Version 1.6 is finally here! The author did not disappoint.
But after updating to version 1.6 we cant open archives that we have played for a long time before!It will automatically quits the game on the loading page! We hope this can be fixed.
Ill play his game on any platform, but we started with IOS so its the one we keep going back to. SV is our favorite game of all time (Im GenX and grew up playing all the greats). Concerned Ape has thought of everything. Every nook and cranny of this game is brilliant. Im looking forward to Haunted Chocolatier, but we will always go back to replay Stardew. edit 11/4/24 THANK YOUUUU FOR THE IOS UPDATE.
1.6 Finally dropped, guess this is what Im doing for the rest of the week.
We absolutely love stardew valley and usually id have nothing bad to say, but unfortunately with the 1.6 updates release, theres a issue with wallpaper, causing the wallpaper to generally not work and seemingly glitch out with the full house upgrade.
If we touch the phone, selling box, a npc, and sometimes even our bed, itll just crash and kick us out the game. We have no mods, internet is at full bars, its updated, we cleared our storage on our tablet, it just keeps happening! We love this game but after the update we cant even play it.
This is one of the best games ever made, but the game isnt properly set up for the mobile version. The menus are slightly bigger than the screen, so when you enter the calendar you have to click the perfect spot on the edge of your phone to hit the barely visible X. We would love it if you could fix it.
We have played for a while now and its amazing but fishing is so hard! Like the thing goes so fast.

Minecraft, but 2D and better. Tools don't degrade durability and the only way to lose items/progress is to reach 0 health in the mines. Many ways to accomplish quests to match your preference (we liked dungeons more than farming). Random events keep us hooked on what will happen the next in-game day.
Please do add proper controller support, it would be great.
Love the gameplay just having trouble with island quest like for birdie we cant give her the item to finish her quest so Im stuck there. And for the trader there we cant give scroll to select the amount of purple flowers on the island.
This game is so much fun omg U HAVE TO GET IT.
There is a slight lack of direction when starting out but if you are patient enough to get through the first season, youll never look back. We lean on the Wikipedia page a lot for information but theres just so much to do that it always pulls us back in. The artwork and music incredible. Thank you Mr. Barone for this labor of love.
Im nearly 60 and have been a gamer for a long time. Our daughter, who has been playing this game for 10-15 years, let us play a bit on her switch and then we bought the game for $5 as our personal b-day gift. Its addicting and fun, and the sweetest game ever. The hardest part to master was the fishing, but once you become more adept, which takes a few seasons, the green bar gets bigger making fishing easier. The thing we love the most is how many treasure hunts there are, and the challenges of mining, and monster hunting. Ive recently reached the forge in the volcano mines on Ginger Island, and have even managed to find dragon teeth. Our favorite characters are Krobus and Leo. We stay away from some aspects of the game, but overall its a five star. Love it.
We played it briefly on the PC and we were hesitant about getting it on iOS because of the simplified controls. After playing with it for a few minutes we realized that the simplified controls are much better for us. Yes, sometimes we accidentally gift people bait and set off bombs unintentionally on our farm. But we think the tap interface is so much easier than the cumbersome keyboard controls. On the PC we spent a couple of nights sleeping on the porch because we couldnt figure out how to open the door! The game itself is excellent. It is so satisfying to go from astruggling farmer to become affluent in the game. There are also many puzzles sprinkled into the game. And there is the constant pursuit of the next improvement of your tools or your farm.
The game is really cute and fun but sometimes it crashes and our screen goes black while we're in the middle of something.and then we have to start over.
We are however having issues with the 1.6 update. Our anvil doesnt work at all. Doesnt do a thing.
We love the game, but we also would love if we could use our Backbone controller with it.
Out of all the games Ive played on mobile and consol we Can say with all our pride this is the best game ever only regret we have is not being able to play it sooner thank you concernedape for making a masterpiece.
Got it for our iphone, laptop, and switch and ive been playing it religiously on our switch, loved Harvest Moon growing up and this game gives us the things we missed in games. Overall the most addictive game we have.
Its a great game and everything is really perfect. We have a suggestion that we feel would keep players playing. There should be updates where some events in the game actually connect to the real world like a Halloween event or a Christmas event. This would really be cool because it would keep players engaged and if would be more interesting and cozy. Other than that this game is perfect and maybe a few new NPCS should be added. Great game.

