We remember downloading this for the first time almost ten years ago and we fell in love with this game. We havent played in years, but we feel it deserves a five star review because this truly was a game we grew up playing.
We would love if they made it truly multiplayer. We would absolutely love playing with friends and Im sure others would aswell.
Our game crashed when we were spawning Charger.
We first downloaded the game years ago an we recently redownload the game we forgot how fun the game is to play the only things should be added is a flying to build an more creatures an more different kinds of blocks to use to build with other then that this is a very fun an a great way to past the time away best building game to play n there is one problem what we notice sometimes the portals dont work.
Been a long time since we played this game, since high school in the early 2010s. Runs fine on the new iPad A16.
We have 2 issues about Eden – World Builder. First, the game crashes on Phone Calls and Second, the game crashes on FaceTime Calls.

We cant believe this game got an update but we are all here for it.
We just wanted to say that this was our favorite game growing up (we are 21 now). We built whole worlds and we remember showing them off to our friends and they couldnt believe we were able to do that. This game activated our creativity, and we are very grateful for it. Thanks.
First of all, this game is a big part of our childhood, thanks for all the fun memories we have two suggestions (which are probably others suggestions which should be added): 1. Flying. It could make you go faster, and unlike Minecraft you should be able to clip through blocks. We are not sure how to toggle flying, apart from a double jump, maybe a switch in the in-world settings or..? 2. Movable blocks. You can push them around, and they can move indefinitely on ice blocks. You should also be able to place regular blocks on top of them, so players can make cool stuff like vehicles. Im not sure if reviews are the right place for suggestions, but we hope this is seen (it might not be), sorry for the long review but 5 stars for your great game.
We love this game and we wouldnt want the flame to die out. We noticed that the loading sign shows up more frequently when you are moving within your world. Other than that we would recommend this game and hate to see it be abandoned.
When this was first released it was great, but it's been changing in recent updates. It used to be its own thing, but it's slowly becoming more and more of a minecraft knockoff. Each update also makes it slower and more buggy. Ideally, return to v1.7 (or release it as a separate app). The red creatures, general lack of creatures, health, slow loading, bugs with sharing worlds, unreliable roller coasters, etc in v2 seem different to the original concept of a fun sandbox game.
Add clouds in sky once again… It was too funny to walk on them :).
We have always loved Eden, we have played it since Ive been just a little child. And Ive loved what they have done with it in the past, but we regret updating it, we do not like what they have done with it this time. We do not like the look of everything, and we wish they would go back to how it was before. Until then we will probably not continue playing it cause its just not as fun with everything that was changed.
Ive used the app for years but recently the worlds Ive been using(including download ones) just completely clear out and we loose a ton of work. Im super frustrated because we just lost a world Ive been working on for a while and now we have to start completely over. We dont know if this is a bug or there needs to be a new update but it needs to be fixed.
For 8 years Ive played this game so much after 2.0 came out. Shortly after 2.0 came 2.1 which was the last update for 8 years. In 2.1, those 8 years got us so used to the control hitboxes, the fast loading, smooth gameplay, and the creatures. Throughout the years we kept improving on building and having fun. Soon, we began to make our own mini games like flappy batty, and many more. Over the years, we got so used to the controls, and made our own mini games that kept getting better. We made games like a random game where you walk through a library, Box Dog, our Husky Roxy, and Evil Angela. This made Eden – world builder practically our own game engine. We continued to make more and more games, or even giant structures! When we tried Eden – new dawn, it felt slow and laggy, so we decided to stick with the old Eden. However, when 2.2 came out, we saw that the icon changed. We looked on the App Store and saw the update. Once we opened the app, it was like Eden – new dawn. The game never felt the same. At least we can use the classic textures, but the things that slowed us down at gameplay include the fact that the jump button is moved slightly to the left, the loading is slower and theres more lag. Before 2.2 we predicted an update that would add tons of new blocks, creatures, and even multiplayer. We always wanted an update to the game that would add lots of new features similar to 1.5 or 2.0 did. But 2.2 means that building our massive structures will take forever. Maybe it wouldve been better if the game never got updated from 2.1, we dont know if we regret wanting an update to this game but 2.2 makes the game unplayable.
We grew up playing this game and each update has been a major downgrade. The latest update completely changed the look of all our worlds, have no desire to play the game anymore unless it gets fixed.
This game was in a fine state for years. While it didnt try and compete with any other games it was fun to just come back and play every once in a while to look back on the worlds we made when we were younger. A new update was released recently which added a texture pack feature, a nice addition but also bizarrely removed and adjusted some features leading to old worlds looking incredibly ugly. First, all creatures that were previously placed in a world appear to have been wiped from existence. This removed years of work we put into our worlds that heavily used creatures to act as important characters or civilians in a world. Secondly, the lighting system in this game has changed massively. All lights now have a massively extended range making everything incredibly bright. This is especially problematic as the dark sky mode always had such an amazing atmosphere with the dim lights of the old version. The lighting changes appear to be more like a bug though as when looking at the point cubes you can clearly see the model is broken. Finally and least importantly, the buttons on screen at all times appear to have been changed in some way that they are harder to hit now. We think the resolution of the game has changed or something. If the developers read these reviews, we would beg of them to revert this update. If that isnt possible, please, fix the lighting so every world that has lights doesnt look like the middle of a city.
Pleased with the newest update but, there is lots of lag being experienced making the game very difficult to play.
We really enjoy this game. We always love the idea of designing and building a world. Every time we play Eden we always feel like Im all by ourselves traveling on a distant planet thats similar to earth.
Had this since we were 5 with our cousin and wed play all the time. Miss it a bunch.
Great for creative building. Sometimes you just want to create without trying to survive or earn rewards. Please add more functions and sizes of objects.
Ive had this game since we had an iPod touch 4 (our first apple product and also the first big purchase we made on our own). We have been able to maintain the same save/world since then (until now). Now when we load into our world everything is blurry and the blocks menu is all messed up. We have put so much time into this game, and we really dont want to loose the world Ive built (even though its not as big and grand as others). When we realized how messed up it was, we looked to see if we could possibly get it running on our PC, unfortunately we cannot. We doubt anyone will see this, and/or care to do anything about it. We just really want to keep our world. Not only is it our favorite app, it was also one of the first apps we ever downloaded, and Id just hate to see it go.
In our experience with Minecraft and its ripoff that people like most out of all Minecraft ripoffs known as Survival Craft, Id say both those games are not any better than this amazing sandbox game! First off, since something is more magical if its less realistic, Minecraft is more fictional than Survival Craft, but Eden World Builder is the most fictional, making it most magical! Also, in both Minecraft and Survival Craft, you have a hotbar, but you have to hold down on a block to destroy it, which is obviously a small delay. But in Eden, just simply tap the pickaxe icon and tap on blocks, which makes it much easier when you misplace a block. Even if you cant fly in this game, if you play enough like we did, you can memorize where all blocks in your inventory are so that you can rapidly open block selector and switch between blocks in less than a second, theres not that many blocks in your inventory, which is good because you dont have to waste time looking for a specific item like in Minecraft or Survival Craft. Literally, Eden world builder has such easy building mechanics that allow you to build really fast! Survival craft is 7/10, Minecraft is 8/10, but Eden – World builder is 10/10! And hopefully Eden: New Dawn gets more updates soon! :).

