We will be on the most annoying scum streak and they will place a 4 or something and we cant play a 4 or higherwtf.
In the rules of presidents, doubles of anything beat. There isnt even an option for this as a variation.
Everyone knows that 2s and red 3s are clear cards, but the game only uses 2s. We dont get why multiple clear cards are needed for doubles – thats crap. Also the game doesnt allow you to finish a set when there are three like cards down and you have the last one – this should allow you to clear the board to yourself. Part of the fun is being faster than the next card playing.
Mindless fun… Wish we could buy an ad blocker though… Too many, though they are only 5 seconds.
The game works great and is very fun! But… Why are you only allowed to have 4 players on an online game? The reason we got the game is to play with multiple families that live in different areas. Is there anyway to change this?
Its a really fun game… But youll randomly be on a role of being President & then like on the 5th game of you having the President streak, youll play your last card and there will still be people playing and it says your scum. Like. What???? No. If youre competitive like we am, that really annoyed the you know what out of us.
Please. Please give us the ability to sort the cards in our hands from low on the left to high on the right. We can literally customize everything else.
Fun app but its super buggy. Often it will fail To start the next hand after you view an ad.
When we send a link to our friends it doesnt work.
We think this is dumb because its nothing like in real life. So lets say you have a 6 and you dont have anything left but double 5s well you have to pass because some how you cant play with that!!
We wanted to play against our friends online and we all paid for the app. It kicks people off and freezes every time. We have never been able to complete a game. Dont waste your money. We want a refund.
We enjoyed this game when we were younger and its nice to find it on mobile. There are many customization options which provide different strategies and change the game.
2s should have an option of being low, Vice President should get 1 card from 2nd to last player. Turned on joker option but havent seen any.
How we play Skum is you cant put the same numbered card on top of each other! It doesnt make sense. There should be a joker mode in the setting too.
This version doesn’t allow for a ton of strategy. We’re aware there are numerous variants to every card game, but the version we grew up on allowed much more strategies than this. 1. 2s don’t clear the board, they do remain the highest. 2. The 5 of diamonds (and only this card) is a clear, this limits the board clearing to one card. 3. If a player lays a card, and the next player lays the same value card (ex. 7 and then another 7) the 3rd player in that line is skipped. 4. When all 4 cards of the same value are placed within the same rotation, the board is cleared. Couple examples, ex 1, if player 1 lays a 7, player 2 lays a 7, player 3 is now skipped, player 4 lays a 7, player 1 is now skipped, and if player 2 has the last 7, that player can clear the board with the 4th 7. This also works with doubles, if player 1 lays 2 7s and player 2 lays 2 7s that will clear the board. 5. The 3 of clubs always starts. These variations allow for much more strategy.
This game used to be a favorite of us and our friends. Now theres an unskipable ad every hand and the customer support is non existent. We payed for the premium version a while back, but when we re-downloaded the game it keeps asking us to pay again. We didnt think this would be a problem at all… BUT… THERES NO RESTORE IN-APP PURCHASES OPTION ON THE ENTIRE APP. We contacted the developers a week ago and still havent gotten a response back. Dont waste any time or money on this game.
It wont let us select multiple cards. Not sure what Im doing wrong. Frustrating!
In an actual game As are allowed to beat 2s and 2s cant beat other 2s, As cant beat As, and once a player is out of cards the next person starts a next hand.
A few years ago, a friend from France taught us this game and we have been playing ever since. When we first discovered this app over a year ago it was missing a few rules that we were use to playing with but once you purchase the full version you can customize and enable every rule you can think of! Great app, great game, great developer.
Missing pass 3 cards left before every round variant and pass high cards from President to Scum and Vice President to Vice Scum (catch up) variant. Very close to good but not quite there. Rules are key in a game like this.
There are lots of good options to choice from but probably the most important is to play with only one deck which is not available. Requiring two decks changes the strategy significantly and makes the game less interesting to us.
There are many variations that we’ve never played, but able to custom most rules to our liking. -1 Star for: Play is not in rank order. There is a huge advantage to playing in rank order opportunities to ditch low cards or pump up the pot, even if you arent president (or king, as we call it). -1 Star for Ads, especially those that play loud. Make sure ads dont make noise or interrupt music playing. Also, keep it to 1 before, 1 after 5 rounds, and 1 at the end of game. 3 per game seems fair and sufficient. As for those who say a 2 should clear a pile, that takes most of the strategy out of the game. Play it the hard-core way. For those that say too many doubles or too hard to stay as president… Have you played thousands of games? If you are playing with optimal strategists, its hard to stay in the top position long. And we’ve Suggestions: 1. Continuous play mode keep playing, not limited to 10 rounds. 2. Also, would be nice to re-name players 3. We play first round is chosen by random card draw highest card goes first… Fun way to start the game.

