Been playing this since 2011. Theres really nothing like this game. The style the music the smoothness and its been around way longer than most games. Its a classic and hits our nostalgia brain so good 10/10.

This game is what iPhone gaming is all about. Simple. Elegant. Beautiful. The design, colors, controls, soundtrack, gameplay cant beat it. This game isnt trying to take your time or money. Its simply made to give you enjoyment of flying across the screen and having fun while doing it. Support this developer if you can.
Just prefacing that this is a game that has stood the test of time. We remember playing it a lot at least a decade ago. Its just as engaging and fun as it was back then. This is perfect if youre looking for a low-stakes, low-investment game that you can hop into at any time. Its really nice to destress after work. We would like to make a comment that some of the missions are frustrating. The best part of the game is to get good slides and fly high. Thats the whole reason we play, and why its so satisfying. But there are missions that are like dont get good slides/fever mode/etc until Island X. Sure, these things pose a fair challenge, but it holds players back from enjoying the spirit of the game. Most of the time with these, its a slog of just having the bird slide as suboptimally as possible until youve finally hit the goal of reaching a certain island. Its less about skill and more about wasting time, and the missions goal pushes you away from enjoying the games core features. Id say its anti-fun, but maybe thats too harsh for an optional mission. We would just appreciate if you replaced these sorts of missions with something less contrary to the fun of the game. We think the missions that ask us to get a certain amount of good slides or activate fever mode a certain amount of times are already great. The avoid popping bubbles one is great because if you are skilled enough, you can still go fast and high, but just have to time trajectory well. Its a good balance, and super satisfying.
Fun game. Been playing it for years. However, it does not seem to play nice with IOS 26. Frame rate is very jittery and have seen multiple instances where you fly over a coin ( normal and speed coins ) and it doesn't get picked up. IPhone 13 mini for hardware reference. We put phone in airplane mode prior to playing to avoid any background network traffic.
We started playing this game in 2012 as a senior in study hall. We were obsessed. Friends and we beat every mission. Started playing again since the update. Only thing we wish was the leader boards the top ones are clearly hacked and fake . Wish we truly knew what the legit best scores are.

Ive been playing this game since we were a kid after our older brother introduced us to it. Im 20 now and still come back to this game. It holds a special place in our heart and we want to thank the developers for keeping it on the AppStore and even updating/adding to the game still to this day. Ive been playing this game since we first got it on our ipod touch and it still holds up really fun and full of charm and im so happy that there was a huge update!!! We highly highly recommend, we love the visuals and audio and everything.
This game may have added a few new features, but it still remains ad-less and a wonderful experience for any age. We would recommend to anyone looking for a fun challenge or good time.

What a coincidence that there are two 2D round birds that cant fly so they use an alternate way of flying, released around the same time on the same platform. This is one clever way of using 2D physics to the game designs advantage with a simple input. So nice that Andreas kept updating this game after 2011 and even added lore (ooh!). Its all just implied lore and no dialogue, though (and we like it that way).

What ever happened to the old way of making iOS games with character, art, and music? This is a great app.
This game has been close to our heart and a favorite for many years, next to Minecraft and Threes, for just general relaxation. Play a few rounds on break at work, when you come home, taking turns with your kids, etc. One thing that we will mention that took us a bit to realize, the perks in the new birds do not work in Day Trip Standard if they affect game play (bounce off hilltops, start with a super jump, speed coins are stronger, etc.). Not a big deal, but it would be cool if everything worked across the board, but we understand why they did it that way. FLY AWAY.
This is genuinely the best 3 dollars we have ever spent.
This game is such a classic. Our brother used to play this game for hours on end when we were younger, and would get high score after high score. Im so glad its still available for play, and is still being updated!! Keep up the great work. Its such a smooth satisfying game to play.

Ive had this game on and off since it came out and our goodness ive always loved it, its been one of our favorite ios games ever. Its so easy and yet complex, and is so cute at the same time. Before the new update came out we STEADY played the race with the four little birds and maxed out all the islands, and never really played the normal daily bird. Since the update its gotten so much more interactive and we truly love it. Thank you to whoever made this game, and has kept it going over the years.

