Community Insight:
There needs to be new side stories related to James and his family and there needs to be like actual gameplay not just runs. Like we want to be able to look around and explore our environment this game needs to become more complex and realistic. This is more suggestion than it is a review, but you guys need to add a mode where you have infinite health and ammo and the environment needs to actually change not just repeat and auto generate the same environment.
We love the time and effort put in this game and the fact that you dont HAVE to spend money in game. (Yes, you can for quicker progress but without you can still get 99% of the same stuff, without it taking too long).
Need to be able to slow down or speed up your guy one in battle.
This is a great game, its a challenge and has a great story. There is currently a bug right now, we were playing the daily and a zombie lying on the floor and wasnt getting up. We walked over it and it randomly was able to kill us. We tried it again thinking that it was a glitch. NOPE, it happened again, and again, and again. Pik pok please fix this because Im mission out on daily challenge loot because of this.
The games really great with a nice campaign and side stories but the dailys the have you get to a certain ft are hard when cramped and you dont chose the guns so you could get a bow in a crowed place and die.
The killing is fun, easy controls, great campaign, but the strafing is a little slow.
Its fun but hard and pay to win.
Sweet game, we paid a dollar to remove adds and double our loot, it removed adds but we didnt get the doubled loot for that mission.
This is a fun game just like its predecessor, but the constant ads and micro transactions unfortunately detract from it. Would love to see an into the dead+ on Apple Arcade.
This game is good its fun and has a long story over the levels but we uninstalled the game and lost all our progress and its kinda play to win and has a bit of micro transactions.
This game is really good, but there are bugs, like sometimes zombies would spawn right next to us somehow? Now before you say it was our fault, let us say, they spawn right next to our side like one centimeter away from us and than just kills us, its like something invisible killed us, so now Im just wasting stamina for story mode because of this bug, and now 500 zombies spawn right in front of us when Im 200ft away during story mode, nice job devs.
This game is fun, but we really wish it was available on tv like the original game which is why we play it more than this one.
Honestly one of the best and most unique zombie games we have played on mobile. Would highly recommend to any zombies fan. We only have three minor suggestions for improvement. First, we noticed that our dog companion ran directly through tree stumps on forest maps multiple times as if they were illusions, but our character stumbled on them. Second, we observed a serious bug that occurred multiple times with the scene of being devoured by the dead: nearby zombies grouped together and began twitching and grasping at thin air even though it was obvious that they wanted to join the feast. Our last suggestion involves the naming of the weapons. The fact that multiple iconic firearms such as the Glock 17, AK-47/AKM, M16, M4, Colt 1911, M1 Garand, Dragunuv SVD, Uzi SMG, and others were deliberately misnamed was very disappointing. We understand originality and copyrights, but there are countless other games that properly name weapons without licenses, and the attempt to be original backfires imo. It is instead a letdown to see iconic, well-known, and famous guns be disrespected. Otherwise, the game is great and it would be awesome to see more like it.
Gameplay is super fun. Very emotional storyline. Someone with a very creative mind that could rival James Patterson obviously wrote this story. But there are a BUNCH of ads. Play a mission, come back into the main screen to collect rewards – bam. 60 second ad. To collect the daily rewards? These ads are optional, but 1-3 minute long ads are insane. And to make it worse, if it is a 10-30 second ad, it will loop. So you are sitting there for a minute – 3 minutes, watching one ad on repeat. We cant complain honestly, as annoying as that is. We only watch the ads when we are otherwise occupied. Brushing our teeth, reading a book, playing other video games. Watch the ads for the daily item rewards. Very greedy company, and to ask us to vote their next game as the Most Anticipated Mobile Game or whatever, its quite greedy. Devs need a morality check. But Ill be damned if the story isnt creative and the rewards arent worth it. Lots of other genuine problems with the game, Ive been playing for a couple weeks now and discovered plenty. The notifications SPAM YOU. For one notification object, if sends about 15-30 notification messages. Also, game consistently refuses to shoot the zombie directly in front of you. Like yeah, we want you to shoot the zbie 30 feet in front of us, not the zombie that has its arms in our mouth. The VIP membership price should be lowered to $7.99 USD, and VIPs should be given 1 free box of Supplies, 1 free box of Weapons, and 1 free box of Companions. And then, the option to watch an ad for the box should be available. It is a good game, we would suggest downloading it if you have free time. But there are problems we have not even said here that we would suggest fixing. The supply of silver, for instance? It feels way too difficult to get the games main currency.

