Huge Fallout 1 & 2 fan and this game is giving similar vibes! Very fun and challenging. Sometimes we want to use cheats to give us better stats but the ios version doesnt seem to support cheats. Please add the command line cheats feature.
Dont get us wrong we love the way this game works and its great to have an old style fallout game on our phone we wish they did fall out one and two like this. Our problems or simply this the controls are a little too Clunky and we wish that the loud you to use your phone to read the text at least because Im dyslexic and we have a hard time reading but the game controls everything seem fine its just very little tweaks us to be done to make this game awesome.
No console commands or save game export-import of the full versions, while the micro font size makes the game almost unplayable on iPhone.

This is exactly what we were looking for!!! If you want a true classical RPG that really lets you role play the character without shoving adds and auto play in your face then this is the game for you!!! Beautifully made game with a lot of playback value. We know personally we will be designing multiple characters to play this game to its full potential. What you say and do in the game really effects the full aspects of the play through as well! Highly recommend this as a top must have game for an fan of Fallout or old school RPG fan.
Its challenging in all the wrong ways. Progress at the start is slow and grueling. It needs a quick select menu to make using items easier. Getting the needed equipment to survive, while also trying to stay fed and healthy seems like an impossible task. Im gonna press on, but Im not sure if Im really enjoying the game a lot.
We got fallout new Vegas vibes but with old school fallout gaming tactics in it. Game is truly a blessing for mobile gamers and hoping to see this game evolve more. We saw a DLC which we might get in the future depending on how much we enjoy the game. Gameplay is very nice havent experienced any usuals using a iPhone 12 at the moment to play the game havent even completed our first play through but the journey so far is epic truly a great experience for gamers for want a a great 2024 fallout vibe for your phone. Please update it more if yinz can love the game definitely can fit into the future more if more people knew about this masterpiece! ATOMRPG.
We can't find the game files…. We've downloaded DLC, but how do we import them, we don't understand.
Game would be a lot of fun if the controls were consistent and didnt break constantly. At bunker 317 and we can no longer tap on anything. Using a controller attached is even worse.
Reminds us of the game Encased a little too much..Confusing plot, Skills are not well balanced vs the enemy even on the easy lvl. We had maxed out ability scores and did minimal damage to enemies that seemed common joes. Armor was a joke, had the best armor and would take high damage from bandits with hand held weapons, ammo was astronomically expensive and virtually non existent but the enemy had plenty off it to hit us with…All told just not a satisfying/intuitive game to play, more frustrating than anything.
Very well done. If you are a fan of 3rd person isometric crpgs if you loved Fallout 1/2 or the Baldurs Gate games, you need to buy and complete this game asap.
Allot of this game is reminiscent of fallout. Even the hard to survive at the beginning. Its awesome if you liked those old games which is us. We just wish they would keep expanding the game. We really do think you guys have done an excellent job.

Regarding the greedy micro transactioning us to companies. You guys say: We need to support devs that dont subscribe to those greed tactics. Well here is that dev, that you talk about: hard working, buy once (no micro transactions) keeps updating the game for free meaning they did those updates out of their own time, while supporting their family, bills.. Using this on an iPhone 13, will request a refund. Game constantly crashes within 5-10mins of play to where you cant move and must restart it.
From time to time the screen will stop to react to touch control, and we are forced to use joystick then, which is very very uncomfortable. PLEASE FIX THID BUG.
The story and atmosphere is pretty good and a great throwback to the old Fallout games. The gameplay is nothing like those classics though. This game is terribly imbalanced. You can stumble onto a quest and get one shot to death. You can do about five hours of side quest to level up and start the main quest and still have a hard time with it. As someone that has been playing old CRPGs since the late 80s we can tell you these game were not like this. We could still put on Fallout and while lacking quality of life improvements still dont have balancing issues like this game. We really wanted to like this one. We put over thirty hours into it. If you can get over the imbalance you might enjoy it but we deleted it.

