Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Review
This is ridiculous. We have to wait around 30-45 minutes to finish the match because our opponent is taking 5-10 minutes each turn summoning. This makes the game very annoying and frustrating for everyone since it just never ends.
Please add support for backbone controller for iPhone add yugioh master duel. Support make it compatible with backbone controller. Make the game so that it supports backbone controller. Please thank you. :)
It is so fun like the shows people take you seriously but we take it as a best game and fun.
We have been an avid fan and duelist since we were 10. Im 30 now. Yu-Gi-Oh! Has been a major part of our life in fact, its almost like a lifestyle. If this review ever gets read, we only wish that the Devs include other card artworks and animations in the game. Most fans would love to play with their favourite Artworks and it being animated.
Way better than TCG Live. Im not a huge enjoyer of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but this game got us back into it. It runs very smoothly, and we love the animations. We play on mobile and its a blast. It doesnt take up much space on mobile either. Really love all the cosmetics you can get in this game and the game is very cheap to play. Would recommend.
Yo, this game is wicked. We love the animations and the layout so we hope the servers last forever. We low key hate the new OP loli decks but whatever, an old dog has got to learn new tricks sooner or later, right? Take it easy homies.

We find this to be a game that has is different than rule links. Both games are amazing. However if you want a full deck and duel with all the real rules this game s the game for you.
We would recommend anyone who is into Yugioh to play this phone game it consumes our time but its worth it!
We play this game on iPad, and even still, the UI and UX is beautiful and seamless. This will absolutely blow any online simulator away regarding gameplay experience. The only downside is your card pool being limited, although with the crafting system, and frequent gems and craft points distribution, we’ve never had an issue with not being able to play any deck Id like.
Would live to use our backbone to play with the app, rather than having to remote play it from our console to use controller.

We hate this game. No way to kill a boner like waiting for our opponent to combo for 35 mins. Im trying to figure out why we keep playing and we honestly couldnt tell you. We hate every second that we spend playing and it ruins our day. Win or lose its always the same.
The game overall is beautiful. It gives out gems pretty often, which is a good thing in our opinion because it gives new players the ability to like create and construct their decks to make them pro even faster. Overall a really good game, but some people have to be into the game term make the decks better.

Hope the game can add anti-aliasing functions, such as dlss, fxaa, txaa and so on. Because the border of the flash card will show obvious serrations on the field. (dlssfxaatxaa)
Why is this game about wedgies in the cards used to be a clean good game.
We would greatly appreciate if we and other fellow players could be granted access to use backbones controller options in game.
This game is dope but the game runs awful on modern hardware. This phone over heats our iPhone 14 pro max or iPad Pro m1. Literally gets so hot that the screen over 10-15 mins will basically be to 25% brightness.
Its been a while since we played Yugioh and now it feel awesome. And great to test our deck on players with strong decks.
The game has improved so much more since it first came out. We love all the new animations each certain card get and everything. But the only thing we feel like should be added a way to appraise someones built deck or how the match ended. Besides that the game overall is great!!!!
This game is great overall, we feel that the amount of gems as a free to play guy is good enough and we dont mind people running tears and destroying us instantly. However we cant deal with our card effects not working on the first turn we have, it ruins whatever Im running and screws us over completely. It isnt the case every game but it happens enough that its a problem.
This game is the perfect form of Yu Gi Oh the UI is extremely simple to understand for beginners and has only gotten better as the game progresse. Structure decks allow you to craft decent decks to get started from an early stage in the game and events that happen once a season allow you to earn gems at a higher rate every now and then, which helps F2P players. We see a lot of complaints in the comments talking abt how the game is just trying to make money but for anyone involved in the TCG they already know Konami likes their money. HOWEVER!!!! Our mobile account is our second account after starting one on our PC and after watching a couple F2P guides on YouTube you can tell Konami definitely made it possible for you to craft multiple playable decks without having to spend a dime as long as you are smart with spending your gems (I have not spent them on accessories outside of a duel field because you earn everything else through solo mode). We highly recommend playing the solo mode it will unlock lots of free cards for you as well as each chapter gives you 200 gems. We also recommend the first cards you craft be the staples of the MD meta (x3 Maxx C, x3 Ash Blossom, x2 Called By, x1 Crossout Designator, x3 Imperm and some others that can be dependent on what decks are at the top) this will set you up to create any deck and make it a contender with generic hand traps that can be in all decks. Now to the reason we put 4 stars MD is beginner friendly and easy to be F2P if you use your gems correctly, but its one problems is it releases of new archetypes at such overwhelmingly high power levels!! The current tier 0 format created from Tearlaments (the newest meta release) has created a format where you either give in and craft a tear deck or build rogue decks specifically meant to counter it, which can create a lack of fun in itself. We understand this is done as a way to create revenue because with new releases people will spend money for gems to craft the new cards, and in turn Konami pays their rent we just wish they would release new decks as a nerfed version of themselves and power creep them with buffs in order to slowly leak them into the meta, instead of nuking everything about current states of the game with new pack releases. Other than that and the mental frustration created around the fact sometimes it feels like your opponent got to pick their hand before the game started and nothing you do will matter MD is a great experience for those trying to learn or get into the game of Yu Gi Oh, and the experience only gets better as you convince your friends its a fun strategy game that has a little something for everyone. Whether u want to combo, control or straight up floodgate your opponent, Yu-Gi-Oh MD has a deck for you!
Why Konami WHY do you make an animation for packs getting a rarity upgrade, only to have that pack contain no cards of that rarity?! We laughed it off in the early days, but this is still happening! Over a year now! Either remove the upgrade animation, or make it so we actually get the cards PLEASE Unnecessary disappointment, plaguing an otherwise excellent client.
Love this game, but today we tried to play & all our data got deleted! Worst of all it wont let us do a data transfer.. Other than that great game.
We love the game, Ill be honest there. There are a few things we would change but we dont develop games, and didnt help make this one. A mechanic we would love to see would be a sort of practice mode, to practice combinations of cards with random hands, specific hands, etc. Aside from that, this game is phenomenal!
The game is amazing dont get us wrong but we think what could have been done differently is the component system when you dismantle a card you get components but not all cards can be dismantled and when you use components to make a card then you dismantle the same card you get less components than you used to make like Im trying to make a malefic deck but we need three copies of malefic paradigm dragon and we dont have enough ur components to make it great game though we enjoy it its a good game to go to when we get bored with duel links also please add controller support.