Us and our 13 year old girlfriend love these games! As someone whos been playing games for over 30 years this is the best mobile game we have EVER played.
This game is fun because it has story and some cool guns and events you will have to kill lots of zombies and have a dog that you find.
We have been playing this game for a long time and it is still fun and they have added a lot of stuff ever since we last played it and it also has ghostbusters which makes it even better so we recommend you try this game.
We love zombie theme and being able to play like this brings so much fun, and then additional stories just add realism.
They should give you more options on what guns you can use and make the game for fun, not make half the things vip. You guys be greedy.
ManI started with into the dead. So been around this game for a minute. Gave it a break. Came back and Part 2 was out. Love this way more. Our only issue is when coming down hill the larger guns, when reloading are in the way, when running down slope. Lose often due to this especially the further you go into the game. Other than that we hope you eventually have a part 3 with a deeper involvement with vehicles or something dealing with water in a larger scale.
We love the game but too many ads we cant even get into it.
It was a fun game in the beginning but the ads have gotten more frequent, intrusive, and annoying in the last few years. We completed everything, and maxed everything out a long time ago. Playing the game is now just stale tedious repetition. The infrequent new stories and content fail to pique our interest since the basic game mechanics are the same and offer very little challenge. Our advice is- If you cant stand the ads then install an ad blocker or app like DNScloak.. You wont get the extra ad generated rewards, but it lets you play without the interruptions. Hopefully you wont get bored, loose interest, and become a mindless zombie like us.
Ok game except for the fact that every two seconds and ad pops in our face, we understand its free to play but its just stupid now, we beat a short run, ad, we make progress in a community event, ad, we stay on the main screen for a minute, ad, ad, ad, ad, its way too many to be tolerable and the length of them is too long, plus on maps especially car ones you can stuck and punished simply because you decided to dodge zombies, how amazing that in the game where the entire point is to dodge zombies you get punished for dodging zombies with an insta kill you couldnt control because the developers thought it was a good idea to even let you get stuck on items in the first place in the game where you can only run straight and slightly strafe. We tired to like it but its terrible, dont get this game, it has a good concept but bad mechanics and riddled with ads every second.
Last 2 or 3 ads we just watched didnt give us the dice roll item. The first ad we watched before that was for a bow for 700ft but you havent given any bows in the past 4 months. Then we had another ad dice roll for infinite rifle ammo. This is typically 12 minutes long but it was over after 2 runs (under a few minutes).. We were ripped off and since then it stopped giving us anything after watching ads. Im going to stop watching dice roll ads if youre just going to keep ripping us off. Plus, send us some better stuff, we played once with a bunch of army guys, can we get that for a pet.
Extremely fun and realistic game. Love, how interactive it is and how detailed it is. 10 out of 10 would recommend Probably one of the best zombie games. Ive played for handheld, mobile device.
We started playing into the dead while doing home schooling and was having a break we love the game and everything but pik pok wheres into the dead 3.
This game is very very entertaining barely any ads and no ads when playing the story or any other game mode its a very good game to past the time! And this game details are pretty nice overall and the guns are sick! 5 stars definitely.

This game is fantastic, there are things you can buy but this game is fun and easy to make progress in without those things, if we had literally any complaint it would be the stamina for story mode.

As someone who has been a consistently player for about 2-3 years, we love this game. Very F2P friendly. Here are some suggestions for new content: -Add a M1897 Winchester Pump Action Shotgun. Make it be able to be slam-fired. Add a skin called the Firestorm which adds incendiary ammo. -Add a M1928 Thompson with a drum mag. Add a skin called the Typewriter and make it have more crate ammo. -Add in the FAL battle rifle with full auto piercing mode. Add a skin based on the Rhodesian variant of the gun titled the Rhodesian and make it have more starting ammo.
Ive played this game for over 2 years and we found it fun but with one problem its a very pay to win game there is advertisements for new guns or in game currency at every corner but overall a fun game.
This game is a very nice game and we highly recommend it. You get to run around shoot zombies all of that outside of that you can do daily missions and get gold + silver all.
DO NOT GET THIS GAME! 1: There are micro transactions EVERYWHERE and sometimes theyll want you to pay $1 JUST FOR A SECOND CHANCE IF YOU DIE! 2: There is NO OTHER MUSIC besides the main menu theme and this repeat note that plays during gameplay, its so non-immersive, give us some beat drops or some intensity, not just the same depressing note! 3: Why dont the companions who are SUPPOSED TO HELP get the nearest Zombie automatically? We died 5 times because the dog kept running in front of us and leaving us to die! We would not recommend this game, if anything, get the first one, thats so much better.

We love both into the dead 1 and 2 but obviously 2 is better but Im curious if theirs a way to add zombie skins like the first game. We feel like yall could add that and the gameplay would be even more fun. Like sure the zombies have a couple different looks already but their was a ww2 and football zombie skins on part 1 and we think on part two you should expand on that and add like clown zombies, maybe zombies in farmer clothing, or something like that. Im not really an idea person so Im sure yall could come up with something better but its just a suggestion.

Into the Dead 2 is an amazing zombie game that balances intense action with some of the most compelling side stories Ive ever seen in a mobile game. The side stories are rich, emotional, and deeply engaging, from heartbreaking sacrifices to moments of hope and connection, they really make the world feel alive. The weapons and gameplay feel great too, keeping the intensity high. That said, we think the main story could benefit from a little more cinematic focus. Right now, most of the story comes through short radio updates, and while it keeps the pace moving, it doesnt fully capture the depth and emotional weight that the side stories provide. Adding even a few cinematic beats or character moments could make the main storyline as engaging as the side content, without slowing down the action. Overall, the game does an incredible job of combining survival, action, and storytelling, and we hope future updates continue to expand the cinematic elements in the main campaign, while keeping the side stories just as rich and powerful as they are now.
The game at the moment isnt giving the 2x extra currency and gun parts. Ive missed out on like 100 extra gun parts cause it doesnt load. Can you fix that.
Amazing game but we agree it needs to be easier for sliver coins and maybe a bit for gold, also, more parts because Im on chapter 4 or 5 and it needs level 10 guns and we have max level of 4, which leads to death a lot, please make more parts accessible for players along with special event weapons, such as a mechanical suit or new riffles for non vip players, it would give more flavor and allow people to get new guns more easy.

We had to delete the game because of storage, so we thought our Game Center id would save our progress but it is gone, can you help.
We read five star because it is fun it actually what you play not it shows you what it is in the ad not what it wants you to think horror games do that in this game doesnt.
Its hard to find a good free game on the AppStore with its shovelware and idle or free downloadable asset slop games, but Into the dead actually seems to treat us like people and not like dollar signs apple needs to do something about all of this slop on their store and promoye genuinely better and well made games like this one more! But apple doesnt care about soul or effort no, all it cares about is money money money! But if we had to say? Id gladly spend money on this game cause then Id at least know its going to an indie studio and not some random corporation from china. 10/10. Keep at it, folks! We love it.