We recently purchased this game on our Sony account and fell in love. Atom RPG is a modern version of the classic computer RPGs that we grew up with through the 90s. Purchased the iOS ported game to support the developers of this adventure and play on the go. Definitely give this game a try if you enjoy the classic turn-based role playing games of yesterday.
Was desperately searching for a fallout style RPG, and this did not disappoint, difficulty is perfect, weapons and skills are balanced, barter system is balanced. Quests(with the exception of repeatables) arent repetitive. Tons of hours of gameplay. Progression is adequate. The amount of randomness based off skills make this game re-playable for a different experience. They advertise 60 hours of gameplay, and we believe they are selling themselves very short. Very impressed, deserves much more praise and downloads, also, no micro purchases!!! To the devs, please keep updating and Id gladly purchase a dlc. Invest in advertising so more people can learn of this great game.
This game is outstanding. We love it and we have been playing it for weeks. They took the original Fallout and the best parts of a number of other games, added crafting, which everyone loves, and created a game with a unique Soviet setting. Poor Dogmeat in the original Fallout was entirely too easy to kill, and they even fixed that. The pop culture references are too numerous to mention, but a few stand outs are the references to old songs, movies like the lord of the rings, and Call of Cthulhu. For that last star, please fix the following. Unless you give your character a Dex of 10, The game becomes unplayable. All creatures have 10 movement points, and if you have anything less than 10, you will find yourself starting the game over. We read a hint somewhere that if you reduce your Luck to one and bump your Dex to 10, it becomes much more playable. And it was true. We love all of the follower characters, and we dont know if there is a limit to how many of them can travel with you at once. But it is more playable with just you, the dog, and one other person. Please find a way to issue a group command to all of them at once. And please add the dialogue option of switching primary weapon so you dont have to fiddle with the inventory. And finally, there does not seem to be a way to unload a weapon without interacting with a container. We humbly request that you consider these improvements. Thanks for the awesome game and we look forward to future updates and installments.
Controller support was promised but now we have been abandoned.
Why did we purchase it if it doesnt.
There's LITERALLY characters quoting Mein Kampf. Also expect to see slurs against the mentally disabled. We didn't come across these parts until over 5 hours into the game, but by then we had already bought an in-app purchase. Disgusting. This isn't just "post apocolyptic lawlessness!"; this is seriously unacceptable.

An absolutely amazing and beautiful game that is truly the spiritual successor to the beloved Fallout 1 and 2 games of long ago. Not only is ATOM everything we hoped it would be, but it is also a delightful and full-flavored spin on the former USSR. As such, its true to everything that made Fallout 1 and 2 an amazing experience, while offering a fascinating romp through what one might imagine in a post-apocalyptic world set in the former Soviet Union. Additionally, not only is ATOM is packed with the kind of tongue-in-cheek humor so evident in the Fallout universe but it brings its own hilarious brand of laughs and bawdy entertainment. But humor isnt all ATOM offers, but it serves up some of the most poignant, emotionally charged and thought provoking situations as well. Like all really good RPGs, the writing in ATOM is simply superb and reminds one of the old BioWare masterpieces. You develop distinct relationshipsfriendships as well as genuine hatred for enemies that does much to really make the ATOM universe really come alive. There are a few unpolished spots here and there as well as a few minor typos and translation errors here and there, but they were never enough to put us off at all. Overall, ATOM is a masterpiece of an RPG that checks all the boxes for us. Its enormous, its deep, and its something you can really sink your teeth into. And on top of all that it was actually ported over to iOS in all its glory and beauty. We cant recommend it highly enough.
This is the second time we bought ATOM RPG. We play it on our Switch; we just bought this version to support the ATOM Team, because we love them. :) They poured their heart and soul into this game. Like seriously, if they were offered to remake Fallout 1 & 2, they'd succeed with flying colors. We can't play classic Fallout as of now, but this satisfies our classic Fallout cravings ten-fold. :).
Please keep improving keyboard and mouse functionality, it would be great to physically walk your character with AWSD keys as a possibility (maybe use arrow keys for camera in such case).
