Great game. Lots of fun, of course thr idea behind hangman is one guesses the word in 8 or 9 tries depending on how the gallows is make and how the man is made. Ive played hang man where the gallows is 3 wrong answers and the man is 5 wrong answers. This game seems to be the best of those worlds. Our strngth is we read a lot and have a fair idea how words are formed fron prefix & suffix which helps in guessing the right letters even when there is only one wrong guess left. We chose thr pro version because when we got to 100 games with a 60% win ratio, the game crashed and we had to begin again. We are hoping that that wont happen with the paid version.
This is entertaining for a wordiegreat for keeping your mind sharp.
By using the Hard (words) challenge we are reminded of, and sometimes learn, words that build up our vocabulary. Double your fun.
Itsa good game and the words are unique. We would give it a 4 and stars.
This game is awesome and hard, challenging and nice and only cost two dollars :D.
We generally love playing this game, online or off, but we hate when it adds a missed word while offline. We played the hard version and was up to 123 words without an error. We turned the app down and when we came back to the game several hours later, the score was 123 and 1; the game added a missed word after we had left the game. Very frustrating… We had hoped that would stop when we upped from free to pay version.

Only when we're off line does Hangman reuse words. Love this game.
We enjoy Hangman, it is mind stimulating which in today's world is needed and encouraging.
Suggest that if you solve in less than the allotted tries that the remaining tries should rollover. Also, show the winning word as well as the losing one.
Hangman pro makes us feel happy inside.
This is a good game that can be played off line too. We like that we can play against the game versus other persons. Our main frustrations are the vast number of three and four letter words with so few guesses allowed. In addition, there should be some special extra credit of some sort when the word is guessed with zero wrong guesses. We love not having advertisements.
Hangman is very well thought out and we don't like to play… Most of the time. The only thing that we would like to see changed is REDUCING the number of three or four letter words that have 10 to 15 possibilities… For example: bat, cat, eat, fat, hat, mat, oat, pat, rat, sat, tat, vat. We like to play to win and words like these hurt our win/loss ratio.
We enjoy the challenge and find it easy to use. We worry that the puzzles may repeat too frequently but so far have seen only a few repeats.
Maybe we are too stupid to figure it out but would like 2 player where computer picks the wordsmaybe there is a way for thatshould also have a 2 minute time clock.
On iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 13.3 this app crashes before it finishes opening. Else we would give 5-stars for the app and for being the premium version without ads.
Even at the medium level of difficulty, this game is a challenge. We hope it will improve our speed at scrabble too.

We have been enjoying this game since we were little (with a piece of paper and pencil). Now we're enjoying it on line. We really like it! It makes you think.
We've been a word maven all our life, and this is the first word app we haven't tired of. Our personal challenge is a 6 to 1 win/loss ratio at the Hard level. Difficult to maintain. This is a first-rate app.
Good game that could use a few adjustments like more of a selection of words, it tends to repeat a lil much but an overall great game. Reminds us of our childhood & it also keeps it recent.
This is abandonware. Optime has abandoned all of these games in favor of in-app-purchases. Apple is allowing developers to continue selling software that will absolutely slow your device.

Used to get over on this game in hard level. Not anymore it's kicking our butt. We don't know why we spent the best 5 years of our life in 3rd grade.
We like the categories and everything about it except the sound when you guess a correct word. Think we would prefer hearing chimes, but at least sound can be turned off. Also would prefer a few more guesses. How about adding feet and hands to give a few more turns? :).
We love words! If you are into expanding your vocabulary or already have an extensive one, then you will be able to appreciate this game. We have been playing for over a year and have YET to discover any repetition on word challenges. In fact you may find as you go along that the more you play the harder the game becomes! Awesome.
Really nicely designed game. Easy to get going – nice to be able to just play a few quick games when you have a few minutes. We do wish you could break in to play against someone without losing your records of wins and losses against the iPhone, iPad or iPod. Some unusual words – questionable as to whether they are words – some dictionaries agree! Would be nice to play it in landscape mode – especially if you have large hands and "older eyes",.

Our grandson and we play hangman every morning when we take him to school. His spelling has improved tremendously since we got it.
Fine app; SAT word list is challenging. Long start-up time and no way to save a "game" if one wants to change the way one is using the app temporarily. Otherwise, no complaints.
Our wife and we often go to our favorite restaurant and, while waiting for food, play hangman the old-fashioned wayon bar napkins. No, we can be modren and do it digitally! We just wish there was a way to play against remote opponents online like with Letterpress. That would be seriously cool! Notwithstanding, ILOVIT.

We agree with the person who said hard level is great. There are no repeats. Kinda like the national spelling bee with words you never heard of before and never want to hear of again! Love it.
The "hard" option is wonderful — both long and short words, almost all of which we have to think about to figure out. We've met our demise bough to keep the game entertaining.
