What Makes Zoo Animals ~ Touch, Look, Listen Stand Out
Touch, Look, Listen is a series of preschool learning apps for tablets and mobile phones that will delight and encourage young children as they learn their first words. Zoo Animals introduces early learners to over 60 popular animals from around the world. It's also the perfect app for parents and little ones to share, combining superb photographs, simple word labels and friendly narration. In addition, you can turn the app into a language-learning tool for students of all ages, simply by choosing a second language in the menu.
Zoo Animals is just like a real book, so it's easy to find your way around. Each page is introduced by a playful rhyme, while bright and colorful images pop-up magically as each 3D scene opens. When your child taps a picture, they see and hear the associated word, making this a powerful tool for learning new words as well as reinforcing those they already know. With the second language option, they can explore other languages too, including Spanish, Chinese, French and German.

Community Insight:
Beautiful images, clear voices, with a really interesting 3-D look- the images pop up as you swipe through the pages. Both common and more exotic animals are included, and the last page consists of a quiz that keeps refreshing with new animals- find the , where is the etc. Well done. This has a link to the App Store to their other books, but it has a parental control where you need to swipe a certain way to access it.
This is a really cool app visually. It's kind of 3-d and the app tilts with you when you tilt the iPad/iPhone. The photos/pictures are nice. There's plenty of animals to see and each page says something "if you were an animal living in a zoo would you want to be yellow, red or blue?" we really like that when you touch the animal, it says what it is "wolf" and when you touch it again it makes the sounds of a wolf. Our 2 year old easily navigates through the pages with the arrow buttons. Overall, worth the price. We've purchased all three apps.