Its a decent game. The meta is its own problem. Honestly its fun. Maybe a play mode for older decks to shine.
We rarely post a review but what happened to yu gi oh was terrible we started playing yu gi oh through yu gi oh duel links and it was an awesome experience and we would spend days deciding to add a card or not or grind for a new UR card but through the course of the game with the release of more and more boxes the company made a decision imo that to insure that the new boxes are bought they have to make them more powerful than the previous box and at some point the new boxes became so powerful that if you didnt by them you would loose in very first round The point of this game was that any tactic you think of there will be a card for it but now unless the game makes major changes to most of their cards you need to buy the latest deck and hope you get the correct cards on the first round since you wont be getting a second one.
When youre just starting out theres a huge skill gap with players even when youre playing ranked, which is supposed to put you against people at your skill level. Another mobile game designed to have you pay to get stronger than other players.
Doesn’t it show that the Chinese has been updated? Why can’t we find the option to switch Chinese?
It is a really fun game, and we would recommend it, its just too laggy, a play turn that would usually take 2 minutes might take 7 just because there is lag in between every action you take. Just to put in into perspective: there can lag for a whole minute (or more potentially) when your turn starts, when you draw a card, when switching to every phase, when placing a card on the board, when the enemy gets prompted with something and it comes back to you, and in the start screen when you go to any menu and come back (this is only a couple seconds but it is really frustrating). This isnt always as bad as it is now but it has gotten significantly worse lately so we thought Id write a review. Im aware that it is a co op game and the duels often happen between players from different countries but it is not usually this bad in other games, its usually a second or maybe 2, not a minute. It is also not a problem with our internet, we can do everything else perfectly fine we’ve only experienced lag in this game. Also there should be an attempt try to get you to open an account that keeps tracks of all your cards so if you delete the app so you dont just loose all your progress which happened to us. There is a way to get your account back but you will need your account Id which youre not likely to know unless youre adding friends and is pretty hidden apart from a whole other bunch of pretty specific things that most people dont keep track of. So overall, love the game but you might encounter a lot of lag.
Just because the download/set up for some reason in the two times we’ve downloaded this app it took 12-16hrs we have no idea why our signal has been great each time and we can download other high gig files much quicker than that with our signal at its worst. Worse than the time it consumes you also have to have the app open through the entire download so for a total of 28hrs in the last two days this phone as been left unlocked and open to download this game and one of those times at the very end it said an error has occurred and made us download it again entirely.
We negated red eyes baby dragon effect with hot red abyss until the end of the turn but when we attacked the effect went through in the grave yard in the same turn and they got to summon a red eyes but we still beat them also been noticed maxx C did not want trigger a couple times.
What a waste of time. Its basically a coin flip simulator. Whoever wins the coin flip and goes first wins 99% of the time. Save your time and play something else.
