A Glimpse into 0h n0

It’s 0h h1’s companion game!

Remember that little logic game called 0h h1? Well, we’ve made a challenging new puzzle game to go along with it! Meet its companion… 0h n0.

0h n0 is a lovely little logic game that follows its own three rules:

  • Blue dots can see others in their own row and column.
  • Their numbers tell how many.
  • Red dots block their view.

It’s up to you to complete the grid without ever having to guess. Simply tap a tile to make it blue or red and complete the grid. 0h n0 gives you unlimited puzzles for all four grid sizes:

5 x 5
6 x 6
7 x 7
8 x 8

And now included: 4 x 4 and 9 x 9 boards!

Each puzzle can be played in perfect Zen mode without any pressure. But you can attempt to beat your personal best time in the game’s time trials, unlock fun achievements and compete with friends in leaderboards.

0h n0 is free, without ads, without social network requirements, without locked features and without nag screens. 0h n0 is a little gift to you. We hope you enjoy it.

0h n0 can also be played on 0hn0.com.
And if you haven’t played its sibling yet, go visit 0hh1.com.

This was one of the first games we tried on our phone. It never gets old, it is the definition of a great, engaging, entertaining, quick break.

Similar to oh hi in that it requires some basic pattern recognition, and quick thinking. Better than oh hi because its a bit more complex and requires some math skills. Great way to wake up your brain when competing against the clock.

Only criticism is that the hints are indecipherable. We’re comforted knowing no one else knows what they mean either.

Horrible app, tries to force a Game Center login every time it opens. Terrible design.

Great game. One suggestion: allow swiping to turn tiles blue. We would be able to solve puzzles even faster!!!

Almost as good as oh hi. One thing: we wish we could mark numbers that we’ve satisfied and no longer have to figure out, or that theyd be grayed automatically. (Id rather mark them myself.)

We love the addition of the dark theme in the most recent update. However, it makes any hints the game gives you invisible. Fix that and this game would be a perfect 5/5.

Please fix the 9×9, thank you.

A lot of the reviews seem to be from people who find the game frustrating and the hints unhelpful, but that shouldn’t influence you, dear citizen, from trying the game. The app itself has an excellent aesthetic and the puzzle has an interesting concept that is at least worth exploring. We enjoy it perhaps more than the original superstar 0h h1. Don’t knock it until you try it!

Mastered it! Would love a followup with more depth. Check out dots vs 2dots to see a great example of how you could go with a sequel.

We really enjoy playing this game. We wish we could get some more challenging levels because once u get used to the idea it gets pretty easy to finish the 8×8 in a minute or two.

We found this game over on Hacker News and love how it plays like a hybrid between Sudoku and Minesweeper. One small criticism is that the hints auto appear after a time delay. Can an option be made available to disable it?

Great idea! Please make bigger sizes, 9×9 etc.

Just the right amount of challenge. We found a bug, though: the timer keeps going even when you close the app or turn off the device.

"One specific dot is included in all solutions imaginable" is rather inscrutable. We still don’t get how this is supposed to clarify anything.

Fun and doesn’t get boring too fast. Addicting like Tetris.

This is a pretty fun game if you like challenging puzzle games. Some layouts can be a bit tricky to solve. The one drawback is that if you are looking at the timer it doesn’t seem to pause if you switch to something else.

Love this game but once you get the hang of it it’s too easy to complete all available levels. Hope they’ll be an update with more challenging puzzles.

This game is okay. It keeps the 0h h1 mechanics, but that’s it. This game is pretty confusing and frustrating. It doesn’t have as much replayability as 0h h1.

The hints are either difficult to understand or are not helpful. Would rather have a "red or blue here" hint than "maybe it could go in any possible space." Also, the ‘Games Room’ achievements that pop up (also in latest version of 0h h1) are annoying. There is no "clear board" option so we just backed out of boards to save time doing it by hand on the larger boards. Apparently there is an achievement for that! "Quitter!" Okay! You bet! Buh-bye! delete
