Advanced Search examples (Search Tab):
Use ? or [space] as a wildcard for one letter, and – as a wildcard for any number of letters.

Advanced Anagrams examples (Anagrams Tab):
(1) Use a ? or space as a blank letter

This used to be great to use with the game Words With Friends. But lately, when we try to find words thru this app, it recommends lots of words that are invalid in Words With Friends.
We liked this app a lot until a month or so ago when WWF apparently started allowing new words such as je & ja. This app did not keep pace & add these new words that now allowed by WWF. Another word allowed by WWF but not found as a valid word in this app is Bhuna. Can you update your list so you have all words allowed by WWF.
The app itself is good but we dont know why the app stopped working since a while ! Yet we paid for it Im not using the free version.
We used to rely heavily on this app and found it always reliable. But in recent months we are constantly antsy given word suggestions that Words With Friends wont accept. That NEVER used to happen.
We love this app but many of the words no longer work. We dont know if its the Last IOS 12.2 update or the App update. Even the new words added in App update doesnt work says it is not a word. This is very frustrating, Ive had the app a long time with no problems till now.
Except for all the time-consuming interruptions! Not sure its worth it.

App freezes have to reboot iPhone.
With latest iOS upgrade it stopped working (doesnt search beyond 3 letters) and they havent offered an upgrade to repair it yet. Its been almost a month. Limits number of wild [space bar] to 2, which makes sense for Words with Friends, but doesnt help with crosswords or other times we want to look up a word and have more than two letters that are unknown. Doesnt always have a definition for the word it supplies. If it knows its a valid word, how can it not know the definition.
Very frustrating. All we want to do is play our ongoing games. Will quit this App soon.
Previously when you looked up the definition of a word there was a link to the base form of the word. Now you have to perform a search for the new word sometimes going through multiple searches before you get to the definition. We used the old feature a lot to learn new words. The new version is very inconvenient and time consuming in comparison to the older version.
Learning new words adds value to the game and expands our vocabulary.
Its a lot of help when you want to look up the in spellings of words Duke.
A great help with scrabble game.
This really is a good app and useful but it needs some improvements. We wish it included pronunciation and a way to say words ending in ( up or u) in certain letters, we believe they are called hooks. Thanks Scuttlebut8.
We switched to the older version because it lacked the annoying bonuses and challenge matches. Now they put them here. Crap. Plus they keep resetting our preferences.

We love this app. Its easy to use and never crashes. We only gave it four stars and not five because nothings perfect but this app comes really close. If youre a scrabble or words with friends player its a must. Highly recommend it.
Word lists are sadly incomplete although helpful to a moderate degree.
It would be very helpful if this app accepted an … Argument to allow specifying letter sequences when searching for possible words. Otherwise a very nice app.

Love the things you can do with this. Use your imagination.. Ive been using this for years, and the only thing Id like is a few more words in the anagram finder. In the game, Whirly Word, for instance, they have more words than we can come up with many times. But it is a great way to learn. Also, we can only try for so long without getting too flustered. Even have friends help try. There used to be another app that did anagrams better. It quit.
Neat interface. We love the anagrams feature. The ability to turn on definitions is a good learning tool! Simple and serve the purpose.
Use this almost every time; it saves so much time. One request: wish it would provide 8 & 9-letter words when requested.
Im very pleased with the app! It works great and Ive actually learned new words and have been able to beat our favorite opponents score occasionally, but shes been playing a lot longer than us. Im so impressed with the app that we just upgraded to word find pro.
When we consider an app to purchase, we look at when it was last updated to see if the developer is actively keeping things going. Of course, if the app works without problems, why update it. Word Lookup Pro, as of today's date, has not been updated since 2015… But it works very well! We submitted a question to the developer and received a quick response. Question: Will Word Lookup Pro work in 64bit IOS 11 on an iPad Pro? Same day response: Yes, Word Lookup Pro is 64-bit compatible. As a result of the quick positive response we purchased the Pro version! Three things that we would still like to see in an app update: 1) The ability to search within an anagram for specific character combinations such as a T–T or A-E. 2) The ability to display the anagram in all caps like the Scrabble tiles. 3) The ability to reassign the point values to the letters and bonus' to match the point values on the tiles of the game we are playing. A wonderful app! We have now actually been able to occasionally score higher than our spouse when we are both using the app on our iPads playing Scrabble. Great app! We are now looking for an update to make it even better.
Better than any other word look up app out there. Easy to use, understand, very versitile and has definitions for words as well as useful sentences to help explain the use of the words. Two thumbs up! M.D.T.C.
