Great Single Player game. There could be some changes to some things, but overall, a good strategy game to kill time. Don't even touch online unless you're ready so spend cash – good for you if that's you, but online has "rankings," and for what, we don't know – people can buy cash to take over your strategy. Pretty lame. But go Single Player.
The game is wonderful but you only get like 15 characters and you have to pay 5 bucks per other character that you want to get so great game but limited experience.
It's fun to play as different candidates but the strategy is easy. Spend your first three turns buying the national interest groups, then lock up the states where the cost per electoral vote is least. Next go after the states needed to secure ethnic and industry blocs. Follow that and you'll get anywhere from 400-523 EVs every time.
Its a fun game, played it for years but we find the public games unfair because people can basically pay to win. They can purchase debate and get 500K right away and totally dominate the other player who has 250K. There should be game modes that dont allow currency purchases for rounds. Please change this.
This game has such a unique mechanic, and not only requires strategy, but also a huge challenge at times!! The candidate selection will continue to grow (we hope haha). But thats not the issue, considering theres DOZENS upon dozens of candidates to select from. Our issue is the multiplayer ai matches. Any ai match with 4 or more candidates takes a ridiculous amount of time. You can end your turn but the game will make you wait anywhere from 2-4 MINUTES for the ai to make their turn!! Its so irritating and makes anything but 1v1 or 3 player matches absolutely insufferable. We really hope they fix this issue. Besides that, we love love love.

This is a fun game to play and can teach kids the basics of elections as well as states and their outlines without them knowing it.
Loved the game years ago. We even purchased in game features such as new candidates. We came back to it and its just as good as we remember.
We like the thought of various non-political figures are considered as candidates and the advantages or disadvantages align to their actual view on political topics. We wish there were added bonuses/features to buy that would cause different actions by different political actors. Maybe options of how the money is spent (newspaper, social media, versus live tv). Also, maybe this can be in different levels, to win a state assembly or senate, the federal senator or assembly, VP, secretary of a dept, and etc. Up to world leader.
We have so much fun playing this game with our friends! We love the aspect of strategy and planning that makes it so competitive. We would definitely recommend 270.

This game makes you feel like youre on the campaign trail, you get to choose where to spend money and who to run. Its fun and competitive without the drawbacks of most multiplayer games. 100% recommended.

This game is accurate and fun to play with others. Our household plays it all the time. We have tournaments and everything.
There are hundreds of candidates to choose from. Plus, you get some independents. If you want Barack Obama, you have to buy him but for John McCain, you could get them in game free. We havent bought Barack Obama, but theres some things a little confusing. Like why is there an independent Trump? Why the heck is it here? Good game 10/10.

This is a very fun game! We love how all the different candidates have different levels of qualities and traits to them. It makes it interesting to come up with different tactics and plans to win. The developers are very amazing at updating and adding new candidates to the game frequently too! Some of the cons and suggestions we have about the game are that the CPU players that you play against are very easy to beat. While there is an option to buy a hard CPU difficulty level, we dont feel like the difficulty improved much. We would be willing to come back more often and buy different candidates if we had more of a challenge. Another issue is that it can often be hard to find people to play live games with. This game also has a lot of paywalls to play certain game modes and characters, and to unlock these isnt cheap. Which is a shame, but at the same time we know that the developers need to make their money to keep up the quality of the game. Another recommendation we have is to utilize the other diverse traits that the characters have been given. When you select a candidates profile it has many other traits that dont seem to be used when it comes to playing the game. Applying those trait levels would make the game even more interesting in our opinion. Also give Montana at least one state resource, Im sure that they must export something from that state. Lumber maybe? Haha Please keep improving the game it is a lot of fun, but could use some improvements. Thank you.

Very fun strategy game in general, but the cost for new candidates is way too high.
Ive had this game for a while now, is it fun? Yes. Interesting Characters? Yes. Its a fun game to play to kill time, BUT online head to head against other opponents is pay to win unfortunately. Nearly everyone Ive gone up against doesnt even go after the National Groups to get better funding, theyll just wait for the prompt to buy more party funds and just buy away to get more funding. We understand that the game needs to make money somehow instead of relying on people to buy characters which we wish that would just bundle a lot of characters together INSTEAF OF BUYING SEPERATELY. Offline we genuinely have fun which is where we spend a majority of our play time.
The game is called 270 and they said u only need 270 to win but in reality u need to win all 538 Not to mention this game is extremely hard and un fair.
There hasnt been too much added to the game itself, it gets repetitive it gets old. There will occasionally be new characters – fun, but there are simply too many QoL issues that havent been fixed in the 7+ years this game has been around. They only seem to innovate the player shop.
We love this game. As a political science major it is fun to strategize behind what national and state funding to go after. The strategy behind which politician you choose makes the game even more engaging.
Perfect game. Doesnt need internet, has intresting candidates, simple interface.
This is our go-to when we need to forget about our current political environment and just have some fun.