This is truly a one of a kind game at the time and it still is to this day. Nothing more, nothing less.
This game is sooooo coool because it is easy to play and fun but the game needs upgrades on things like we wish you could craft in it but you cant its different from Minecraft so its good but it need more things.
We remember when it first came out, the feature of jumping to other peoples grand works was so amazing, so much creativity.

Its crashing just starting today on all our different iPads. Im wondering if maybe the world Ive created has reached the point of maximum complexity? Its called Orions Waterworld.
When we first saw this game, we were worried it would be a copy of another well known block game. To our surprise, it is almost nothing like the other block games. Its unique variety of creatures and items you can place make it very fun to mess around with. Another cool feature is that you can color a block or creature any color you choose, and enough of the same color on the ground will change the color of the sky. Overall, youll have a fun time if you and some friends decide to pick this game up.
We really would love for this to be updated especially since this we first got this game about 5 years ago & we have loved it ever since then but the only problem is that it always crashes cuz we recently upgraded to the latest iPad Pro & the app always crashes but we have seen online that they are working on an update but its been like 2 years we feel like plz plz plz plz update.

Such a shame Apple keeps destroying beautiful apps like eden with ridiculous updates that require the developers to constantly update their apps. Eden was an incredible world builder. It works fine in ios 14.2. After updating to iOS 14.3, the game breaks. The current version of eden available in the App Store is basically unusable now in iOS 14.3. You would think a minor 0.1 upgrade would absolutely corrupt and disable fine and completely harmless apps like eden world builder. Settings are inaccessible. Screen icons are overlapping and its basically a disaster to use. Our guess is that eden 2.1 code wasnt approved in iOS 14.3, so it half reverted to version 1.0 as a backup. This corrupted the game for many users. Take note: the in iOS 14.3, the level load screen background is the first version background. In 14.2, eden worked ok. Note to all eden fans like us. Do not update to iOS 14.3 if you enjoy this game. IOS 14.3 will destroy it. And a note to Apple, and anyone who uses iOS devices and cares about the existing apps to continue working on them. Do not update your iOS version if all of your apps work fine. Updating iOS destroyed eden for us. We wish we never updated our iOS. We will never trust Apples updates again.
We played this we were 7.. It was good, we liked it.
This game is fun but we just wish they but more stuff in it railroad tracks and more stuff we wanted.
This is really the best game we've played since 2018. We love it so much! We built a world in it called Creative World, and it shows how much we've evolved in our building skills. Please just change a few things, for example, the ability to paint only the side of blocks, and not the whole thing. Also make the light coming from the lamps not go through walls! Other than that, this app is literally the best! We can't find anything bad about it! (Except sometimes it crashes when we create a new world and it loads a dark green forest and we jump around in the lake.).
We have played this game since the iPhone 4s, and it was one of the more interesting games for creative building.The best feature was downloading worlds created by other people, and exploring others imagination.
Its hard to play because the game was meant for smaller phones also, we would like to see more blocks.

Ive been playing this game since we were a little kid. We love looking through houses that other people have built and seeing how creative people can be. This is and will always be our favorite game to play. So thank u to whoever put out Eden, we literally love u so much.

The game is so much fun. We honestly like it more than Minecraft. However it needs updates. Add to it. Add weapons. Add furniture.
Our sister showed us this game and the first second we played it was soooooooooo much fun we played for like 3 hours and it went by soooooooooo fast.
We have played this game since it was even made as we watched it grow, but one day you some how left it. We hope you revive this game, just please add new blocks and physics to the game please.