Tedious. Interaction with objects are annoying including the faded mini icons that appear suddenly. The turn based combat is slow and clunky making it less than enjoyable. Reminds one of Last Day on Earth with a strictly Russian slant: mining for resources, annoying how you have to run back-and-forth on the map that is slow and tedious. Graphics are good. Seems 2B an interesting world but have to admit: not worth $7.99. Regret purchasing. Reminiscent of Day R Survival. Perhaps trying to re-create that on a more elaborate scale? Appears to be an import that failed the mark. Perhaps others will enjoy, we did not. Update: 6/19. Developer released an update: only took 4+ times w/ strong wi-fi. One would be cautious of this developer.
Thank you for putting out such a fun and complete game!! Ive played so many rpgs and all the fallouts were always some of our favs! This does that play style justice but has its own unique atmosphere being in Russia! Im around level 23 and havent even come close to completing all the quests!! Thank you again for putting out a quality complete game that is a joy to play! This will forever be on our favorite list and we hope to see more from you all in the future.
We loved fallout 1 and this game is so close and even better than an IOS port of fallout because it is a new story. We are still not finished with it and we have spent a few dozen hours playing it. Please add the expansion soon so we can buy it.
This game is very fun we wish it had an online mode.
We love this game we have it on our PC along with the supporter pack. The game is full of lord of the rings references and its super fun and made in a fallout 4 style. Devs, if this game on mobile had controller support, we would give it 5 stars. Please make this addition so we can update our review! Love the game.
We bought the supporter pack though when we closed the game now it is telling us that we have to buy again is this going to be fixed.
We really want to like this game but it definitely tries its hardest to make us hate it. Traveling speed between locations is crazy slow which until you manage to get a car is what makes the game so tedious. The bigger issue is that the game has the nerve to have ambush events be practically unwinnable right from the beginning. Like Im armed with nothing but a broken bottle and the very first ambush event was 3 men sometimes with guns.
Tried several different passwords and the game will not allow us to register. Lame.
This game is really nice as far as controls. The story line is great. The game is very unbalanced, we see you would have to play many times with a new start to figure out the best and only options to survive as in fighting. The skills needed to even protect or fight off anything is not there. Finding items to craft are not there enough to help. The npcs do way to much damage to a noob char. Theres not near enough places to store items or any at all. Again, everything is so unbalanced. The quest line doesnt really lead your char properly through the game. Npcs are always so over powered no matter where you are. Any guns you get, they are worthless because of lack of skill balance. Devs… Its a gun man wth. Why do you need a skill for that? Rusty .9mm does X damage … 9mm does better damage… Sorry man, but this game needs to be redone its so terrible.
Im in the tutorial and the pick lock options dont come up when pressing on the door….help? Figured it out seem to be bugging at first and then it started working better.
We were enjoying the game and saving it everytime when we found a bug where it makes it unplayable, we just ended a fight with some bandits and they had bombs we picked the bombs up to sell them but as soon as we leave to the map we blow up, we managed to survive the explosion but now we cant talk to anyone at all, plz fix that we want to play the game again we dont want to restart.
We like this game but the 1.171.9 update resulted in our character not being able to talk to any NPCs. We cant sell our junk with store keepers or caravans because we cant initiate conversations with anyone. Im not radiated or poisoned. We tried old saved games and the problem persists so it looks like it has to be the latest update that caused the issue.
This game is worth every penny. Finally beat the game after 50+ hours. Its incredibly immersive, well-written, surprising, and funny. Growing up, Fallout 1 & 2 were our favorite computer games. If you liked them, youll LOVE this. Strong trading mechanics, dialogue options with real consequences, and turn-based combat which requires both strategic planning and taking calculated risks. This is not an easy game. You have to be smart. Of course, if you get stuck, there are answers online. You will not believe how much there is to discover in this game. Bravo, developers. Im a fan for life.

We never write reviews for games but this one deserves a 5. A few translation errors but well worth the money if you are into Fallout or post apocalyptic games in general.
