This game is from an era when mobile games were good. Was it a Mario copy? Sure. But it took that concept and ran with it. The gameplay is fun, and the powerups are unique. Overall a great mobile game, and a great part of our childhood.
The game is actually kinda good, and like how much frustrating but has pizza tower vibes.

Can't believe this doesn't have more positive reviews. Once you get the controls gameplay is super intuitive and well-designed. The look and sound track our total authentic retro 80s and it's highly addictive. It also is like it's own great riff on Super Mario Jump (or is it the other way around ;) nice work game designers.

We love this game so much. We love the video graphics, music, sound effects, and gameplay. But developer(s), please update this video game so that it can support newer phones. We noticed that there's a lot of glitches, bugs, and bad crashes. Also, this is supposed to be an arcade game. So why don't you add something extra like a high score leaderboard just like those arcade games of the 1980s. Ah good ol' nostalgia. We are being honest. This game is a rip off from sonic and super Mario bros. Bru.
As you all know WORLD 1-1 looks like Mario, but when you get the game, it isn't as good as you thought it would be. Ours glitched out and now we're unable to use the game. If anything, the owner of the app needs to update the game and fix the glitches. Ok, now we're running iOS 10.0.2, and we got the game in 2012, we think they should have fixed it by now.

World 1-1 is another modern smartphone platformer where you can only go one direction, and it seems like a good one. It's neat you can walk faster or slower. There's only the one stage you can play until you make a small IAP, but that's okay.
You should definitely get this game. Fun, addictive, cool music.

Easily one of the best "runner" games we've played on the App Store. The idea of assuming the role of the worlds most dedicated pizza delivery guy named "Guy" who delivers pizzas in the middle of an alien invasion set in a fun nostalgic 8-bit setting with chiptune background music is totally hilarious and totally radical over the top awesome!!!!! Developers! Please add MORE power up types, add weapons, MORE costumes(we.e. Soldier/commando, robot etc.) MORE obstacles, MORE game modes, and MORE alien types!! Great game.
This game rules! Imagine playing super Mario in high speed while alien UFOs decimate the landscape all around you. It's a perfect 10-minute distraction type of game. Totally captures the retro flavor of Nintendo too.
We love this app it made us buy more arcade games we cant wait for the up date us and our sisters stay up all night playing this game when Im at the pool we're playing the game.
We just got it and it's just too addicting.
First off we love pixle games like super mairo for the nes we play xbox so dont get us wrong but we pefer older games and pixcles so it is perfect from the game to the joy stick and butten it it is perfect if u dont donload it then u should not say u have an we phone so donload it now ;).

It is one of the sockets games ever. Although you should redo the animation at the beginning, because it looks pretty annoying…his face is too ugly. Maybe make the animation at the beginning all pixelated and retro or something…because it's awful. Sorry. But it's our favorite game, the controls are super cool and it's retro and fun as anything.
We took the time to save up points to unlock Apocalypse mode just to find out it would have been well worth buying! Awesome graphics, fun gameplay, and funny nods to 90's gaming and pop culture. (Not going to spoil it!) Definitely buy or save up points for hard mode…it's so much more fun and challenging.

This game is cute, and has good music, so four stars because the first level is really hard while the first level should be easy.

World 1-1 is addictive we would have to say. It's a simple game about a man delivering pizza to people while an alien invasion is taking place. Very simple as you can tell. Each game round lasts about 2 minutes long. The sad thing about it though is that it repeats unless you but this map pack that costs a dollar or use in game money to buy it which doesn't take that long. It is very munch like temple run and Mario mashed together in one game. Over all, very fun, cool upgrades a long the way, but very repetitive. We would advise getting it.

We like this game. It's a good zone-out, but you can't save your progress. We have start over every time we want to play.
Downloaded it today whilst trying to find Super Mario (silly girl forgot we'd have to jail break our phone to download it). It's cool. It's fun. We love the music.

We live the idea of having a pizza guy trying to deliver a pizza on a freaking opacolyps (we know we spelled that wrong) but it's so fun, the 1$ version is super fun too.
