THE BOARD GAME

Street Masters is a 1-4 player cooperative miniatures board game inspired by classic fighting video games. Featuring over 65 highly detailed miniatures, unique decks for fighters & enemies, custom dice, and lightning-fast gameplay, Street Masters lets players match up powerful fighters against villainous organizations in a wide array of exciting scenarios. Designed by Adam Sadler and Brady Sadler, the game offers modular and elegant gameplay set in a unique and exciting world of brutal combat.

THE STORY

Warriors from around the world, known for their legendary fighting abilities and skills, receive mysterious invitations to participate in a martial arts tournament. During the tournament, the organization surrounding it reveals their true identity — The Kingdom — and their purpose to recruit fighters to join their militia or enslave those against them. While several of these warriors made it out in time, many were never heard from again.

Five years later, a government project called "Street Masters" initiates in order to counter-act the war against The Kingdom, now having divided and seized control over the world by several of its factions. Those who join the Street Masters project must work together to take down each faction, crippling parts of The Kingdom before they're able to launch their end game.

This Board game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

This is our first foray into blacklist games and we were not disappointed although it took us a while to get the gist of how to play properly. Word of advice: pick Natalia or Ying-hua as youre learning. Theyre much more forgiving and both have awesome knockout moves that the other fighters dont have. We hope blacklist games continues developing this line further although Id love to play any of their other board game iOS adaptations.

We are a big fan of the Street Masters board game, so seeing it make a successful transition to a portable format warms our heart. Tested it out (after playing 50 + games with the board game version). The only thing missing is the setup time.

Thanks for taking quick action to fix the lock bug. Great app.

Played the tutorial, now everything but the training missions are locked, every character, every stage, every boss. Tried reinstalling the app and still nothing. Game looked fun in the tutorial, and we will happily change our review once someone makes it actually playable for us.

We have the board game. This a great adaptation. They even included story mode…what else do you want.

We do not own the board game but knew about this game. This game is impressive but be prepared to put some time into it (like any good board game) to learn the ropes. The tutorial is fine, but read the rulebook and watch some YouTube videos to get up to speed. The game has a nice flow and is easy to grasp, but there is still a great deal to learn. Love the card art and the various fighters. They each play differently which enhances replayability. We have beaten the 1st stage and boss but nothing else. Lol. Still learning the cards and strategy. We would definitely recommend this game if you enjoy strategy games or solo board games. It has a lot to offer for the price.

This app is worth it. It feels just like the board game. Because its so fast and efficient, its a perfect way to test out fighters and strategies before breaking out the actual board game. We have all of the Street Masters board game content and extras, and we hope to see the app expanded as well. This an amazing companion to the base board game and a great on the go app for our phone. Well done.

We own the real board game, but now we can play it any time any where! Total win.

Looks great and it seems to be a faithful translation of the board game, but definitely has some bugs. When we use defense tokens to block damage, it doesnt convert them into Power tokens, it just discards them. If you pinch and zoom to maximize the gameboard, theres no way to minimize it again. You have to restart the game because your newly expanded board is now blocking half the cards. Hopefully a few patches can help sort things out, as there is definitely potential here.

Our only gripe as a newcomer. Never having played this game until now The threat area?? The current implementation is confusing. The empty space, around your character is the threat area. Took us AWHILE to grasp this concept, because its just empty space by your character card. We feel it would be better if some kind of visual existed making us aware, the cards we put down, go into this invisible threat area. Maybe transparent words with truncated horizontal lines like this: -threat area- From a UI design perspective, If its semi-transparent, it will not produce visual noise, avoiding visual clutter. That said, this is a FANTASTIC game. Im loving it! We HIGHLY appreciate all the modes – so much diversity and honing of skills: Story Arcade Tutorial Practice.
