The game itself is fun, unfortunately there are way too many ads to the point we actually deleted it. Its one thing to have an ad between games or for boosts but after every guess, no thank you.
Theres so many ads its really annoying.
Honestly, we would really enjoy this game if it werent for the ridiculous amount of lengthy ads. We understand you want us to pay for them to be removed but we cant even play long enough to gain a connection to the game. Each minute that passes waiting for every single ad to stop reminds us that we have better things to do with our time.
Their ads cant be closed. All their ads have fake Xs ands real one never loads. Got to play it once for 10 seconds yesterday.
After paying for this game Im forded to sit through long annoying adds without an ability to exit them and intrusive prompts to download content we do not want.
This is not affiliated with actual Contexto and the daily answrs dont match up at all. We paid for the ad-less version and regret it.
This game will keep you up at night, make you late for deadlines and frustrate the heck out of you. We LOVE IT!!
Game is fun but unless you pay to get rid of the adds you can hardly play the game.
Interesting concept and for once not an easy gamebut a little sexist and biased. Ex the final word was Teacher and while dad was close context wisemom wasnt. There have been other situations like this where the context doesnt make any sense why one thing is rated higher than another.
Couldnt get through two games without being bombarded by at least 5 ads. Couldnt hold our attention, so had to delete. The game seemed fine we guess. Meh.
Way too many ads. We cant even play the game without an ad popping up. Every time we guess an answer, Ridiculous. We spent more time watching ads than we did actually playing.
Its a fun game and although its repetitive, it does keep your brain thinkin. Still, there are ads every 2-3 minutes and even when you wait the 5-10 seconds to skip it, it takes you to the ad page, where you have to wait another 5 seconds to exit out of the mobile game trial, just for it to push a third ad with a 5-second skip timer that is advertising the same application or website. So every 2-3 minutes, there is an ad thats 20-30 seconds even if you click the Xs as soon as they appear. This makes it annoying. Unless you are to disconnect from the internet and turn airplane mode on, this games main source of frustration is how many dumb Chicken Simulator advertisements that pop up.
We were more irritated with some of the associations more than we actually enjoyed this game. Great concept but we were left so confused that we deleted the game.
This game obviously doesn’t know what’s close to the word. Like we put thing and it was like 100, put home it was 10. The answer? Family. Like we’re sorry, family isn’t a thing, it’s people. A thing is an inanimate object. The next one. We put place, it was like 200. The answer? Video. Again, a video is not a place. It needs to stop ranking the incorrect words that are nowhere near the word as a "close word" when it’s not close whatsoever.
Unuseable. The ads are insane. Every 15 seconds you have to watch 3 long ads you cant skip through- literally. You dont even get to pick one word before more ads start. We watched 9 ads back to back and deleted the app.
Ads pop up every few seconds. Multiple ads at once. Some have audio. Some dont. Purposefully confusing close buttons in different spots. Its a fun game concept, but the ad frequency makes it unplayable.
We cant even play the game because there are so many ads.
Way too many ads. Like serious 1 every 5 guesses or so. & some of the words that are related to the word you try to guess dont make a lot of sense.
We had an issue where several words would not be considered close, such as electricity in a kitchen oil, water but warehouse is close? Closet was close? Location is NOT???? Closet was closer than food FURNITURE was closer than food FOR KITCHEN. Whatever system these people have for this game is terrible. Plus all the extra long ads that dont go away with the x button. If we could rate it lower we would.
This is the most interesting idea for a game in a long time. A groundbreaking use of AI. This is going to be the foundation for a completely new genre of games. We can see how people could nitpick the algorithm. For us, though, figuring out the details of the underlying model is the most fun part of gaming. One idea for anew feature would be a multiplayer option where you could create your own list of words that others can guess. (Implemented similar to a game like Orbit on the App Store.)
This game has had us in a chokehold for days in end trying to figure out a word! It really helps us distract myself for a while very neuro friendly.
Its not a great game in that most people(myself included) expect to have the rules/mechanics of a game given to them when they start it. But there is a little bit of fun to be had for a lot of the reasons people dont like this game. The associations between words dont make a whole ton of sense intuitively, so the fun we’ve been able to have is in trying to figure out/predict what the games sense of logic/association is. Definitely not fun in the traditional sense, more just frustrating in an oddly interesting way.
We wanted to love this game but really didnt. There are so many illogical/glitchy aspects to the game, in which very similar words/concepts will receive wildly different relevance scores, even if theyre both related to the goal word. The idea is fun, but the game itself definitely needs some fine-tuning.