We love this game!! The only thing thats bad is that it is kinda boring. Other than that, AWESOME!!! Also, if you want to get a big farm and other stuff, you have to not use that much money. (For things that arent important).

We love this game so much! Our one complaint is the fishing mechanic, its really cool, but its just so hard! We live in this game and am having the best time ever! Edit: Also, can you add mods to mobile? If so, how?! We cant find any way in game or in the App Store to do it.

We love this game so much, we have it on iPad and PC. However, on iPad, whenever there is a cutscene, the resolution zooms way out and then never returns to normal until we restart the game. This has been an issue for a while despite several updates.
Like we said we love the game but we are stuck on a glitch that froze the game and we can we can only zoom in and out.
There are not enough words to express how amazing this game is <3 Anyone rating one star is due to USER ERROR.
Using the Konami code to access the (currently in beta) co-op mode of this version wouldve easily sold us the rest of the way. Eric, keep being you.

One of our friends introduced us to this. Its incredibly fun and addicting, combining a farming simulator with a visual novel. You can build relationships with characters (both romantic and non) and the art is fantastic ! Only issue Ive had is our entire barn got deleted, along with all our animals and auto grabber, and Id appreciate getting them back without having to spend all our gold again? Other than that its been great.
We find that this is the og cozy game but in 2025 it still holds up amazingly the characters are charming and fun the game play loop is addictive we originally played this game on switch and started a new save for mobile we found we could easily make the settings the way we want. We also think this game really shows the other side of the gaming industry and deserves all the hype if not more 100% worth way more money than five dollars and even though it is not a mobile game technically. It is perfect if you want an actual mobile game that is fun and relaxing. We also absolutely LOVE the slimes in the game and think breeding them is fun! Tltr: Play stardew valley you will not regret it.

We Abouslty love it but one thing. We need more quest cause we don't like fishing and that's the only thing it gives us so we just want more quest that doesn't have to be on the wanted thingy.
Though we know youre very busy, any attention on this area would be greatly appreciated. We have this game on our console for multiplayer, pc for mods and mobile for- well, being mobile. The combat on the mobile version specifically has a tendency to just let you die in auto mode, which is basically the only playable way for every area of the game combined. Youll be holding your sword and it will just not. Do. Anything. You try to block them and it just allows the monster to hit you. Ive gotten through the normal caves after some serious turmoil but since we cant allow the green bugs to hit us more than a few times, theres no getting through like there is on pc and console. Thanks for an awesome game.
This game is great we have it on the pc and switch, we got it on our iPad but we are unable to use our apple key board with it. Is there any way to add support to this in the future.
One of the best games Ive ever played. The adventure and characters make this game amazing. We cant say everything we can, so we will just say, if you find this game, give it a try if you want.
We Love stardew valley its the only game Ive kept playing for over a year, its challenging has lots of different choices, we love the 1.6 update, overall one of the best and most entertaining games Ive ever played 100% recommend.
Its a nice game, definitely recommend. Allows you to explore and do things on your own time and on your own pace. All while still sticking into the main role play aspect. The first few years are the most enjoyable, but like most games after completing to a certain level things stale out a little. Thats where different farms come in, or even co-ops which they are experimenting currently with which all can help with more experiences. But even then completing it is no easy task, if your not speed running things this game is definitely long run. 10/10.
Stardew valley is such a fun game and is the best ever.
We love this game we are addicted. We have over a hundred hours yet have barely scratched the surface of this amazing game. There are so many different playstyles, you can kill monsters, farm, fish, befriend, craft, cook, decorate and so much more. We love krobus as he gives us an opportunity to fulfill the achievement and stardrop for friendship/ having a housemate without having to get married, hes just so adorable in his own way. There are many things to do post main game, which we would say is completing the community center (or if you have no soul, going the Kona route) it also has a wonderful community with co op local if you just look up a little Easter egg, there is so much to discover for casual players and completionists alike, this is our favorite game ever and is very well priced.
We love the game in general we just wish it had multiplayer on mobile,so far great game and have been playing it for a long time,.
