「軒轅劍參 雲和山的彼端」故事是橫跨歐亞大陸，貫穿羅馬、阿拉伯、中國三個文明。遊戲也針對不同文明做了不同的設計。如在水都威尼斯、大馬士革、以及最後的長安，三個地域的建築、行人的服飾風格都各有不同，背景音樂採用符合當地風格，對白也依各自文化背景發想。
遊戲歷史背景選擇在東西方文化碰撞的一個時期，將許多世界歷史上的大事件，如怛羅斯之戰、阿拉伯革命、十字軍東征、安史之亂…等穿插於劇情當中。需要注意的是，遊戲中對某些歷史的描寫與史書的記載並不一致，例如怛羅斯之戰的後果、對高仙芝等人的評價等。
遊戲劇情雖從遙遠的西方威尼斯開始，但遊戲中仍透露著東方文化的底蘊，在遊戲的最後道出王道的本質。於本次手遊改版裡，製作團隊又特別為中國部份增加了新的劇情，讓玩家伴隨賽特在中國經歷更多的冒險旅程。

After the update our iPhone 7 Plus screen cant tap the icons inside the game, every time we want to tap the icon we have to tap much farther to make it work. When is this going to be fix?
Im stuck after the boss fight in the cave after freeing two Arabians. The game just freezes and theres nothing we can do to proceed. Please fix that or we will need a refund.
This is our favorite Chinese RPG ever. Very impressive story and beautiful art conception, or we could say it shaped our view about a lot of stuffs when we were a teenager. Purchased and downloaded without hesitate and Couldn’t hold our tears when the theme music kicked in.
Why the heck is English included in the language description section when the only language you can play in is Chinese! Just wasted our 9 dollars!