All these reviews saying that this game isn’t good are probably old. This game is amazing and deserves more recognition. We play this hours non stop. Please continue to make updates like: Maybe new names for East, South, West, and North. Only make the players play one 2 card to clear on doubles. When you take cards, don’t take the top 2 cards. You should select the 2 cards you want by asking them: "Do you have any 2s? Do you have any As?" This could be helpful incase you want triples and take from somebody to get them. Thanks!
The difficulty level is annoying you can tell to make it more difficult the AI just plays anything it needs to beat you.
Play this game almost daily for the past year, the ads are becoming more frequent and annoying and it’s frustrating. Some of the ads have audio, which switches off the music/podcast we’re listening to so we have to exit the app to turn it back on which is not ideal. Please get rid of this style of ad so we can continue playing without interruption.
This game as cheating glitches. It keeps skipping over us when we can play something and also when another player ends on a 2 they don’t get scum. We’re the only one who gets scum! (I set the setting to that.) Thank you!
The app is fun. The different intelligence level helps but has room for improvement. The strong level sometimes come up with very silly moves. The biggest problem with this app is the stability. It keeps dying and the game keeps shutdown in the middle of the game! Terrible!

We could just be playing differently but when we play 4 of a kind clears the table kinda like a 2 also when you put a card on-top of another card with the same number it skips the person next to you, but other than that it’s the best rendition we’ve seen of presidents.
Other than the continuous ads after each game, the game is good and sometimes challenging. We play it in airplane mode to avoid ads and it works fine.
We play the game a bit different, and while there are many options to customize the game (all we’ve never heard of), there are a few things that bug us. We wish the players would rotate around the table consecutively with their rank. When we’re Vice President we expect to go 2nd after the president when a round starts. Scum should always play last. Instead players keep their positions at the table and president always goes first with the player on the left following. We also wish we could arrange our cards how we wanted. We hate playing backwards with high cards in the left. And since when are 2s the highest value? We got used to that though. It’s still fun to play Scum on the go though.
For two days we have tried to connect and play with our friends it will not even show up there is a game available, it is not from the wifi we are in the same room with same wifi blue tooth is on and non of us have played a multiplayer game that day.
Online play doesn’t work anymore. We love playing this game with our family but we keep having connection issues and the game keeps dropping or we can’t connect.
We don’t ever remember being so thoroughly content with an app. Layout, gameplay, rule options, everything is terrific. Simulated hands play solid strategy but can be beaten. Stable with no bugs, unobtrusive ads. This is a great, great app.

We’re an addict. We like all the different versions they have available you can select from (play with jokers or without, 4 of a kind reverses low-high cards, etc.) Only "complaint" (it’s more just preference based) is that I’d like to be able to change our title, instead of always being "South."

Completely awful. Do not waste your time. There is so many flaws in this game we can’t even begin.
Cant complain about whats here. The touchscreen controls are very nice, the visual aesthetic is simple but crisp, computer opponents provide us enough of a challenge to keep our interest, and the game itself is what you expect out of Scum. And while there are a fair number of ads, theyre shorter and less intrusive than you see in most free-to-play. There are a few rule customization options, which is always nice, although there are two more that are needed: 1. The option to use two decks of cards. 2. The ability to change everyones seating location based on the order everyone went out in the prior hand. The latter especially throws us for a loop when Im vice president and West is President and Im like, Wait, why am we going 4th? Maybe thats a much more localized rule than we would have anticipated, but seat order and its relation to how a hand plays out feels very important to us. Other than those two things, no complaints.
No x to click and the cancel button takes you to a webpage in Vietnamese. Add was also Vietnamese. Be careful! Game itself is fun!

This app was a one time purchase, no ads game. Until they updated it with ads. We played this game for years. Its frustrating.

We’re a card player and have played every game in the world…. Or so we thought! But we had never heard of President. We love it. It’s a cute little game that’s easy and fast to play and it’s amazing how much you want to be the Pres!! We find myself getting so excited when we’re the Pres and how disappointed we are if we’re SCUM!
Updated: While the crashing was getting worse to the point we were about to delete this app, an update came out and seem to have fixed it. We have yet had a crash since. For this, you gained back a star! Pros: – It’s free. – This is actually built pretty good. – The many, many game rules/options that are included! Cons: – It’s free by advertisement… But they have to make money some how, right? However, the advertisements can be very annoying how they pop up sometimes. – Could very much use some sound effects. – we couldn’t find an option to allow "Run of 3’s" (e.g. 6, 7, 8 ). This was a rule that loved playing with while playing the Nintendo DS game "Club House Games". Only a higher "run of three" of any single suite can beat it (e.g. K, A, 2 will beat 6, 7, 8). If it’s already in somewhere, our mistake, but we can’t find it anywhere.