Great game, it is as simple or as complex as you want. Easy , simple , and challenging turn based combat. Super personal RPG builds. Also , the dialogue is pretty funny. Wish we had found it in March.
Hats off to the devs for bringing an actual in depth RPG to mobile (something weve been needing for a long time). Its refreshing to be able to buy a game and enjoy it without any IAPs. Sure there are bugs but its clear the devs are responding to all reviews and identifying/fixing issues quickly with updates.
It repeatedly crashes on our iPad mini 4. Like every 10 minutes.
The game will not progress past the introductory cutscene without crashing. We have 12.4.7. The description says that it is compatible, but it clearly is not. That is extremely disappointing. We would like to have our money back. We have a iPad Air and iPhone 6plus. The App Store said Atom was compatible with both.
We love reading the journals of the dead in this game. A lot of the time, fantasy outclasses Sci Fi RPGs in terms of Lore and creating immersion. In the case of Atom RPG however – this is not the case. Just dont stuff scientists journals in your inventory- take a nice leisurely read and enjoy the fleshing out of backstory. Update – July 28, 2020: latest patch eliminates crashes for us – and we can even run on highest resolution on our 2 gb ram iPad. Nice work ! Our take on Atom RPG: Not since KOTOR and ShadowRun has there been such a fully realized Sci Fi RPG available on IOS. The Devs have created a very atmospheric post apocalyptic world that is full of interesting characters to interact with and many quests to undertake in strange locations. There had been some issues with crashes initially but the Devs moved fast to patch the game. We were able to fix 99% of all crashes early on by just reducing the graphics level / features. Even toned down, the game looked great and did nothing to hurt the immersion. Some folks had noted that the Companions are weak. This is true but this is very easy to fix: Tap on the version # in Settings 5 x press Continue Go to the rest menu press the back icon In the dialogue box type youshallnotpass (ignore error messages from commands) In the box, type addbattlexp # – advance up the companions according to your squad strategy You can also level up your main player character with AddXP # For folks that are not fond of the early scrimping / scraping element of survival games (like us) you can use the Hunger 0 command to reduce hunger or the additem command to get you going early on. The Devs generally discourage using such cheats but if you have difficulty (like us) with Fallout style games initially and need a boost use it to get going to the good content / plot. If youre a pro / veteran at such games, we are sure youll not need it. In either case, it is so refreshing to see a full fledged PC level game on IOS without scantily clad anime women selling players gems or featuring mindless pad mashing / tapping fests for combat. With Atom RPG – Put a little effort in and get major game play enjoyment as a reward. Please support such Devs that defy the mindless, cartoonish marketing of common mobile offerings .and help promote more releases of this type in the future.
The latest update fixed most performance issues. Game still shuts down sometimes, but it is fun. Worthy of fives stars.
This is a game to watch. It deserves a better star rating than it has currently. Is it perfect yet? Nope. Does it need some rebalancing? Yup. Regardless, this is a very well put together fallout style game, reminiscent of fallout 1 and 2. For those who have been waiting for someone to just get it together and port those games to iPhone, this is your fix. The gameplay is similar with turn based combat, but it has its own skill trees, weapons, armor, and story line. It works well on iPhone. Stability improvements have been frequently released. Hopefully the developer will continue to develop this gem. Im hopeful that some of the issues of aspects not working as intended will be addressed in updates- for example it doesnt seem that some perks work at all (eagle eye which is supposed to give a plus 50% to critical chance with scopes weapons doesnt seem to work with our SKS with optical sights). Some fixes to have the game plays as intended, and even added content, perhaps DLC, and rebalancing of some aspects has the potential to make this one of the best games out there for iPhone. Fingers crossed the developer(s) stay engaged with this mobile version.
This game seems pretty well made, except for the constant crashing that renders it nearly unplayable. We suppose if you save every minute or so and are patient enough not to mind the somewhat lengthy load times this game would be great, but otherwise dont bother until the devs do something to address the crashing issue. Edit: with the latest update, this game crashes much less often. Give it a try.
