Wanted to play this game so much as a kid , didnt know how to buy this. Now that we grew up,mature enough to know how to buy, finally bought this to heal our inner child . Still a great game ! Nostalgic.
Its fun. Well built. And pretty challenging! Ive had it installed on our iPhone since the 3G in 2008. Still play it.
Used to be on the chiles pads but got removed, been playing since we were a kid. Love it every time.

Childhood game growing up and is honestly amazing and challenging.
This one of the most entertaining games we ever play, we really recommending this game if you want to spend some time chilling and playing.
Some games are too good to let go, even if they havent been updated in 5years, this is such a simple amazing piece, we sometimes delete it, just too start again or stop spending time.
At least bring it up to retina standards for the next iPhone release and maybe move to Apple ArcadeThis game is among some of the most addictive games on iOS EVERits a shame that it has been sorely neglectedstill 5 STARS even without being updated in years.

Fun but sometime it gets hard and you think they are dead but the are not but still vary fun.

Great game but it just needs an update.
We really enjoy this game every time we go into it we go into the first map pause it and start thinking.and soon Im on the tanks and the tanks are the only the second hardest one but the big robots are OP/meaning over powered.but normally there is only 2of them and then it starts over!! Ive only made it to the end twice.

Great to see it works still we remember when it first came out. Our friends and we used to play on our iPods and iPhones who had them at the time lol.
We had played this game on our iPod Touch when it was still new, and its exactly the same, we love it.
One thing we do not like is that you have to buy some maps maybe you can unlock them by playing a lot.
Reminds us of of the tower defense custom games of Warcraft 3. Exactly what we were looking for. Hoping for more games like this.
This was one of the first games that we loved on iOS. Its exciting that it still works. This version was superior to the sequels IMO.
We recently re-downloaded this to our new iPhone 11. We remember playing this when it first came out years ago on one of our older phones. So glad to see the game still works even though it has not been updated in three years or so. We hope the developer sees all these recent comments and reviews, and realizes that people are still playing this great little gem of a game and therefore will give it some attention that it deserves. As others have noted, scores are no longer saved and things like that. Not a big deal as long as the gameplay remains solid and non-buggy. But an update would be nice.

One of the better mobile games out there. Simple. Addicting. Challenging. Unique. Worth the price especially since its easy to sink hours into perfecting an unbeatable strategy.

An oldie but a goodie. We didnt discover the 2nd Fieldrunners until last year and have been playing them both now.

Like the game its way better than Fieldrunners2 we just like Fieldrunners way better.
Love this game on Ps3 and also have been playing on our iPhone XS max, have not ran into any problems, been smooth running so far.

Had the game for nearly 10 years, still best app we have ever played.
Ive played Fieldrunners2 for along time so we wanted to try the original game but half of the levels cost money whyyyyyyyyu.
This has always been a Classic. Without an update in three years, Im afraid Subatomic has lost all interest in supporting it. Scores no longer save and exiting the game is now quirky.
We love the game but pls update the responsive on the bigger screen, can not move the stuff around the screen edges and the corners.
Love the original Fieldrunners game! Want more MAPS!!! Dont like the suggestion that App Store recommends. Dont need or want the stories that you have to do to get to the action.