We love this game so much because it has no ads and is super fun also dont buy its evil cousin sand dunes because it has lots of ads and is pay to win and if youre wondering why tiny wings costs money its because its beautiful. 3$ is totally worth it for the beauty of this game. It gives us a sense of nostalgia and when mobile games actually had work put into it so you should definitely buy this. Also dear developers: please dont add ads or pay to win because it will not be fun anymore. We think that you should also add an infinite mode where you can just play until the end because we think that would be fun for long trips or car rides :).
Ive been playing this game for years now and Im never disappointed!! This review might be all over but we have much to say! After mastering the game multiple times within each update we would then play the game to soothe our anxiety, especially when we get really worked up. The music helps a lot too, we love the games music. Tiny wings is a great game to soothe anxiety when needed and to have fun when wanted. Its a mixed bag of a game and we love it so much!! We dont make reviews often but we just wanted to congratulate whoever helps make this game great. We will say, at first we were a little upset with the new update because the hills were so pointy and it stressed us out; but then we got use to it because it reminded us of waves. HOWEVER!!! You can go back to the standard hills if youd like. Its so great, and now theres a dark mode too and Ive been wanting that feature for so long. So so so happy!! Good job Tiny Wings crew.
Tiny Wings is a true game that has style, passion, and love coded into every second of it! You can tell the second you start playing! We are so truly ecstatic that the developer has returned to bless us with more updates because we have been playing this game since before we even had a phone and would beg to borrow our parents. We hope Tiny Wings lives forever.
It's the best game on the app store (please change the night sky back, though. We liked the old stars better, and it's all too bright now).
Mainly design choices? Personally, we havent experienced any crashes (yet) but we do notice some lag in the daily mode. Other than that, the game seems fine to us at least. Our main complaints are about the designs of the new night mode, the bubbles, and the moon. Ill start off with the moon because its throwing us off the least. Overall, the moon actually looks really cute! We were really excited to see we finally have a moon in place(unless we already did. We cant remember). The only thing that bothers us about it is the texture of it? Compare it to the sun, and it doesnt look aspainted? The best way we can describe it is that it feels like a plastic object in a painted world. Which kind of leads us into our other design critiques. The bubbles also look out of place in the Tiny Wings world. We can understand where the bubble idea came from, dreamlike world and all, but the design looks like its just a placeholder. Once again, not really painted and kind of sticks out like a sore thumb. Ive been thinking changing the bubbles to clouds would work well. Same function, but it would also blend into the world a lot better. We dont have much to say on the functionality of the bubbles just yet. We think thatd be a little unfair since we havent given ourselves the time to get used to it yet. The way nighttime looks now has thrown us off the most. We know its probably supposed to imply moonlight on the hills, but it feels far too loud. We miss the soft feeling that nighttime used to have. The glowy-ness feels a little unnecessary. Also random point, but we notice that now if we play as a daytime bird in flight school and reach one of the nighttime levels, there are no stars in the sky. We dont have this issue if we switch to using a nighttime bird though. All things considered, we still really love this game and Im really excited to collect all the new nighttime birds, but we just cant get over how unfinished and out of place some of the new designs feel. Still giving this four stars though because Ill always love this game and be biased towards it. Thank you for giving this to us and for continuing to do so <3 Edit: sike we cannot bear to give this game less than five stars. Think its still worth it to point these things out though.
This is an great game to play in your free time and when you are bored, coming from a 40 year old (lol) this is overall fairly entertaining and simple. Its amazing for kids too, its just easy and takes up no space and no ads.
Love the game and the new update, but it crashes after island 4 in the today version. Hope to get it fixed soon.
Nuff said 3.2.25 (updated review) – still love this game and love the newly released update. However, today the game started crashing every time im about to slide down the final hill on level 4 of the today mode. Keep trying and keeps crashing in the same spot.
Tiny Wings & Tiny Wings + Love the game updates. Todays version (both games) repeatedly quits and restarts toward the end of the 4th Island.
We honestly love this game it has 0 ads and you can honestly have fun like you used to on mobile games, so if the developer ever sees this, thank you so much.
We purchased Tiny Wings way back in June of 2011 and it has remained one of our favorite mobile games of all time. It is a casual and satisfying game with a very easy learning curve, but can take time to truly master playing the game. The February 2025 feature update introduces two new game modes, and Im all for it. Its a much better way of earning coins to get new birds, instead of having to grind away with the same missions/islands. Andreas, Im not sure if you read all reviews, but thank you for your continued support of this game after 14 years. It still looks and plays great to this day, and Im glad to see its still being enjoyed by many people.
One of those apps thats lasted the test of time. No in app purchases, and no privacy issues. The developer just released a huge update adding a ton of content to a game from 2012.
So Im terrible at tiny wings but not on races. We get in 1st place like 92.5% of the time. That 7.5% is always last place.
We absolutely live this game. Great aesthetic and smooth gameplay. The music and sounds are adorable and super nostalgic for us having redownloaded this recently after about a decade. Our only qualm is that the audio is totally bugged out and doesnt work for us. Ive redownloaded and still cant get the music or sounds to play out of our phone speakers. Sound plays with headphones but no music, which was honestly why we downloaded it again after all this time. Please fix this.
Great game and very fun but we were playing and then we lost all the types of birds we got and it started our entire game over but we would definitely recommend this game to people.
Egg prices get insane, which we guess is realistic to real life lol, but also there should be a better indicator of how much time of the day that you have especially after increasing the duration, numbers with the dial would be ideal, but bros dies all that this is one of the very few games that have stood the test of time that you can still play even if youre like us and first played this on you iPod touch 4th gen in highschool fantastic work dev, keep it up :).
Im not sure why it has been glitchy and lagging lately.
Latest update is not good. The original game is gone. In the update the bird drops sooner in between islands and you cannot have a smooth landing. Wish you would have left the original game alone and added another game to it.
The perfect game! However the daily mode crashes every time we try to play it. Please fix this bug.
The bird selection is kind of broken. And our game keeps crashing. But anyway, it makes us really happy to see a new update for this game. :) we used to listen to the night music to fall asleep. Its soothing.
We love the new update but the price for eggs is so high after collecting around 100 birds! We wouldnt be that upset since we dont have many left, but now its up to chance if you hatch a day bird or a night bird with our 5000 coins and Id rather finish up the day birds before moving onto the night ones. We think the night birds should also start at a low price and gradually increase as the day birds do, which is why we think separate stores to buy eggs from is a good idea.
Need lower price of eggs: 120 daytime and 120 night now infinity grind of solar coins P. S. After collect 105 day eggs now price is 5000. How much it would be for nights eggs.
