Great for helping children think and spell correctly!
This is a fun and sometimes challenging game. We enjoy playing it!
We used to be obsessed with this game and cant wait to get obsessed again!
We love this game,I play every morning to wake up our brain and we play it at bedtime. Its a good game for seniors because it makes you think !! Highly recommended for all ages. We play with our granddaughters and beat them all the time. One is in College and the other is going off to College this fall. You wont be disappointed.
The tracking request upon initial launch of the game has been removed. That was the only thing keeping this from being an excellent and fun game to play everyday as we do. Previous review: As so many other reviewers we are also getting the accept tracking screen upon first launch every day. There is no response to tapping either option. You can only tap continue. This began with the current update but should not be continued.
Great game! We have been playing the game for over 8 years. It was always good and challenging but now, it seems some of the pictures have almost nothing to do with the answer. Also, the developer should consider decreasing how much it cost to get one of the letters to the puzzles. You can lose half of what you accumulated over weeks with just one puzzle.

The opening screen to allow tracking does not change anything. You can still stop tracking within the the app settings which are off by default.

We’ve been playing this game for a while. However, sometimes the points dont go through.
We been playing this game for many, many years. As another reviewer mentioned, the system runs out of new puzzles frequently! It takes seemingly forever for new puzzles to be released! Id like to see an effort to generate new puzzles frequently so a continuous supply is available to customers to download and play. Most of the puzzle pictures are relevant but there are many, many pictures that have little to no relevance to the pictures presented. We sometimes scratch our head, look up the word and the dictionary provides no connection to some of the pictures. Its very frustrating when some of the clues are distracting and detrimental to our puzzle solving efforts! Please seek out these pictures and replace them with appropriate ones. Thank you!

We think they are getting a little hard lately and the coins are too much to ask for a free ladder, we’ve been doing this for years we wish you could change a couple of things. Thank you.
This is a good game but it is next to impossible to get the people at the app support to understand issues with the game that impedes people playing & gathering monthly badges with their animation & completion star. We just wasted more than 20 minutes trying to get help with a very recent issue with the Animal Friends monthly end game badge that looks like a brown horse with a picket fence & bales of hay as well as sending our iPhone operating information to try & address the problem with screenshots & was told that the emails were too short & didnt give enough information. Now without such informational content, everything is going to be for nothing within 72 hours or 3 days. Such issues are stupid.
We’ve played this game dailyuntil now. We have a choice about data collection now. BUT cannot continue unless we accept data collection. No!
We are seriously thinking about deleting the 4 pics one word app. We definitely dont want to share our data. We are seriously tired of the RIVAL portion constantly hanging up and the only way out is to resign, even when our score is higher then our opponent.
Hate that we cannot select ask app not to track. That screens default is set to allow and we have yet to be able to select do not track. The next button works, no problem. Id give 5 stars if the app wouldnt track users.
So disappointed. They have changed the app to try to track data. It didnt give the option to refuse and when we went to the settings and adjusted it after accepting, the next time we logged in it was asking again. We had the app for years and loved playing but we do not approve of it tracking our data. We had to delete it because there seemed to be no way avoid the it. We were so sad to see it go.
Stop trying to steal our data!! We will NEVER allow you to get our data!! Such a shame you people are so greedy!!
Gives our brain a little exercise.
Just recently every time we log into the game which has been every day it is trying to force us to allow tracking. It will not give us the option to continue to select do not track. This is very irritating because we do not wait for them to track us. If this continues we will simply delete this game even though we enjoy it.
Too many hard and super hard words. Some pictures we have never heard of. Maybe we should quit since we have been playing for three years +.

This game has actually help us spell better.
We have played this game for years with great enjoyment. But the new IQ mode has made 4 Pics a high pressure game that demands daily play or penalizes players by docking IQ points for not playing and thereby insinuat ping that their IQ is getting lower. We find such tactics insidious and will not be playing unless the IQ mode is removed.
This used to be our husbands and our favorite game. Whether we were home together or in different locations, we could still play together. Now every time we ask a friend for help, it always says Already done. Youve already helped your friend solves this puzzle. Thanks! Meanwhile, the sender never completed the puzzle nor did we have this particular puzzle before. We deleted the app, shut our tablet off, then reinstalled the app, and we lost all of our earned points and had to start over. Neither of us want to do that on our iPhones because we have accumulated over 30,000 points and our husband is up to game #6980. Clearly weve invested many a night in this game. Now its no fun any longer and if this cant be corrected, itll just be another app we delete to find a better one. Total shame.
We used to love this game. So many changes later – Im about done with it. Id played for so long we had worked our way to get frequent hints when a puzzle sat unsolved for even a day or two – now that feature seems to have nearly disappeared, which felt like losing a status is built up over a few years. The rules governing hints no longer align with indicators that a user actually would benefit from a hint. We sometimes get a hint within minutes of opening a new puzzle, while other puzzles can sit for weeks with no hint given. That change alone really decreased the enjoyment for us – who mostly plays casually in short spurts just to take a mental break from other things. The latest intro of the Puzzle IQ is completely unnecessary and irritating to us. No way to turn it off. Whats the point of this? Were users begging for a chance to track something called IQ points, which of course dont really reflect a players actual IQ at all? Why add these kind of features? Very often – simpler is better.
We hate the new IQ measure on this game. We’ve been playing for years and this adds nothing. As someone who has administered IQ tests we think its an inappropriate as well as useless attempt to assess intelligence even for fun.
The average Iq is 90. Your intelligence doesnt go down that fast each day your just using that to get people to play everyday when most people cant. If you solve a puzzle your iq should not go up that fast. Your Iq takes time to build up this isnt right.
