The game is gd but to many ads and then the ads take forever we just shut the game off.
Hate that when you try to press the x after the ad is over it will open up multiple windows if it happens to work properly. So annoying.

We always thought tetris was just a boring version of block blast until we had to get tetris instead of block blast. We actually LOVE tetris and im 13, alot of 13 yr olds always are playing block blast or something but we swear on our life that we love tetris, whenever our friend steals our phone thats all she plays, tetris. Anyways, the ads arent as fun sometimes but we still lovee the game.
Giving 4 stars in hopes people will see our review at the top. This Tetris sucks! Why are there tetriminos with faces giving us a tutorial. We feel like we mustve downloaded the wrong Tetris but we cannot find a better one. We want classic basic Tetris. UPDATE: go to Tetris Arcade by Boris David!! Its a one time dollar payment and its basic Tetris.
Too many ads to difficult to get out of.
Non stop game ads after every level.
This game is cool but it has ads after every level that opens our browser to a different website without us even clicking on anything. Is that legal.
We love this game and we love Tetris however there are so many dang ads! And you cant even turn off the internet to skip them because the app refuses to work offline even though the creators say it should.
It use to be a great game to play, not many ads during the game itself. But not its all ads & once youre in ad theres no way to x-out of it w/o having to shut down the whole app & start over. Im gonna delete this app if we cant play w/o the ads. Just had to mess up a good thing.
Too many playable ads that you cannot exit out of without force closing the app and reopening it. Ridiculous for such a long time loved game like Tetris. The game itself is great. We dont like how you can pay to have no ads but only for 30 days how about a one time fee for no ads ever? Or make it more easy to exit out of ads you arent interested in.
Just let us pay $5 to play the real Tetris game. These ads constantly popping up and the currencies are so unnecessary.
We've played this app for years and got to level 5371 which is not even a so-called "hard" level and yet we've been stuck on it for two months despite the fact we regularly pay for no ads and it is obvious that to achieve this level we must watch ads or spend, and we refuse, so we are finally quitting the game we love in protest. This despite the fact developers finally fixed the glitches that had begun to negatively affect play and almost inspired us to leave the app. Also, they added a very manipulative character whoo looks like a cinnamon toast crunch that cries and pouts when you decline to watch and ad or spend for more moves. Greed is bad, mmmkay and very annoying, eapecially for one who has spent so much on the game since 1985 and own the great movie about it. Very disappointing because these factors have sapped the joy out of it for us. Adios.
Its Tetris but theres no ad-free option so you cant advance a level without having to watch an ad that wont close out.
We loved Tetris back in the day. This game resembles it a lot and would be fun. But cant even play more than a few minutes before it wants to soak you with ads. The high ratings have to paid for because nobody would put up with so many ads and give it high stars.
Game is good, similar to what we remember. The barrage of ads in between levels is maddening. Even if it reduced by 75%, it would be annoying.
Monthly payments for ad free is ridiculous. $3/month means that you will pay $36/year 2 years and thats $72 and it keeps climbing. Stick with it for 6 years$216. 12 years = $432 for something you should have owned outright a decade ago. Make it a one time payment around $30-$40 and Id pay it. Monthly is a hard pass.
Theres an ad that pops up after every level you complete or even when you fail a level. Theres no option to pay a few dollars for no ads but you have to pay $3 a month for no ads. We love Tetris but every single mobile game nowadays has ads and its truly making games no fun to play anymore.
Deleted the game because the amount of adds is ridiculous.
Tetris is our favorite game ever but the number of ads that you have to sit through makes it unusable. The whole point is getting in he zone and continue as it gets harder. Impossible to do when youre constantly interrupted with ads for game you have not interested in. Would buy a paid version in a heartbeat to avoid this nonsense.

