XC Cross Country Racing is a Sports/Strategy/Racing game from Ryan Craven, first launched in 14th April 2023.
It’s rated 12+ and currently has 94+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes XC Cross Country Racing Stand Out

A strategy based racing game where you must manage your stamina as you determine whether you should follow behind the other racers or push the pace.
Customize your character and get ready to take on the competition as you try to win the race and compete for a top spot on the leaderboards. There are three difficulties to choose from, but be forewarned this game demands as much toughness and patience as the sport (and kart racers) that inspired it.

This Sports game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

Needs to have teams or new courses but this game changed our life. Ever since we downloaded it Ive felt nothing but joy.

We can finally run a 5k faster than 23 minutes. Just not in real life.

More runners you go against Im begging you please you will get everybody playing it and it will be way more fun and different courses please we want it to be like a actual crosscountry race please Im begging you.

This is a very addicting game and it is underrated asl.

We love this game and its so addicting to play. Ive been playing for a bit now and Im now #3 in JV (14:48.7), #2 in Varsity (14:54.3) and #9 in elite (15:03.8).This game is so fun and we wish there was more content but besides that 5 stars! EDIT: It has been 2 weeks and we are the first person to be 1st in all 4 categories! Freshman #1 with 14:44.5, JV #1 with 14:40.9, Varsity #1 with 14:46.7, and elite with 14:54.0.

Been playing this app for the past year, and have been particularly focused on fine-tuning our strategy over the past three monthsthe primary element that keeps us engaged and hungry for more is the steady, incremental progression up the leaderboards. SERIOUS question though, with the influx of sub-14:20 times (and even somebody going sub-14) at the Freshman difficulty level: Is there a shortcut on the course (logically, within the final kilometer) that Im unaware of? OR are certain other folks being given much faster computer competitors to draft? We mean, cmon, seriously. 13:59 defies logic and comprehension, from a technical standpoint, UNLESS the stamina system itself was completely overhauled (and it wasnt). Sub-14:20 alone literally seems impossible given the current parameters, and Ive fully analyzed EVERYTHING in this game. The game is entertaining, but its PAINFULLY obvious that folks are either cheating/hacking, or gaining unfair advantages of some kind. Honestly, the nail in the coffin was that sub-14. We implore y'all to clean things up. Please, for the love of the game.

This game is great! We think it would be awesome if there were different courses that could possibly be harder or easier than another course. For example, one course could be a more hilly course and another course could be flat. Could also be cool if we had like seasons or even teams.

We love cross country so much and we need something to do over the offseason other than training.

One of the few cross country games in the App Store and its surprisingly really fun. Happy to finally see a game of our sport.

Phenomenal game! This game changed our life and is our life.

We were a loser before we found this game out of shape, wife took the kids, unemployed. That all changed the moment we started playing this game. Now Im in the best shape of our life, just like the little guys in the game. Im happily married to 5 wives and 16 children between all of them, and Im still unemployed (too much time spent having to play this game) but now Im worth 1 gazillion dollars. 100% recommend downloading this game, itll do you and your Johnson justice.

Its already entertaining, but we need more players and supporters to make it even better.

As a CC runner we LOVE this game. Im still not on the leaderboards, but Ill get there. We also think this game has potential for updates later on. One thing we would hope to be added is the ability to change your name, not a big deal just kinda annoying. GREAT GAME.

It's a brutal sport we commit to, the miles and miles we endure, the laps on the track we pound through every single day to better ourselves as much as we can. The glory of being at the top is only surpassed by the happiness of finally achieving the aspiring dream of victory. It feels like heaven when you're at the top, like nothing could ever stop you, but unfortunately this is the easy part of competing. Greatness can cease in the snap of a finger, and it can feel like all of your hard work was to no avail: that is a dangerous byproduct of injuries and the mental battles we all fight behind the scenes, away from the trails and track. We've seen those close to us struggle with these issues recently, and it pains us to see them not be in the place that they so assuredly deserve, right at the top of the running world. To all of y'all, from the ruin of team dissolution to recovering from what feels like the hundredth injury, let us just say that your resilience does not go unnoticed, and that eventually your determination will lead you to where you want to bet.

Its really fun. We wish there was a mode where you could train your guy and do workouts and stuff, then that would help you get faster.

Its well made, simple easy to learn but hard to master, with an active player base and lots of potential for updates. Ive been looking for a game like this for years and this is almost exactly what Ive envisioned. Thank you developer.

14:47 Isnt a fast time for XC cross country racing, it just isnt.

Have been looking for a XC game for a while and finally found a great one. It would be cool to see different courses and customized your runner for free would be awesome! We also dont know to get up to Varsity then Elite.

Thank you hopefully theirs more to come.

If you are obsessed with running/cross country/track you will love this game. Not sure we realized how fun it could be. The stamina management part is the most challenging and entertaining. We would love to next see more courses available, as well as maybe a team element where you race with 6 others for a team score. Great work.

Saw game on TikTok, 8.4 out of 10.

We like the strategy and stuff about this game. The only thing we would like better is the consequence of getting bumped. Make it less of a setback.

It is a good game overall but it has the the best of graphics. Also idk how to advance to varsity or elite.

The elbows are too much, fix it.

Its a great game and we love the concept but the biggest problem is getting hit by the other runners since it messes up the entire race. Other than that it is great. Please fix.

The main problem is the collision is very bad and a slight tap can turn your character 180 degrees around. Ruined multiple tries and makes the game borderline unplayable.

First of all, we personally found this game quite boring. We suggest games like Temple Run or Subway Surfers as better quality running games. Second of all, why are there only male racers? Finally, if you really crave the adrenaline rush you get from pretending to run in a cross country meet, maybe try downloading ZRX where you can listen to zombies and other creatures trying chasing you. Overall, not our cup of tea.

You get spun around 360 degrees and slow down a ton just from touching another player.

Shoutout to Carson and the Rocky class of 2023.
