This is the greatest game that we have ever played. The undo button makes the gameplay easier, along with a finetuned difficulty that is very good. Also, the computer is very good for players that are improving their checkers skills like us. We would truly rate this app 5 stars. It is ideal wherever we go so that we can relax our mind.
We play this game so l can beet our dad at checkers and because its fun.
We guess Im just not very good, but Ive never won a game with this app. Maybe it should have different level settings. Deleting. Life is hard enough without losing Checkers games.
Other player never has to move. Game Center constantly logs you out and games disappear midway through. Really a poor excuse for an app. Players frequently quit, and theres a hack where if youre winning, and your opponent asks for a draw, and you click on no to the requested draw, your chips become your opponents and vice-versa, and you are now the losing player. Its like this app maker knows nothing about checkers whatsoever. Microsoft games for checkers was the best to play against other good players, but sadly, Microsoft shut them down last year. The search for a worthy app continues.
This game is awesome we love it we have won so many times so make sure to get this game.
This new update is not pleasing to the eyes.
We purchased this app like omg 2008 and it has been the best app in the world now there are new graphics.
We love this game! Clean with no extras! We have three issues. It wont keep score. Rematches with online friends put you in a weird loop. Maybe get rid of the pop up confirmation after each move? Other than that its perfect!! Make the changes!! We need this game in quarantine.
This is a horrible game. You have to play backwards. Your checkers are on the opposite side of board. Wish we had not bought it. No way to contact the seller.
The most recent update for this app displays even more cartoonish color schemes. It looks worse with every update.

We don not like the new piece on the checkerboard. For some reason they are not clear? The pieces look fuzzy and undefined. Can you make then look crisp? Sometimes, when the computer had two possible choices the game freezes and we have to set a new game from menu. Otherwise, we are always enjoying a game or two. John-Paul Martin.

We play checkers several times a week. We enjoy this game. However the new update changed the graphic to something horrible. Im looking for a new Checkers game. We want our old texture back.

Ive had it for probably five years. Maybe even more. On the hardest level its impossible for us to beat it. Frustrating but fun.

We love your checkers game but we cant get onto network play. How do we do that.
Dont like to answer yes to do a double jump.
We love the "undo" button that gives us another chance to make a different move. Also, there are enough levels of play to choose from so that each player can select the one wanted.
We have had a few checkers apps over the years. This one is by far the best !! Lots of settings choices…….works well.
Very good way to learn to play better. You can go back and see your mistakes or rather see what you didnt see.
This is a great and enjoyable game.
Ive been using the free app for years, and while it was annoying at times, it was a decent app for being one of the free options. We recently decided to splurge and pay the $2 for the upgraded version. What a fool we are. The add box still pops up and wants to take us to the upgrade option, which then takes us to the store and clearly shows we have already done so. There are no new features, nor does it run any smoother. Also, as other reviewers have stated, the Network play option is ridiculous. There is no time limit for moves, and when you do get matched with someone, half the time they take their turn, and then disappear. The computer play option works well enough, so just do yourself a favor and keep your $2 and continue on your merry way with the free version.
The network play against others is garbage. Moves take forever, no timer or nobody is there. We wasted $ on this app, dont do the same.

One of the best computer generated checkers game that is hav payed. If you place the setting on the highest you can get a hell of a game. We don't beat this setting too often, but when we do, it Feels great.

At the advanced level this program will triple jump you all over the place and make you see how good you are not. At the middle level it will give a good player a good game. For some reason though it doesn't know how to finish the opponent when it has two Kings compare to your one. Something we and other programs can do easily.but don't worry at the advanced level you'll be dead long before that ; ).
Lots of personality…for a checkers game. After a few thousand rounds you'll begin to understand what's meant by that. Good company in deep nights. Don't care for having to diddle with a dialogue when making a double, and newer apps do away with this. If implemented, highlighting the route through multiple jumps and allowing these to be completed with minimal finger movements/dialogues would simplify play. This is a great, stable app for passing the time while giving your brain a light workout.
We love the no ads part. We play strictly against the computer and the computer moves are unpredictable. Very enjoyable.
We like this game. We do wish, however, that this game did not ask you each time if you wanted to double jump. We also wish that there was a teaching mode to help and guide you toward improving your skills.
It is a bit annoying to be asked each time if we want to start a new or saved game when there is no saved game, and to have to answer yes in a pop up if we want to do a double jump. But it does loose gracefully.
Great way to kill time without having to think about it.
Plays better checkers than other apps but is very limited by making same opening moves always. Can't someone put out an Apple app that is comparable to many pc programs in AI strength and utility.
Too many crashes, but still entertaining.
Purchased this so that we can play against our daughter. If you download onto a device with a new iOS, there is no Game Center anymore. You try to invite friends and it tells you to do it through Game Center but Apple removed it and there is no longer a way for us to invite our daughter to play. Works fine if you want to play the computer.
Used the free version which was easy to see with red & white checkers. Bought the premium version to get the "undo" feature. But the checkers are too big & dark. Ugly.
The app keeps saying it is "unable to match right now". We cannot play. This had been going on for two weeks. We like playing checkers. It would be nice if we could block certain players from playing with us. Some just start a game and then never play again or they just end it after one or two moves. It is the same players. Napoleonbambo just started 21 games with us then ended right away. This is a waste if our time. We want to block this one.
No timer!! Players can drag out a game indefinitely.
With infinite levels of skill adjustment this program is quick and loads of fun to play.
Take off your cheating devices and accept losses as they come.
Very nice, good background music. Easy to understand. The only thing we would change are the colors there hard for us to see. But otherwise very nice game, thank you.
Simple and challenging. When we're stressed out, we use it to relax. It works everytime.
