting the runaround by the Zynga team. Several other players have also complained about this same player. Nothing is being done about him. We know he’s in a club…a friend is in the same club with him. We will not be in a club again until he is removed from the game. We want him gone.
This game has ways to earn coins by watching ads. It has stopped working and their solution is be patient! In the meantime, they could gift us the coins we are unable to earn. But no, we are just to be patient. Its been weeks, no bug fix. Im almost out of coins. Only option then is to spend money to buy coins. When we run out, we will quit playing as its not worth real money to play a free game!
We really want to just play games … The extra garbage after every breath is beyond annoying.
They took away the only mode worth playing, Lightning Round.

Playing Word With Friends is a way to use our mind so that we do not loose the skills that we have due to aging. We enjoy playing it as well.
We love this game. We enjoy the challenge, and we use it to connect with friends and family who we cant see often. The only two downsides are (1) there are a lot of skeezy dudes trolling for sex (strange platform to pick up women); and (2) the ads are awful and constant, and if you pay to get rid of them it only lasts for a month. But the game itself is a lot of fun and there are many variations of games to keep things interesting. We recommend it.
We love word games and really like to play this game in our down time just to relax and take our mind of the fact that the world is going crazy and out of control. Other then word game may we suggest Bible reading and a wonderful free website. JW. Org.
Sick of seeing a woman on toilet with her pants around her knees this is inappropriate for all ages.

Game used to be fun, but changes to rewards and the insane amount of pop ups is annoying.
They changed it again! You can no longer get coins every day by watching adds. Now you cant get coins until you are all out of coins. They did that once before and we hated it and stopped playing a lot. Now Im going to do the same. Whats the point of playing and earning coins if you dont get them added! Very disappointed.
The game refuses legitimate words from us as invalid, then plays its own words that are not found in the merriam-webster dictionary. Does it really need to cheat? Do they think well just assume its accurate? The level of ads is also obnoxious, worse than other free games.
Achievement tracking is inaccurate, some feature fail to work occasionally, glitchy.
Agree with the comments on how easy it is to try words without penalty, but what is unacceptable is that an add for a simple solitaire game has no return to the game – too frustrating to put up with.
Just upgraded to latest version and there are lengthy ads between every move, as well as invitations to do this or do that. This game is no longer any fun to play.
Sadly the developers have ruined this game. Every time you take a turn now you have to watch some bull crap ads and some of those will not clear until they open a web page or the App Store. When we first started playing we bought the ad free version. That apparently is no longer a thing. We like playing on our skill and do not use the advantages because whats the point if your not being honest? We’ve been playing without any of that and the main thing we cannot take is the adds that constantly after every turn make you wait to play and sometimes wont clear till you close the app and reopen it. If thats not enough the header at the top of the game constantly pelts you with adds as well. We hate that we cannot play this game honestly and know that others are as well. We expect our opponents are using the advantages but we mostly win unless they are using one of the cheats other than the ones tied into the game. Obviously the developers are money hungry and seems thats all they care about cause you can spend money to get the advantages and all that. It would be great if they got rid of all that crap and made a straight up game no strings attached, play by your skill not your cheats. Sorry for the rant but there are plenty others like us we know that just enjoy playing without being bombarded with ads and opponents that may or may not be cheating. Guess we go back to our wordjong and scrabble, too many frustrations with what this game has become.
We havent been able to watch videos even though we have done everything they have told us to do to correct the problem you were supposed to able to watch videos to earn more coins, but we havent been able to do it in like six months. They say they corrected the problem but it is not corrected. Now to get more coins we HAVE TO SPEND MONEY. YOU NEED TO FIX THE PROBLEM.