Why in the world would you use a minute and more for ads? Do you think that theres a chance we would download an app after 10-15 seconds? Trying to entice us? Not working. Tetris is a great game but the ads brutally diminish the games appeal! If the programmers think that having an ad that lasts more than 15 seconds make a player more apt to download their game they are greatly and sadly mistaken. Add take way too long. If your goal is to frustrate and annoy those who play your games, YOU ACHIEVED YOUR GOAL!!! We enjoy being challenged playing Cube Master 3D but we are going to refuse a second chance when our initial time is up, and, no, we wont pay..,.
We have enjoyed this app on and off for many years, and have seen all the various phases this game has gone through. While we have personal preferences, none have ever been completely harmful as our marathon run being interrupted midway through by a mid-role ad???? We have full understanding of ads before/after each run, but this affects gameplay too much to still be playable. If this could be changed we would have no issue with the app going forward.
Way too many ads. Ruined the game.
We just want to play the game bottom to top. But it sets up obstacles, then interrupts our play every 2 minutes to show an add & make us start over.
We like how the game feels so fun and challenging at the same time.
Gave this 4 stars only due to the fact there seems to be an issue where sometimes the game does what it wants and the blocks fall instead of turning when tapping the screen. Aside from that fun classic.
This is kind of a complaint, it is a great app that lets you play Tetris and adds a few new things but they had offline mode, but to use offline mode you need internet, not good for when your on a road trip and you cant connect to anything, your gonna have to keep it running in the background and hope that IOS doesnt close it or choke it a bit.
The game itself is fun, but there are way too many pop-ups going on The little dude and too many visuals in between the game. We pay monthly for the ad free version, but it seems like all these pop-ups WITHIN the game are almost as annoying.

Was really good until ads started popping up during game play. The game keeps running in the background so blocks stack up and you cant do anything about it.
Game is ok. Even with full silencing it still makes sounds when you start it. To much effort spent to make it exciting. Exciting is not why you play Tetris.
The gameplay itself is fine, but theres way too much extra nonsense in the game even aside from the ads. They need to stop trying to get you to click on things and buy things when you just want to play. They need to streamline the player experience to make it more enjoyable. Too much friction.
We like this Tetris version, but like too many things lately, the ads are purposely designed to be as annoying as humanly possible. They come up and just stay there. No close button ever appears, only a link to open the advertised app in the store. We have to close the app to get rid of them. We dont mind watching ads as long as its not every thirty seconds. But theyve made these ads so intrusive that the only really fun is if you pay to get rid of the ads. Uninstalled. At least all these money-hungry app and streaming companies are making us wake up and realize how little we need electronics to have fun. Nature is still free. At least for now anyway.
Overall the game itself is good and fun. The problem with mobile is that you get bombarded with ads every single time you click any ANY button. At first it is tolerable but it gets to a point where you just get annoyed.
Love Tetris, but just Way too many ads. And the ads are soooooo long and have to close each one out 4 or 5 times to get back to the game. MISERABLE.
Fun as it istoo many ads and tells you youre out of moves when youre not.
Ads block won available features and earned next levels. Its fun if you have the patience to hard restart the app constantly.
Once again the offline does not work. It was working for a while but not anymore, Its Tetris we shouldnt need to be connected to the internet to play. The suggestion of using airplane mode does not work, and frankly should not be necessary. We are able to toggle into offline mode, but after a moment, we get connection lost, please try to reconnect.

Tetris is our life, we wake up early just to play it and omg we close our eyes and dream of tetris. Tetris is our one true love.
Trust us, get it because this game is exactly AND EXACTLY, like every tetris game.
Omg, this game is awesome like the designs are so cool, and its so satisfying.
The game is super fun its pretty similar to block blast (also super fun) the only thing is that you need WiFi which sucks on flights. Also the ads are annoying. Very intertaning.
Honestly we love this game, we play it before we sleep, or whenever we feel anxious. We love that you get prizes and harder levels. The one thing to improve is the darn adds, they pop up after EVERY level! If the adds werent that bad, it would be a 5 star review.
