Community Insight:
Thanks for making this app! Ive been using it to play, and we love the fact that we can go through games quickly and try to strategize. Lets talk about the bad parts – there arent many. The biggest issue Ive found is that the point scoring system is wrong. We went through a few rounds and painstakingly retraced each hand, and then did a count at the end. The points arent adding up correctly. It would be really helpful to see the attackers final deck at the end of the round in a separate tab to be able to back check. Right now to check this, you need to play through the a round, look at the hands at the end of the round, distribute cards accordingly, and then replay the round. It takes forever. Additionally, the AI recommended moves and asides arent exactly clear. Id like to be able to understand why its recommending something better than the callouts its giving. Maybe there could be a separate tab which shows the AI instructions and logic that it will follow. Id like a callout for why a bit was recommended! But overall, the effort youve put into this is outstanding! Thank you so much for putting this on the App Store, as it has made getting people into the game so much easier.
Ive been looking for resources to help learn French Tarot (jeu de tarot) and this has been pretty helpful! Tried the free version first and got this one to be rid of the ads. Glad games like this are being somewhat preserved for outsiders who dont have a playing community. Cheers Ps. Would love if the rules section was even more accessible. Maybe a glossary or something? Its somewhat difficult to keep all the new concepts in our head at once so having a reference while reading rules would be super helpful! Same goes for being able to tap on elements of UI and have it explained. A great example of these sorts of tool tips is Slay the Spire, where all keywords are explained repeatedly next to cards when highlighted / status effects when highlighting yourself / enemies.
Game is well made. You get many features and great content for a free app. Previously, we said that the paid version had ads. To the developer, sorry we mistook this version for the paid version. We installed both at some point and couldnt tell the difference on the App Store and we thought this one was the paid version. Our apologies.
We dont have a lot to say about this game other than that as a tarot and tarocchi fan, its very well-done and a regular for leisure time on our iPad. The $4.99 paid version is absolutely worth it over the free version, but play the latter yourself a bit first so you can get a feel for what youre buying.
Very good game with good AI choices except for the following happening even in expert mode. – when the caller puts down the 21, the partner should always put down the petit if he has it, its the ambulance. It baffles us the number of times we have lost the petit recently. – when you play 5 people and call a king, the default should be for the partner called to put his king down the first time the color is played, not keep it to try to steal points in the future. Very frustrating to lose the called king over half the time. Thanks.
Game works well, our only complaint is the contrast background and names on the game. If it is bright in the room or outside, it is hard to see the players names.
This is the best app. Very addicting and the graphics are excellent. We play with our friends almost every weekend and no more dealing or keeping score. Just wish more people played online.
A really well done version of our favorite card game. The only down side is the lack of live players to play on line with but the AI and the game is great.
We enjoy this game greatly. The layout is clean, animations smooth, and gameplay quite fun. We previously thought scoring wasn't working in the 5 player game but we were wrong – it is working as intended. Good app and pleasant game.
Very addictive game…really feel like a real tarot game! "Computer" is a good player and it's interesting to play against it.
Good game.very close to real life game. There should be options to adapt the level of each player when playing solo. Overall very entertaining.
- Good app. – Needs a language option. It was in French, now it is only english with a bunch of translation mistakes! There needs to be an option.
The first Tarot game we have played on iPad. Solid all around. The only improvement we would suggest is a harder mode.