Ill start guessing and idk what Im guessing for. How vague is the answer? No way to tell. What do those context points mean? Who knows but it doesn’t seem consistent, no direction, person got 100 but people got 124222 like cool why is there such s difference?
Seems like after every 3rd-4th word we guess, we have to watch a 30 second ad. Ads would be better in between levels or spaced out more during levels. Frustrating.
Cool concept. WAY TOO MUCH ADDS.
Literally after guessing 1 or 2 words we get stuck with an ad its actually ridiculous & the word youre trying to ultimately guess has little to no correlation with words they think make sense.. A joke.
We understand needing ads to make money but we get frustrated when an ad pops up every 5-10 guesses. Basically makes the game unplayable.

Ads are very inappropriate for a +4 app (Im 12). We have been clicking stop seeing ad, and giving the reason but each time a similar app pops up Big L.

You get so many ads on this app. We know it’s free and we understand advertising helps pay for everything. But when you get 5+ ads on just one word, it’s going overboard. We could understand one after every word guessed, but multiple times being taken out just for an advertisement… It’s a no for us.
The related words are barely related to not at all, and getting the answer is more down to luck than skill.
Ads are a part of life so we wont complain about it, but for $2.99 to have them gone forever, super easy choice. Dont mind putting that on our credit card for the month haha. Very happy with how stable the actual app is. Not glitchy, and not always giving pop ups for buying more IGC. Gifts every few levels is also very pleasant! All in all, 5 stars without ads! With ads, still probably at least 4.5.
We think it is great game because it gets you thinking and in a good way sometimes us and our family are sitting on the couch and we pull up the game and ask for help.
Its a good game in theory but needs some work. For example, we guessed the word road and it had a relevancy score in the 1000s. The word ended up being car. We were annoyed. The game doesnt seem to always recognize words that a regular person would associate with the end word.
We really enjoy the game itself, however there are so many ads it becomes almost unplayable. Im aware you can pay to remove the ads, however you shouldnt have to pay $2.99 just for the app to work. We have to turn our phone on airplane mode any time we want to play just so we dont get an ad every other word. Extremely extremely frustrating.
Too many ads. When you hit the PLAY button you should never be taken to an ad. Straight red card. Intentional foul. Disqualified from the rest of the game. Insert every other terrible sports foul reference you can think of. We’ll wait for version 2.0 to see if it’s improved.
We paid for no ads because they were popping up every other guess and it was driving us crazy. Then we reached level 110 just for it to send us back to level 58. Im done with this game. Wish we hadnt paid.
Fun idea and enjoyed it at first, but some of the point values make no sense; the game becomes frustrating. For example, if the word is "car" why does "motorcycle" have a point value in the single digits, but "racecar" (you know, a TYPE of car…) has a value in the triple digits? This game is full of nonsensical relation values like this. Makes us curious how they determine it. Also, sometimes a word will work in a level and sometimes it won’t. "rent" was a valid word in the "car" level, but in the next one, the game suddenly didn’t know that extremely common word and corrected it to "rend"
This game isnt that bad. It has a fun concept, but the logic doesnt make too much sense. There is also a large amount of ads played in the middle of gameplay, which interrupts the flow and focus that you may have while playing.
Like always, ads just ruin every game.
Its way too hard and the actual word has nothing to do with the words that get highly relevant points. We waisted our time downloading and playing this game it ruined our life! We will never get those 10 minutes of our life back and thats not okay. Delete this game now and never put it back on the App Store or we will sue contexto. We dont think we will ever be able to forgive myself for even thinking about downloading this app so thanks a lot for making our life miserable @contexto.
